Kanak had been pushing So-Min away for weeks, not caring about his feelings or concerns. But one day, her carefree attitude almost got her killed.
As she was roaming with her friends, agency goons kidnapped her and took her to their lab. So-Min was frantic when he found out, using all his resources and power to track her down.
He finally found the lab and burst in, fighting off the goons with a fierce determination. Kanak was shocked to see him, relief washing over her as he saved her from the clutches of the agency.
As they drove away from the lab, So-Min was seething with anger. Kanak, realizing her mistake, begged for mercy. "So-Min, please forgive me. I was wrong to ignore your warnings and push you away."
But So-Min didn't say a word. He just kept driving, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.
When they got home, Kanak tried to talk to him, but he ignored her. She realized that she had hurt him deeply and that he needed time to process his emotions.
As the night wore on, Kanak decided to sleep on the couch, feeling unworthy of So-Min's forgiveness. But as she drifted off to sleep, she felt a gentle tug on her arm.
So-Min had come into the room, his eyes filled with a deep sadness. He lifted her into his arms and carried her to her bedroom, laying her down on the bed.
As he looked at her, his eyes filled with a mix of anger, hurt, and love. He whispered, "Why do you always have to learn the hard way, Kanak?"
And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving Kanak to ponder the depth of his emotions.
As So-Min lay in his own bed, he couldn't shake off the image of Kanak's frightened face in the lab. He thought about how he had almost lost her, and his heart ached with the thought.
"Why do I always have to save you, Kanak?" he whispered into the darkness. "Why can't you just listen to me and stay safe?"
As he drifted off to sleep, he knew that he would always be there to protect Kanak, no matter how much she pushed him away.
