"Cheating! You're cheating!"
Because of Silas's reminder, Hajrudin lost the match, which made the old giant Yoruru so angry that his face turned red and his neck swelled. He nearly stepped into the ring himself to duel with Silas.
"Pfft-hahahaha! I just told Rocks not to hold back. Going all out is showing respect to your opponent, isn't it?" Silas laughed heartily. He admitted that without his reminder, it would have been much harder for Rocks to win this battle. But this was Rocks's own ability to begin with, and it was only a matter of time before he discovered it himself. Silas had no doubt about that.
"I'm sorry, Lord Yoruru. I lost!" The young giant pouted, gritting his teeth with an expression that looked like he was about to cry.
"Don't be discouraged, Hajrudin," Yaruru said gently, patting the boy's shoulder. "You're still very young. When you become an adult, you'll definitely become countless times stronger than you are now."
"Yes!" Hajrudin nodded firmly, his resolve renewed.
"Well?" Rocks walked up to Silas, his breathing still heavy from the fight. "You can teach me the Six Powers now, right?"
After two months together, Rocks had learned many things from Silas. Among them was knowledge about the legendary "Six Powers." There was "Shave," which involved rapidly stomping the ground in a short period to burst into high speed. "Iron Body," which accelerated blood flow to make the body as hard as steel. "Paper Art," which allowed free control of the body. "Moonwalk," which enabled walking in the air. And "Tempest Kick," a kicking technique that compressed air to form slashing attacks, and "Finger Gun," which concentrated all power into the fingertips to attack enemies like bullets.
Even Silas had to admit that whoever developed the Six Powers was a genius. Learning the Six Powers meant developing one's physical abilities to the absolute limit, which meant having the qualification to master Haki.
"I won't go back on my word," Silas declared. "Ripley, you come too. Although it's difficult for giants to learn the complete Six Powers, further developing your body will help you master Haki more easily."
That was right. Although she was much stronger than Rocks, Ripley, who had only recently become an adult, actually had not mastered Haki yet. In fact, most giants could not learn Haki. Their massive size granted them tremendous strength, but it also increased the difficulty of developing their potential. Just covering one arm with Haki required an astonishing amount of energy.
"A bet is a bet," Yaruru said with a gracious smile. "Since your little crewmate won, we'll keep our promise. As long as His Majesty Harald agrees, we'll use the Adam Wood stored in our warehouse to help you build a large ship."
After comforting Hajrudin, Yaruru stroked his fluffy beard and walked over to Silas.
Silas's original pirate ship, the Black Pearl, was a large vessel nearly sixty meters long and forty meters wide, spacious enough to accommodate dozens of people with room to spare. However, if Ripley was going to join, the Black Pearl's size would seem quite inadequate. Because Ripley alone was twenty meters tall, if she just lay down on the deck of an ordinary pirate ship, there would not be any space left.
So to build a new ship, they would need at least a vessel over one hundred meters long. Silas thought of the cargo ships he had seen in his previous life. They were easily hundreds of meters long, with carrying capacities that exceeded hundreds of thousands of tons.
The problem now was that while the giants could help him build a ship over one hundred meters long, whether he could actually operate it was another matter entirely. Just controlling the sails was not something that could be managed by simply turning the wheel. Their pirate crew was still too small.
Silas glanced at Charlotte Linlin. Although she was a future Emperor, she was currently just a five-year-old girl who could not walk away from food. The bonfire party had lasted several hours, from sunset to moonrise, and Charlotte Linlin had been eating sweets for hours straight.
"Delicious!" Charlotte Linlin's face showed a blissful expression. "Grandpa Silas, do you want some?"
Seeing Silas looking over, Charlotte Linlin offered him a piece of cake with her sticky little hands.
"Then I won't be polite," Silas chuckled. The current Charlotte Linlin was still at her most innocent age, completely different from the cruel and merciless sea emperor she would become later.
The moment he accepted the cake, a familiar panel appeared in his vision.
Charlotte Linlin's Favorability -10.
Current Favorability: 30 (Friendly)
Charlotte Linlin's Impression: Although the old grandpa ate my cake, he should be a good person, right?
The smile on Silas's face immediately froze. It was just one piece of cake! So you were just being polite?
The clown was me all along?
Silas sighed. Although the current Charlotte Linlin was not as brutal as she would become later, her food possessiveness was already showing.
"Linlin, do you know what ice cream is?"
"Ice cream?"
"Yes, it's like cake, but it's a cake that you only eat in summer."
Silas crushed a cookie and compressed it into a cone shape. Using his Mythical Zoan powers, a large ball of crushed ice quickly condensed on the cone. Combining the cake and crushed ice, a simple ice cream was ready.
Elbaf's June was scorching hot. This era was not like the one in Silas's memory, where every household had air conditioning. Under these circumstances, the appeal of ice cream became enormous.
"Linlin, do you want to try it?"
"Yes!" The chubby little girl nodded eagerly.
"I have plenty more. You need to share with everyone and eat together."
Silas made a large quantity of ice cream using the same method. The giants had just finished dinner so they could have some dessert.
"So cold!" The giant girl received an ice cream from Linlin, carefully licked it once, and her face immediately showed a blissful expression. "It's like summer sherbet!"
"Haha, it's just something I made casually. If you like it, I can make more next time."
Silas said with a smile because he saw that Charlotte Linlin also showed a blissful expression after eating the ice cream.
"So delicious! Grandpa Silas, I want more!"
"No, eating too much ice cream in a short time will give you a headache."
Although agreeing to Charlotte Linlin's request might have increased her favorability even more, Silas was well aware that spoiling a child was harmful to them. He did not want Charlotte Linlin to repeat the same path from the other world.
When it was time to refuse, he would refuse. With Silas's strength, suppressing a five-year-old Charlotte Linlin was all too easy.
The night passed quickly. Since his cellular activity had increased, even Silas's sleep had become more restful. He woke up refreshed and full of energy.
At the same time, the old giant Yaruru brought news.
"Silas, boy, come with me to Orlston Castle."
"His Majesty wants to see you."
