Katy was still caught in the tug-of-war between her fear and that inexplicable pull when the kitchen door opened again. Jamie and Jayden re-entered, the subtle hum of their presence growing stronger as they approached.
"Here," Jamie said, holding out a cold bottle of beer. His golden eyes searched her face, a soft smile on his lips. "Thought you might need this. Sorry that's all we have."
Katy smiled back, a little forced, and took the bottle. "That's okay." She took a tentative sip, her face immediately squinting from the horrible taste of beer. She wasn't used to it, but she was going to be polite and drink it anyway. The brothers then sat down, one on each side of her, effectively sandwiching her on the long sofa. Their proximity was overwhelming,
their combined breathtaking scent enveloping her, drawing her deeper into the strange atmosphere.
She cleared her throat, trying to sound casual. "So, umm, did I come too early? No one is here yet but us," she ventured, her voice betraying a hint of the nervousness she felt.
Jayden's voice was calm, almost too calm. "Unfortunately, the others had to cancel, so it will just be us tonight."
"Oh," Katy said, the single word heavy with disappointment and a fresh wave of unease. She gulped down some more beer, the bitter liquid doing little to ease her mounting anxiety.
"We aren't going to hurt you, Katy," Jamie said, his voice soft, almost a whisper, as if he'd read her mind.
But his words, instead of reassuring her, only served to ignite the growing frustration and confusion inside her. Katy stood up abruptly, looking from Jamie to Jayden, her eyes narrowed. "What is going on?" she demanded, her voice rising, losing its earlier hesitation. "You mysteriously showed up at my work, invited me to a non-existent party. "I know everyone in this town, but I have no clue who you both are, but yet I couldn't resist coming here tonight, taking the chance I'd be murdered."
Both boys rose, moving with a fluid, synchronized grace that was unnerving. They approached her softly, a quiet intensity in their golden eyes. Jamie stopped directly in front of her, their gazes locking, a powerful, unspoken connection forming between them. Katy felt a familiar warmth spread through her, quickly followed by a sharp, nervous anticipation that made her bite her lip.
While their eyes remained fixed, Jayden moved silently behind her. He reached out, his fingers gently parting her hair, allowing his hot breath to ghost across her neck. A shiver ran through Katy, weakening her knees, her entire body suddenly exquisitely sensitive.
"What are you doing?" Katy managed to whisper, her voice barely audible.
"Shh, just go with it," Jayden murmured, his voice a low rumble against her ear, even as his fingers began a slow, gentle descent down her side, setting her skin alight. A soft moan escaped Katy's lips.
At the same moment, Jamie's hand glided down her cheek, his touch feather-light, yet incredibly potent. His golden eyes never left hers, pulling her deeper into the moment. Katy's scent, heightened by her vulnerability and burgeoning desire, was almost unbearable for the brothers, making them ache with a raw, primal need they could barely contain.
Finally, Jamie leaned in, his lips finding hers in a deep, passionate kiss. It was a kiss that consumed her, filled with a hunger and a longing that mirrored the unexpected yearning in her own soul. Simultaneously, Jayden began to plant soft, tender kisses down her neck, each touch sending another wave of shivers through her.
A gasp, another soft moan, and then they all paused, a beat of breathless silence stretching between them.
"I've never done anything before..." Katy whispered, her voice laced with a sudden, vulnerable honesty. "I'm a virgin."
The boys looked at each other, a shared smirk passing between them, a glint of triumph and anticipation in their golden eyes. Jamie looked back at Katy, his gaze unwavering, his voice a low, husky whisper that sent delicious shivers through her. "If you want us to stop, just say the word."
Katy's heart hammered, a wild, exhilarating drum. All fear had vanished, replaced by an intoxicating desire. Her gaze met Jamie's, then flickered to Jayden's. "No," she breathed, her voice firm, resolute. "I want you both now."
