Damien's pov
I licked my lips in satisfaction, watching him run like a scared little rabbit.
"Wasn't that the guy at the bar yesterday, what's he doing here." Daniel asked breaking me out of my thoughts.
"His working here, what are you doing here." I asked feeling a bit irritated, that he interrupted our make out session.
"Nothing much, just came to see how our new CEO is doing but it seems like his doing fine." He said with a teasing smile on his face while taking a seat.
"I didn't tell you to seat,get out." I said pointing at the door.
"You can't chase me away, you didn't even offer me anything." He said.
"Okay, watch me." I picked up the phone trying to call the security.
"Fine, I'm leaving." He said standing and walking towards the door.
"Close the door on your way out." I called out.
When he left I leaned back and closed my eyes then alex's image came to my mind, he's so cute when he blushes.
Alex's pov.
In the bathroom,I saw my face was red,I splashed water on my face and looked in the mirror again,I looked a bit better.
How could he be so reckless, thinking back my face reddened again,ughh,I can't avoid him.
Speaking of avoiding him my alarm rang reminding me that there was a board meeting in ten minutes.
I went back to the office,got all the things I needed for the meeting and walked to his office trying to calm myself down then knocked on the door and went in.
"Sir, the meeting is to start in five minutes." I reported not daring to look him in the eye,if I do the color on my cheeks will appear.
"Okay, give me five minutes sit here and wait for me." He said not looking up from the documents he was reading.
I went to the sofa to sit but I was so nervous,it wasn't the my first time of going a meeting or it's because he's around,no it can't be it maybe cause I didn't get enough sleep last night, yeah it's that.
While i was still thinking about it,he suddenly stood up went to were I was seating and leaned closer I thought he was going to kiss me again so I closed my eyes unconsciously but the kiss never came,I opened my eyes slowly to see he just wanted to take he's suit,he looked at me with a teasing smile. Ugh, he did that on purpose.
"Let's go." He said like as if nothing happened.
We walked out of the office and into the elevator. I made a mental note to give him space.
Ding!
The elevator door opened,I tried walking out first but we ended up bumping into each other.
"Sorry." I said going back for him to go out first.
"No, you go first." He offered.
"Ohh, thanks." I said rushing out of there. I heard him chuckle from behind me.
He went in and everyone rose to greet him,then they started the meeting. As for me I just stood by his side taking notes of necessary things.
Fourty - five minutes later.
"It has come to the end of this meeting,you are all dismissed." He said with an authorized voice.
"That took forever." I thought.
We took the elevator and went to his office cause I needed to get some paperworks done and give him the reports of the meeting. I went to my office and brought a huge stack of papers for him to sign.
"That's a lot,help me go through it while I sign it." He said he didn't even give me any chance to refuse and went back to his work.
