"Did I ask you any of that?" Raito said quietly.
His grip tightened as he lifted Jiro off the ground with one hand.
"I didn't ask whether they could defeat me or not," he continued, voice low and dangerous. "I asked you one thing."
His eyes burned.
"Where. Is. She."
Jiro struggled, choking.
"She's already in this mess because of me," Raito said. "And I will save her."
His grip tightened further as he lifted Jiro higher, his expression utterly cold.
"Good. Thanks."
Raito released Jiro and stepped back.
"And… sorry about earlier. I lost my temper."
Then he turned.
"I'm out."
He rose into the air—
BOOM!
The sound shattered the skyline. Raito vanished in a thunderous shockwave, accelerating instantly. Purple lightning crackled across his body as Thunder Mist activated, arcs of electricity ripping through the air, bending the clouds above him.
