Louissa's face darkened even more, but she remained calm and spoke heavily, "Mom, maybe things aren't really what I thought they were anymore."
"What happened?" Lenny frowned, clearly worried.
Louissa had no choice but to pull Lenny into her room and recount everything that had happened.
Lenny's brows furrowed deeper. "That's not how it's supposed to be. Even if the Clavel Group has its secrets, you and Sebastian were certain about each other. He shouldn't be getting angry over something like that."
