"You!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen's face turned red with rage. He glared around, furious, like a cornered beast.
His temples throbbed.
"What is it you want from me?!"
The Third Hokage's voice thundered, anger surging like a storm.
"I am Hokage! Appointed by the Second Hokage himself!"
Hyuga Naraku scoffed. "You still dare to invoke the name of the Second Hokage?"
He stepped forward, his voice calm but icy.
"If Tobirama Senju were still alive, do you think he wouldn't strike you down on the spot?"
The room held its breath.
Naraku's words sliced through the tension like a blade.
He continued, unrelenting.
"During the First Great Ninja War, the Second Hokage led his squad to the Hidden Cloud to sign a treaty. But instead, the Gold and Silver Brothers ambushed them—traitors empowered with Nine-Tails chakra and Six Paths tools.
Tobirama made a choice.
He stayed behind… so his students could live.
He chose you, Hiruzen, as the next Hokage."
Naraku's gaze sharpened.
"At that moment, he embodied the Will of Fire. But look at what you've become.
Tobirama gave up his life for his comrades. And you?
You betrayed yours to keep your throne."
Murmurs stirred.
"Instead of protecting the village, you orchestrated the downfall of Hatake Sakumo—Konoha's White Fang. You crafted a trap to destroy his prestige!"
"Lies!" Hiruzen barked, veins bulging.
Naraku ignored him.
"Let's compare again.
In the Second Great Ninja War, Tsunade's younger brother Nawaki—First Hokage's own grandson—was sent to the battlefield, where he died.
And you?
You refused to send your own son, Asuma, into the Third Great Ninja War!"
He pointed, accusatory.
"In fact, Hiruzen, did you ever step foot onto the battlefield yourself?"
"I had to stay in the village to prevent other nations from exploiting our vulnerability!" Hiruzen snapped.
Naraku laughed coldly. "Is that so? Or was it because you had already found the perfect puppet?
Namikaze Minato.
The Fourth Hokage. The Yellow Flash."
A hush fell.
"Minato was your spinning top, tossed from battlefield to battlefield with no rest.
His three disciples? Two are dead.
Obito Uchiha, crushed on the Rock battlefield.
Rin Nohara, killed in Mist.
And Minato? The fastest shinobi alive, unable to save either of them.
Why?
Because you sent him everywhere, spread him too thin."
Naraku's voice rose, filled with fury.
"You turned him into your silver bullet—while you sat comfortably in your office."
The clan heads murmured agreement.
Even the ever-stoic Aburame clan nodded grimly.
"And after Minato's death?" Naraku asked.
"You cowered when Cloud dared to threaten Konoha, ready to hand over your own people to avoid war."
He turned again, locking eyes with Hiruzen.
"Let's speak of Naruto Uzumaki."
The room tensed.
"The son of the Fourth Hokage… Jinchūriki of the Nine-Tails.
Why does the entire village call him a demon fox?
How do they know?
They don't even understand what a Jinchūriki is!"
He glared. "These weren't just rumors. They were planted. Spread. Weaponized."
Hatake Kakashi stepped forward, his visible eye cold as steel.
"My father died from those same kinds of rumors," he said flatly.
"And now Naruto… my teacher's son… suffers the same fate."
"You claim Tobirama chose you," Naraku said, voice low.
"But in truth, choosing you was the Second Hokage's greatest mistake."
"You and your council—Shimura Danzo, Mitokado Homura, Utatane Koharu—you are a cancer."
He raised his voice.
"I, Hyuga Naraku, move to impeach Third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen and the advisory elders."
The room fell silent.
But Naraku's voice echoed, strong and unflinching:
"Charge One: Abuse of power, exploiting the village to strengthen your clan and yourself.
Charge Two: Conspiracy and defamation, slandering Hatake Sakumo and driving him to suicide.
Charge Three: Manipulating the orphan of the Fourth Hokage to gain control over the Nine-Tails.
Charge Four: Cowardice in the face of enemy threats, willing to sacrifice loyal shinobi to preserve your image.
Charge Five: Harboring and protecting Danzo, allowing the Root to abduct and manipulate the next generation of Konoha's clans."
He drew breath and declared:
"I, Hyuga Naraku, on behalf of myself and the Uchiha Clan, demand the removal of Sarutobi Hiruzen and the two advisory elders from power. Immediate arrest. Full investigation. Justice for Konoha."
A heartbeat passed.
Then Hyuga Hiashi stepped forward.
"The Hyuga Clan supports Naraku's motion."
Aburame Shibi spoke next. "The Aburame Clan also supports the removal of the Third Hokage."
Hatake Kakashi looked Hiruzen in the eye.
"I, Hatake Kakashi, demand your removal… for my father."
The Ino-Shika-Cho trio stood tall, shoulders squared.
Nara Shikaku: "The Nara Clan seconds the motion."
Yamanaka Inoichi: "The Yamanaka Clan seconds the motion."
Akimichi Choza: "The Akimichi Clan seconds the motion."
Sarutobi Hiruzen's hand trembled as he pointed at them, betrayed.
"You… you three as well?"
He turned, desperate, but the tide had turned.
The flood could not be stopped.
"The Inuzuka Clan seconds!"
"The Kurama Clan seconds!"
"The Abiko Clan seconds!"
The hall erupted.
Voices roared like crashing waves.
Konoha's clans had spoken.
The age of Sarutobi Hiruzen… was over.
