Chapter 162 - Chapter 162 Naruto's New Uniform

Yaozai Ubuyashiki quickly said, "Mr. Urokodaki lives on Mount Sagiri. I will immediately dispatch Kasugai Crows and nearby Demon Slayer Corps members to search for the charcoal seller mentioned by Naruto Pillar."

"After the Infinity Castle battle, Naruto Pillar must be exhausted. Please rest well at the headquarters."

"Once there's news about the charcoal seller, Naruto Pillar will be informed immediately."

Although Naruto appeared young, even taller than his peers, he was still only a thirteen-year-old boy. However, Yaozai Ubuyashiki, as the "Master" of the Demon Slayer Corps, held Naruto in extreme reverence.

One must know, the sunny, cheerful, and incredibly approachable young man before him was an extraordinary existence who had eliminated Muzan Kibutsuji and the Twelve Kizuki.

He absolutely could not be viewed with common sense!

"Alright."

"I'll trouble you all."

Naruto nodded, temporarily resting for a night at the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters.

Quickly clearing Demon Slayer Corps and eliminating Muzan Kibutsuji wasn't much, but the constant teleportation and the significant consumption from casting the Absolute Cube that enveloped the Infinity Castle were quite taxing.

Now that the dust had settled, Naruto wasn't in a hurry to find a large quantity of blue spider lily, so he chose to rest and use the power of the Ubuyashiki family and the Demon Slayer Corps to search for Tanjiro's family.

The next day.

Three female Demon Slayer Corps members responsible for logistics and medical care at the Butterfly Estate were peeking around outside Naruto's resting room, looking mischievous but also a bit silly.

"Do you think Naruto Pillar is awake yet?"

"I don't know, he probably needs a lot of sleep."

"I heard Naruto Pillar single-handedly wiped out all demons, eradicating the Demon King and the Twelve Kizuki."

"What does such an amazing person look like?"

"Will he be tall and big like Stone Pillar, or a middle-aged man like Flame Pillar?"

The three female members huddled at the door, whispering.

News of Naruto's deeds had completely spread throughout the Demon Slayer Corps yesterday.

This was a deliberate promotion by Yaozai Ubuyashiki.

It not only helped boost the morale of the Demon Slayer Corps and enhance their combat effectiveness but also allowed retired Demon Slayer Corps members to learn of this universally joyous news.

The logistics members stationed at the headquarters naturally developed a strong curiosity about Naruto.

"Ahem."

A serious-faced Shinobu Kochou appeared behind the three female members.

"Successor!"

The three female members, seeing the stern Shinobu Kochou, shrank their necks in fright.

Compared to the gently smiling Kanae Kochou, they seemed to fear the serious Shinobu Kochou more.

"What are you doing standing here?" Shinobu Kochou asked.

"Bringing clothes to Naruto Pillar."

"Bringing breakfast to Naruto Pillar."

"Bringing to Naruto Pillar—"

After the first and second female members spoke, it was the third female member's turn. She blinked, her pupils turning into circles, embarrassed and unsure how to answer.

She was just following her friends to join the fun and get a glimpse of Naruto Pillar.

Shinobu Kochou said impatiently, "Leave the things at the door. I'll wake Naruto Pillar up."

"Ah—" "

"Okay—Okay then—"

The three female members looked incredibly disappointed.

Just then, with a "creak," the door opened.

Naruto, having finished his training, walked out of the room and greeted Shinobu Kochou and the others, "Good morning."

"Naruto—Naruto Pillar!"

The serious Shinobu Kochou, upon seeing Naruto, immediately blushed, looking a bit shy and flustered.

"Wow, so this is the legendary Naruto Pillar~"

"So young, and so handsome~"

"I love him!"

The three female members cupped their faces in infatuation, their circle eyes sparkling with bright little stars.

Naruto picked up the neatly folded black Demon Slayer Corps uniform and the haori, which only Pillars wore, from the tray.

The haori was half gold and half white, the gold part adorned with orange diamond patterns, and the white part's bottom had burning flame patterns. It somewhat resembled Giyu Tomioka's two-toned haori, looking quite cool overall.

Then there was the breakfast prepared by the kitchen.

"Thank you."

Naruto began to eat his breakfast.

"Naruto Pillar praised me~"

"I'm so happy!"

"Hehehe—"

The three female members cupped their faces with their small hands, their bodies wriggling like noodles.

Shinobu Kochou gave them an exasperated look, then, with longing, said to Naruto, "Naruto Pillar, Master told me to convey a message: they've found the charcoal-selling family."

"Oh, they found them?"

"The Demon Slayer Corps is quite fast."

"But knowing Tanjiro's family is near Sagiri makes them easy to find."

Shinobu Kochou looked up at a crow perched on a treetop.

"Caw~ Caw~"

The crow flapped its wings and immediately flew down, circling above Naruto and Shinobu Kochou's heads, astonishingly speaking human words: "Naruto Pillar, my name is Uronmaru! Master ordered me to guide you, caw~ Please take care of me!"

Naruto stuffed the remaining egg into his mouth, then returned to his room to change into the Demon Slayer Corps uniform, don the haori, and fasten his nichirin blade at his waist, once again making everyone's eyes light up.

"Let's go."

"Caw~"

The crow named Uronmaru flapped its wings and flew into the air.

"Naruto Pillar, please follow."

Uronmaru said, looking back.

"I'm ahead."

With his haori fluttering, Naruto actually flew past it.

"Humans—can—can fly!?"

The Kasugai Crow almost popped its eyeballs out of its sockets.

"Uronmaru, you're too slow. Stand on my shoulder and just point the way," Naruto said.

"Caw! I'm slow?"

Uronmaru was a bit incredulous but still stood on Naruto's shoulder, raising one wing and pointing northeast: "There, over there."

"Good."

Before the words finished, with a "boom," Naruto directly unfurled his Shadow Wings, which resembled large dragon wings, and flew towards Mount Sagiri.

His speed was so fast that it almost threw Uronmaru off.

"Tanjiro, Nezuko, are you two sure you can go to town to sell charcoal?"

In front of a small house, a gentle woman with a white headscarf, wearing a purple checkered kimono and a white square-collared long coat over it, with a baby strapped to her back, instructed two teenagers.

The boy was about ten years old, with a prominent burn mark on his forehead.

The girl was about eight years old, with long black hair that had orange tips, wearing a pink-patterned kimono with a black haori over it.

They were Tanjiro Kamado and Nezuko Kamado of the Kamado family.

Their mother, Kie Kamado, repeatedly urged, "No matter if you sell all the charcoal or not, you must be home before dark, understand?"

"The forest not only has bears, but I've heard that monsters that eat people have appeared recently."

Tanjiro lifted the bamboo basket on his back and said with a smile, "Mom, don't worry."

"Cough, cough, cough—"

The pale, sickly Tanjuro Kamado lifted the door curtain, coughing uncontrollably, and said in a weak voice, "Originally, selling charcoal in town was my job, but now you children have to do it, cough! cough!"
