Dominic wore a new kind of dress that was forged with a lot of intent. Although there was a limit to how much a structure can hold aura and it would need to be washed using aura for a longer time to let it hold more aura, when it would be washed with intent, although the intent level imparted while washing it would not increase but the mystery of intent would be stacked up and increased in quantity and quality.
So when he walked outside, others saw him and were mortified enough to now see him. They saw beauty in him as his beauty was preciser than any body, with each atom in his body being made the most cleanest and precise and the arrangement of every other part of the body, the frequency of moment, the rhythm of the body along with the pulsing of energy as precise as his control over energy with the highest charm as his intent was of higher level.
So many were in trance before coming back to their senses as all of them were a practitioner of strength in one manner or another and had strengthened the control over their body and self.
Dominic knew that he was too strong enough to destroy the world. But that would not be what he wanted as he just wanted to kill all that was not humans. He was a human and wanted to live as a human and hence, he had to get married, find a new family that is willing to love him, find new friends who does have similar views to him, establish a territory and teach the residents for three generations before he can get some people who live the way he likes humanity to.
So for now, he was going to try to bring Venus onto his side. Although he had planned to enslave his wives as he wanted them to be more pure and strong and he did not want them to every have a possibility of betraying him and since all the descendants of intent slaves were slaves for generations, he wanted his descendants to be as such. His children will not have any intent but if his wife is an intent slave then his children with her would be intent slaves. He wanted his descendants to be strong.
But his pride did not allow him to enslave a women who was not in love with him or had not decided to be with him to make her be with him. So for now,he could only hope to fall for him. But he did not give much attention to Venus as any women, with intent being imparted onto them, will be the most handsome women. The only reason why he was searching for pretty ones were that since he does not like intent beings changing their genes but it shall only make the genes more refined and the body stronger by adding more energy to already existing structure that had been made more refined, not all beauties would be the kind of beauty he would like even if they are really pretty. Some like silly blonde women while other like blond ladies with queen like temperament. Intent does not change a person unless that person wills to so and would only strengthen all good features passively and instinctually.
Dominic got onto the horse he had always had. He had raised this horse since it was a foal as he believed in bond more than servitude. This had allowed him to have a good friend that stayed by his side. This horse had fought alongside him, even running back when he had fallen down while fighting the enemy general. Even though ti was an ordinary horse and then he had not had unlimited energy, he had eaten more mana stones and fed pure refined mana into the body of horse to make it strong. Now he had imparted intent onto it and transferred aura every time the horse could accept it.
The horse rubbed its head against him and Dominic hugged it slightly. He got on top of the horse and mentally commanded it go to the direction it had to go.
The pathway for nobles was different from the road for the commoners. It was better looking made using the low class material known as granite while the houses and castle were made using red-rock. He saw many good looking houses inhabited by many lower class nobles and government officials and the castles made using red-rock.
Earth based magic made it easier to mold such rocks which cannot be broken by most knights. So it was easy to note the where the venue of the celebration was and went to that castle.
The knights standing at the entrance was scared and were ready with their weapons as his mount had released all his temperament. Mount was the face of the knight and even though he was a really strong mage, most of his important parts of the life was spent on battlefield by using swords.
He looked at the knights. His look scared them and they let him enter without even looking for the invitation card as they had stopped thinking rationally for some period of time. He got out and looked at his horse and said to it to enjoy its time in the pet area. The pet area had many magical pets as most nobles were wizards and even the knights would have enough money to buy a contract seal to make a contract with magical animals.
He did not worry about his horse which was stronger than the dragon king.
He entered through the gates. He took his card and gave it to the butler at the side as he was new here and was not well known, he had to give his card so that the person can announce his name.
It did not take much long before his arrival was announced, "Here comes Dominic Slayer White, Dominic the slayer, former General of Western front of Lunabria, once General of United front of Southern Nations against orc empire, once General of Sixth and Seventh United front of Southern Nations against mutated monsters, slayer of demons, king-slayer and an archmage and arch-knight. "
Dominic entered and saw that all were looking at him. Lord Ponus walked over to him and smiled slight and took his hand and said, "Never expected that I would see the great Dominic the white. I am happy that you are here, on the day that my daughter announces herself to the world."
Dominic smiled and nodded. He then said, "I have always looked up to the roman empire and wanted to transform my land's customs into something similar. I had heard that your daughter is the prettiest and I want to announce myself in a mild manner as an archlord alongside someone pretty."
Ponus came near him and asked him with a slightly lowered voice, "I do not want someone taking away the fame and enjoyment of my daughter today. I do not care if you are an archmage but I have enough power to ensure that Roman empire will never accept you."
Dominic smiled and walked to him and said, "I do not want to steal the thunder of your lovely daughter. But sadly you are just a duke and not a king. There are 12 dukes of similar position to yours, 5 kings above you and an imperial family with absolute power above them. Who will protect your daughter. I just need to announce that I am going to attack you and the empire will give up on you if I am willing to form an alliance with the Roman empire. Who will protect your lovely daughter then? You do not want something to happen to her just like how Helen was forced to marry King Carson."
Ponus looked at Dominic. This man was right. Even, he could not push away this man away from his daughter even if Dominic had not been an archmage as his fame and reputation rivaled that of ancient heroes. After all, he is one of the few men who is willing to fight against other races with having to face any inner moral torment. Ponus got scared remembering how Dominic had even killed the children of other races.
So he came near Dominic and asked, "What do you want?"
Dominic smiled and said, "I will not steal her thunder but I want to be mildly announced and wants to be noticed. Nothing more and nothing less."
Ponus said, "Follow me" and Dominic folled Ponus. Ponus spoke, "I had thought that you would be asking for her hand in marriage."
Dominic smiled and said, "I am an archmage with 500 years of lifespan. What makes you think that me who is not bound by a domain or family will be marrying into your family for a daughter who has nothing more than beauty. I do want to get married as it is high time that I find a wife. But she should not only be pretty but should be able to be well with me. We should have some connection. So I will be courting her and if I starts to like her and if she is willing to be with me, then I shall indeed marry her. I just want a pretty wife. I do not want my wife to be the prettiest women ever. "
Ponus nodded. They had reached the balcony and he activated the runes to keep the sound within. He asked, "What do you really want? I doubt you want to join the nobles as you are strong enough to destroy the royal family that forsake you and establish a new kingdom. You are not someone who wants to be under someone else."
Dominic smiled and said, "I do not want them to die. I want them to suffer."
Ponus scoffed at the lie and said, "You could have just killed her family and army and left her out. She would suffer as a commoner."
Dominic asked, "And then she will be taken in by another noble family as humans cannot let go of noble bloodline. She would not lose all hope and would put it on her children. Maybe a new tale of how she who believed in true love was forced to breed by a villain and how her son took revenge for her mother. I want her to suffer. I want the whole nation to suffer and for that, pure strength alone is not enough. I need enough political, social and economic strength to let all other nations take the decision to stay away from her and her nation. I should be strong enough that they will become an isolated nation and all the other races who wants to please me will constantly make them suffer. I want the people there to be hungry, children to be thrown away by parents, old ones to be killed or thrown away as their sons and daughters are poor enough to not have a morsel of food, the women to become prostitutes and men to become slaves. I want their noble families to fall down, their bloodlines corrupted and lost, their luxury lost and them to forget the noble etiquette they have learnt as they live a harsh life. I want the queen to suffer rebellion and betrayal from the whole nation and I want what had happened to their nation etched into history, into the bloodline memory of all races with bloodline memory, into the books of history held by the gods and demons. Then shall my revenge be over. But before all that, I shall try to live for myself as if I find out that I am unable to do it, I will simply go over their nation and slaughter the whole nation."
Ponus was scared by the words of the madman. There was a reason why the normal ones fear the wise, the wise fear the wise and ruthless and the ruthless fear the madman. No one can know what a madman will do.
He asked, "Is it needed? They just did not hold you back. Why take revenge on the whole nation?"
Dominic smiled and said, "You do not need to worry if I will do something to you and your family for your daughter. She is just a women. I may not like her after and even if I like her, unless she likes me, I will not force her. I do not know love and will not love so for me, someone who I like and who likes me is enough for me. That is all."
Ponus calmed himself down using an inner spell and said, "I am not scared off you."
Dominic said, "I accept what you say as the truth for now. I have some essence food in unlimited amount. As long as it is a human and is willing to consume in front of me or my loyal servant, they only needs to pay one-tenth of the global price. If not, pay the full money."
Ponus asked, "Is that how you are going to take revenge on them?"
Dominic smiled and said, "The royal family broke their promise. That women became someone I am purely disgusted with and the very fact that I had chased her once revolts me. The whole nation enjoyed peace bought by me and my cruel actions and called me a villain behind me. Even the people near me feared me and did not accept me while they knew what I did was the optimal solution to all. Since they are not even willing to speak out for me as I did not expect them to take any actual action, they are not worthy of what I have done for them. They who have donned themselves in the clothes of civilization and morality forgetting that morality was the order designed by leader through education and civilization was established by them using laws. But what enforced it, what ensured that all others were dead and would not arise, what made the people think that only one path remained was barbarism and cruelty. Roman empire has it and Greek empire has it. She and her nobles and her nation does not have it. They have forgotten cruelty and barbarism. With blood and war, without barbarism and cruelty, without power, nobles are no longer nobles."
Ponus nodded and said, "What you said is true? Your nation is one of the few nations that does not expect the nobles to be either well versed in strength or knowledge. But what does it have to do with your revenge. What does it have to do with us? Are you not simply speaking about past sadness just because I am here to listen? What do you want."
Dominic had his calmness returned. He sighed. Even though he was really angry at them who should have followed him and honored him as per the rules of conduct that humanity had lived by, he was not going to lose his calm. They had left him out and they shall suffer. As for this man who could not be bought over to his side through emotions. He said, "I am a king level powerhouse. You might not believe it but your sage who is sleeping should have already detected me. The emperor should have known by now. For now, I need money. A lot of money. And essence energy is what I sell for it. I sell the highest kind of essence food, which is the essence water. You should understand that essence water is the most easiest absorbable food and the fastest one at it."
Ponus nodded and said, "I will buy it. Not only me, but many more will. I would like to gift you a new mount as you are a strongman." even if Dominic had lied, he was still a certified archlord. "I heard that you are still riding a horse whom you had strengthened using magical energy ever since you killed the unicorn for daring to ask you to take care of it. I have a tricorn with me who has the bloodline of the tricorn king. It should be more inline with your standard."
Dominic smiled slightly. He had taken care of that horse since it was a foal as he loved it. It had never asked for it. Ever since they signed a contract, it had came closer to him as he had signed the equality contract. It fought for him and fought alongside him. It took risk for him. It was willing to walk away when the unicorn came as it wanted him to be happy and when he got angry at the unicorn, the horse git the unicorn first to take out his anger. If he had no method to strengthen it, it may have been given a retirement house where he could only visit every once in a while. But since he can, it shall be his only mount.
He smiled at the man who thought that what he was doing was for him. He said, "Go to the area for the mounts. You will see who is the king among them."
He then turned and said, "I am leaving. Send me the amount of essence water you want. There is no need to keep up with me as I shall enjoy the party as an ordinary attendee. Today is the your daughter's day. Go and be there for her."
He then walked inside the hall, leaving behind Ponus.
