With everyone gone, Liam could finally get some rest and relax. He enjoyed the time he spent with Stacy and her friends, and he doesn't regret inviting them over.
They once again proved to him that they are good people and they are worth being friends with.
Naturally, he noticed the curiosity they had towards him but he also loved the fact that they didn't pry. When they saw that he wasn't giving them any answer, they steered the conversation to something casual.
As for Stacy, Liam has no idea how his relationship with her would be going forward because of him revealing to her that he went to the same school and was in the same class as her, but he felt that it won't change much.
He was sure that she would investigate to confirm if what he said was true. But Liam doesn't mind. Nothing changed after she confirms it. It might change her attitude towards him. Probably. But that's of little concern to him.
It's not like he likes her or anything. Besides wanting to be friends with her, he doesn't want anything else from her.
Then there's question of how he as someone who came from a modest background was able to attend the same school as Stacy.
Well, the reason was because his mom was working as a househelp for one particularly rich family.
Funny enough, the man his mother married was the eldest son of her employer.
Actually, thinking back to it, Liam remembered something and he couldn't help but find his mother's action of marrying that person quite suspicious.
If he remembered correctly, two weeks before his dad left, the person would always come to drop off his mom in his car. But he would park at the entrance and a few minutes would pass before his mom step out with a smile.
Was she...? No, she didn't... But that could be the only explanation for everything.
Liam sighed as he pushed the thoughts out from his mind. The past was the past. Dwelling on it won't change anything.
The night is still young. Might as well do something to pass the time. Should I continue the series I was watching or play some games?
He thought about it and finally decided on gaming for the night.

Meanwhile, as Stacy and her friends were arriving home, they were immediately bombarded with questions by parents and family members.
Their questions were naturally about Liam, what they were about to find out from him, what sort of person he is and a couple of other things.
The kids were overwhelmed at first but they quickly adjusted and smiled, as they tool their seats and started telling their parents what they knew about Liam.
Naturally, there was nothing much to say. Their parents had already investigated Liam's background and found nothing relates to his "actual" identity. All they found was that he was the child of two ordinary people who abandoned him at quite an early age and since then, he had to start working for himself.
But how could they simply believe that those two ordinary people are Liam's actual parents and his background was so simple? If so, then how was he able to buy such a property from the original owner?
It was impossible for him to be into something illegal as flags would had already been raised when he bought the house. But nothing has happened so far and it doesn't look like it would happen in the future.
And so, they didn't believe it literally but instead, interpreted it to fit their own narrative—what they wanted to believe. The only explanation that was more believable to them.
What they interpreted Liam's identity and background to was that he was from a very powerful family. The two individuals called his parents are actually staffs from that family tasked to watch over him while he grew up.
They didn't abandon him but actually left him to grow up and temper himself by experiencing the world. And when the higher ups in the family felt that he had qualified, he started by giving him a little bit of money, the car and the penthouse. Then everything else followed and now it's the mansion.
To them, this was the only plausible explanation. It made far more sense than him being a nobody. Far better sense.
This was only for those who knew that Liam is the mysterious buyer of the property. As for those that has no idea, he would still keep being that mysterious buyer.

The next morning, Liam woke up feeling quite refreshed. With the usual, bright morning smile on his face, he got into a sitting position on the bed and did his daily ritual.
"System sign-in."
[Congratulations, Host. You received $15 million.]
[You received 0.02% of JP Morgan shares.]
Huh?
Liam was little taken aback by the reward. Even though the World-Class Etiquette skill was helping him, he couldn't control his emotions when he saw how he received in cash reward.
A whopping $15m!!!
Just this alone was enough to widen his smile and make it brighter, and increase the glow of his face.
"$15m??? This..." Liam was short for words.
His phone buzzed and he saw the credit alert of the amount being deposited into his account, increasing his balance to a staggering $23m!
"Wow!" He muttered in shock.
He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, trying to calm down his emotions. He succeeded and he turned his attention to the second reward.
"0.02% of JP Morgan? Is that a lot or too much?" He asked with an incredulous look.
He immediately went on the internet to check the current stock price of JP Morgan and its market cap.
"Stock price is $289 and its market cap is $801b."
Using the data he got, he did his calculations and he found out how much his 0.02% shares is worth.
$160m!!!
"Wait a minute. Is this for real?" He asked himself, as he did the calculation again to confirm but he still got the same result.
Wanting to confirm for the final time, he inputed the data into a AI chatbot but he got the same result.
$160m...
This was a huge amount even for Liam. As far as he remember, the most valuable asset he has is the mansion with its value of more than $70m.
But he now has something with more than double its value.
"The system really wasn't joking by its name and when it said that it intends to make me the wealthiest person in the world," Liam smiled to himself.
He really didn't expect to receive such a reward during his daily sign-in. Now, be couldn't help but be curious about his second weekly sign-in rewards and his first monthly sign-in rewards.
"Life's good," Liam smiled from ear to ear.
With the shares, he now has another source of passive income.
He was still thinking of the amount he would receive in the future as dividend, when his phone started ringing. He took a look at it and he saw that it was an unknown number.
Strange... Who could it be? Is it one of Stacy's friends?
He hasn't saved their contacts so he has no idea if they were the one. He thought about who could be calling but when he couldn't guess who it was, he picked up the call.
