The road gleamed silver under the sun as golden carriages bearing the Amethyst family crest rolled forward. Behind them, darker-colored carriages followed in a neat line.
As the coachman drove them forward, inside one of the golden carriages sat a family of four. The father had dark hair and golden eyes, exuding strength and nobility. The mother, with her gentle smile, had blonde hair and purple eyes that radiated warmth.
Seated beside them were their twin children. One had black hair and bright golden eyes filled with excitement. The other, also black-haired, had deep purple eyes that shimmered with a mix of anticipation and nervousness.
"I'm so excited to find out my magic affinity!" Ethan exclaimed, bouncing slightly in his seat.
His mother chuckled at his enthusiasm.
"That's obvious to everyone," Stella muttered, rolling her eyes at her brother.
"Come on! It's not like you're not excited either. Once we know our affinity, we can use magic just like Mom and Dad!" Ethan grinned, bouncing again in his seat.
"O-of course, I'm excited!" Stella said, flustered. "I already know mine will be the best. After all, I'm the daughter of Mom and Dad!" She raised her chin and puffed out her chest, proudly declaring her admiration for her parents.
"Okay, okay, you two, quiet down before you start fighting again," Leiya said, laughing gently at their bickering.
"Listen to your mother. We're almost at our destination," Ryan, the Duke, added, his golden eyes reflecting the silhouettes of his children with pride.

Ethan's POV
It's been five years since I was born into this world.
Unlike in my past life, where my parents didn't care about me, in this life... I have loving, caring parents and one annoying sister. But even with everything I've gained, a part of me is still scared. What if... they don't like the real me? What if they start to hate me for it?
I know they're different... I know. But still.
For the past five years, I've been thinking about the god's offer. And now, as I grow closer to this family... I know I won't be able to resist it. I'll accept it.
