"Ding! Ding! Ding!" my alarm ringing as usual.
Opening my eyes, I felt my body was as same as yesterday and all I did was get off the bed.
Walking to the washroom and cleaning my face, I took off my top pajamas and started to give a normal squat exercise.
I felt a surge of energy rumbling for more and did up to fifty today as I would usually stop at twenty.
I then moved on to give twenty pushups and crouch to keep my body in shape, which after I felt my body muscle hard with a slight pain a touch to it.
This was something I found to be beneficial as I walked into the washroom and took a warm bath before dressing up for lectures.
Grabbing my bag to the side, I noticed the necklace on the table and picked it up to hand over to Nirra. Moving out of my room and shutting the door behind closed as I locked it.
Just as I locked it, I noticed a silhouette behind me as I quickly turned to check it was and just as expected.
It was Nirra who stood there like a kid ready to play and without much effort she greeted "Good morning, Rio. We meet again like I said yesterday and how was your night".
The tense approach of her delightful face draw closer as she spoke those words and seeing her getting more closer mad me nervous as I pushed myself backwards as my body rested on my locked door.
Just as I was wondering what to say, my attention turned to the necklace in my left hand and quickly I said "You forgot to take this yesterday and here you go. Anyway, good morning" as I hand her the necklace.
Nirra grateful took it saying "Thank you, I'm happy you gave it back" and immediately I shifted her aside as I head down the building.
She also followed behind as her happy face intensifies every time I our eye met each other.
On the street I stopped and turned to question her why she was following me when she could just pick a car, which she replied "I don't have money and I prefer to be around you since we are friends now" with a glimmer of joy but I want not taking that as I said "We are not friends and for your safety, you should stay away from me".
The words run out as cold and icy with a slower pace that hit word by word but in her eyes, she still had the joyful expression and she smoothly replied "Whether bad or good, I will always follow you and still see you as a friend" as she played with her hair.
Seeing it was like she didn't just want to back out any time soon, I decided to walk at my own pace to the campus and leaving her to follow as her breath were heavy when we reached.
At the path where we will both part ways to our class, she stopped me on my track and pulled out a food box from her side bag that she carried.
Looking at her in confusion and wondering what she was about to do with the food box, she stretched the food box to me and said "I made this for you as a gift for saving me and also as a sign of our friendship, so please accept this" drawing the food box closer.
It was like a blow in my face as I watch the food box with emptiness and glare back at her.
Without any reason or questions, I declined the gift turning away to my department as I didn't turn back to check if she was following me or not.
Just as I finally arrived at the door into my class and turned to check around, I noticed eyes of passby glaring at me like they had never seen me before and not interested in getting attention I slowly opened the door as I entered the room
Mr Kelly who was lecturing or teaching the class turn his attention to me and watch as I walked to a seat at the back taking a seat.
His stir was drowned to as he continued to teach and for the first time since this semester started he didn't asked me out now seek to know who I was.
As the period moved on smoothly till the time Mr Kelly asked the Class Rep to follow him to his office, I noticed something had changed in the school system as I checked my phone to see what it was.
It was a shock to realize what I saw as the lectures were now having an hour break before continuing to the end of the day. This 7 hours lessons a day each have finally turned to 6 hours with 3 hours for the first session then an hour break before the rest 3 hours.
Just as I was done checking, classmate approach me and asked "Who the hell are you and what are you doing in this. I haven't seen your kind around our class before" but I kept silent.
Not ready to chat with anyone nor force them to remember him, I turned my attention to my phone and started reading the recent slides sent by the lecturers. I didn't even bother to turn back to the guy who was covered in annoyance and just as he kept demanding to know who I was, the class attention fell on us and making the thugs in the class approach me.
They asked "As you going to answer the question or you want to experience what happens to strangers who enters our class" as they ready to play bad with me but I was still not a bitch touched.
Immediately, the back door was opened as someone entered and there it was Nirra holding the same food box. she walked to the side of me as the thugs gave way to her as the distance themselves for some reasons.
I was not sure her identity but as my ears fell on what she said "Rio, this is my gift I specifically made for you and I don't want it to go to waste so please take it" and without much time she placed it right in front of me.
Paying less attention to her, I didn't say a word to her until she left and leaving everyone to start murmuring.
I didn't even turn to watch anyone as the talked and soon I got up from my seat heading out. Walking to a vending machine and buying a drink, I took one sip after another until the drink was finished. Then I had back to the class as lectures continued until the day ended and we all despised.
At the campus gate, Nirra was waiting for me and without hearing her out, I pulled out the food box from my bag. Handing it over to her as she took it and realizing I didn't touch the content in it, I hurried back to my apartment as she tried to talk with me but I didn't want anything to do with her so she couldn't get the chance.
Having eaten the whole day, I ordered food online and received it.
