Nancy was intrigued. It was clear to her that they weren't humans but why isn't anyone or everyone shocked or alarmed. And those people stared at her and only her. It was quite obvious it wasn't because of her beauty but something else she don't know about.
Also was it just her that could see black flames around them? But why? Why is she seeing this? What is wrong with her? She closed her eyes and opened it again but she wasn't hallucinating those shadow people. Then what does this all mean? That she's weird and really have powers like Jackson had said? No. She ain't believing that.
She walked to one of them. It was a female. She smiled and began conversing with her and it went well. The girl laughed and smiled and talks perfectly well. Until.... She touched her.
Nancy felt a shock and her hands temperature went high. Her skin was red and she could see the girl surpress the pain by hiding her face behind her hair. What just happened?
"I'm sorry." Nancy tried to touch the girls hair and see her face but then again her hair crumbles down into ash. Nancy stood up and staggered back. She accidently bumped into someone but the persons didn't jolt due to her hands touch. The persons hair also didn't crumble in her hands. She finally saw the difference. It was clear.
Nancy fidgeted and immediately turned around to find Emily or Jackson. Anyone in Jackson's group at all. But first Emily. Besides finding Emily is finding Jackson. She went round the place. From the pool side to the bar and then up the stairs but it's like Emily totally disappeared. Where could she be? She was about to leave the house when she bumped into someone.
"Ky.. Kyle?" Oh good. He should know where Jackson is.
"Where are you going to in a hurry" he asked as he held her. She has almost fell.
"I need to find Jackson. You've seen him?" She asked not thinking much of how she almost just fell on him and how now he held her shoulder.
"Well... I did see him with Emily. They said they wanted to be alone or so..."
"Why?..." Realizes that maybe emily would have started something..... Urgh. "Nevermind just take me to them."
"Are you sure you're okay? They actually told me to come check on you." Nancy glared at him questioningly " I mean so you're not bored."
" I'm fine. I just.. I wanna see Jackson. I have something I wanna tell him." She turned around to leave but her shoe got stuck and she tripped. Great. She had to fall now. When she was in a hurry. Nancy waited for the pain but it didn't come.
She turned around to see Kyle who held her waist and starred into her eyes. Time stood still a bit and all she could see was Kyle's face. Her face burned red and she could swear her heart were beating faster than normal. No Nancy. Not the time. Snap out of it.
"Oh. My. Goodness. Get a room guys." Allison voice finally popped up. And Nancy almost choked.
"If this is a way to cause jealousy, I've totally submitted." Alice smiled and looked at them.
"She almost fell Allison." Kyle bluntly answered as he helped Nancy stand properly.
"Thanks by the way." Nancy said and turned her attention back to finding Jackson.
"Wait where are you going?" Evielyn asked.
"To find Jackson. There's something I wanna tell him."
"You can tell us first." Alice suggested.
Nancy thought. Would it be right to tell them? She wanted to tell their leader. Even if it would be better to tell them instead because it was less intimidating than when with Jackson.
"Well... There are this shadow things disguised as people. I don't know how I did it but I can see flames around them and when I touched one of them, the skin was red. Its like I burned the being. I don't know what they are." Annach rambled to say.
"Relax Nancy. They are shadow demons. The lowest of their level."
"If it were to be a 5 star Kresutian you wouldn't find a difference cause they were once human."
"What you say today are xonidjez."
"What? Cho-nee-jeez?" Nancy tried pronouncing it.What the hell did they mean by that?
"Xonidjez Nancy. Its Gregnd language." Alice corrected.
"So... Why? Why are they here? What are they here for? How do we get rid of them?" Nancy asked questioningly.
"Didn't think they'd act so soon. But they're here for you." Evielyn said like it didn't just mean that Nancy's life is in danger.
Nancy hiccupped. Me? What? Here for me?
"...not really Evielyn. If they're here for Nancy they could have gotten her since. But they didn't." Kyle said.
"Then what could they be here for?" Nancy asked. She thought hard. Her life is in danger but it didn't matter. What matters most in the world to her right now.
"Oh no! Emily." Nancy said. Then a laughter was heard.
