Discovered in 2005 by Dr. Elara Brave-Stone Heart, building on her mother Eren’s visionary theories, the Gate birthed a new era of heroes called Guardians, trained at Aether Academy to protect society. Soul Bonds, classified as Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Ancient, vary from simple enhancements to godlike powers, but a mysterious 1945 cutoff and whispers of a Dark Gate faction cast shadows over this golden age.
