Chapter 1 - DREAMING ABOUT DREAMS

[LORD'S STADIUM – FULLY PACKED. A CRAZY SCENE. PIN DROP SILENCE...]

COMMENTATOR 1:

What a rollercoaster match! At this point, Pakistan is in a much stronger position than India.

COMMENTATOR 2:

You're right! At this crucial stage, India has very low chances to win.

Only one proper batsman left...

They still need 35 runs from 12 balls.

COMMENTATOR 3:

It's really exciting to see who will win the ICC T20 World Cup 2044!

COMMENTATOR 2:

This stadium is jam-packed with 31,000 fans. Mostly dressed in blue, but India isn't in a good position right now. Their fans may leave disappointed tonight…

COMMENTATOR 3:

Don't predict anything yet! We know what India is capable of. These next 12 balls will be thrilling to watch.

COMMENTATOR 2:

Yes, of course! Let's see who celebrates tonight!

CROWD:

🇮🇳 INDIA! INDIA! INDIA! 🇮🇳

COMMENTATOR 1:

The whole crowd is standing and watching with bated breath!

[PAKISTAN CAPTAIN KHALID ZAZAI is seen talking to his bowler. Nijat Khan is ready to bowl the second last over.]**

INDIA NEED 35 FROM 12 BALLS

OVER 18 – Bowler: NIJAT KHAN

18.1 – Nijat to Ajjay – Dot Ball

Perfect yorker! The batsman has no answer.

India: 148/7

Now 11 balls, 35 runs needed.

COMMENTATOR 3:

Ajjay Pawar doesn't look worried. He has confidence in his strength.

18.2 – Nijat to Ajjay – SIX!

COMMENTATOR 2:

Is that six? YES, it is!

Crazy scenes at Lord's! Zazai almost pulled off a miracle catch at the boundary, but his foot touched the ad board. That could've been a match-turning moment. Instead, it's six runs!

Ajjay created room and smashed it!

18.3 – Nijat to Ajjay – 1 run

COMMENTATOR 2:

Back of a length, punched to long-on. Just a single.

18.4 – Nijat to Shivam – 1 run

COMMENTATOR 1:

Slower ball, hauled away to deep midwicket. Amir fields well.

18.5 – Nijat to Ajjay – FOUR!

COMMENTATOR 3:

Hammered straight down the ground! Beautiful shot!

18.6 – Nijat to Ajjay – 1 run

COMMENTATOR 3:

India score 13 runs in this over.

They now need 22 runs from 6 balls!

[Crowd roaring louder!]

Indian water boy runs onto the field.

Pakistan captain setting the field carefully...

FINAL OVER – Bowler: SAYAED AMIR

COMMENTATOR 2:

Sayaed is a dangerous death-over bowler. Ajjay needs to take calculated risks now – it's do or die.

19.1 – Sayaed to Ajjay – SIX!

COMMENTATOR 1:

Full and fast, Ajjay dances down the track and launches it over long-on! What a start to the final over!

India now need 16 from 5 balls

19.2 – Sayaed to Ajjay – FOUR!

COMMENTATOR 2:

Tried a yorker, ended up a full toss – lucky edge over short fine leg! Ajjay survives – and thrives!

CROWD CHANTING:

🔥 AJJAY! AJJAY! AJJAY! 🔥

12 runs from 4 balls

19.3 – Sayaed to Ajjay – 1 run (Run out at non-striker's end)

COMMENTATOR 3:

Perfect yorker! Ajjay wanted two, but Shivam is run out.

Good call – at least Ajjay keeps the strike!

India need 11 from 3 balls

19.4 – Sayaed to Ajjay – Dot Ball!

COMMENTATOR 2:

Wide yorker! Ajjay thought it might be called wide – but umpire says no!

This could be the turning point!

COMMENTATOR 1:

If Sayaed doesn't leak extras, Pakistan might take this home.

[Indian fans looking tense… hands joined in prayer.]

19.5 – Sayaed to Ajjay – WIDE!

COMMENTATOR 3:

Whoa! What a game! Another wide attempt goes wrong!

India now need 10 from 3 balls

Pakistan changes the field – no long-off or long-on – looks like they're going for a bouncer plan.

19.5 (actual delivery) – Sayaed to Ajjay – FOUR!

COMMENTATOR 2:

Bouncer! Ajjay plays a tennis-style shot over mid-off – FOUR!

What a strike!

India need 6 from 1 ball

Crowd going WILD!!

Pakistan pushes every fielder to the boundary. Final ball.

19.6 – Sayaed to Ajjay...

Runs in. It's a slower bouncer, outside off... very hard to hit a six...

Ajjay watches it… waits… connects it high… LONG ON BOUNDARY… THE BALL IS IN THE AIR… IT'S GOING…

SUDDENLY…!!!

A voice echoes...

MOM:

"WAKE UP NOW!! YOU'RE GETTING LATE FOR COLLEGE, AJJAY!!"

AJJAY slowly opens his eyes…

Looks up...

Sees his mom's face

SHOCKED. 😱

It was all just a dream...
