Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 Peter’s New Suit

Chapter 11

"Hello, you must be Happy?" Peter came downstairs and saw a luxury car parked at the entrance. Through the window, he could see a chubby man sitting in the driver's seat, but no sign of Iron Man.

The chubby man glanced at him and nodded.

The car door clicked open.

"Get in, Mr. Parker."

"Oh, okay. Where are we going?" Peter asked as he settled into the back seat.

A lot of things hadn't been clarified that morning, as Iron Man had been in a rush and hadn't told him much.

"Didn't Tony tell you? You're going to Hans Country."

"Huh?" Peter was stunned. "Why Hans Country? Isn't it within the U.S.?"

"Of course not. It's Hans Country. You didn't know?" Happy said without turning his head, his brisk manner contrasting sharply with his appearance. As he spoke, he started the car and merged into traffic.

"Who would've thought we're going to Hans Country… I don't even have a passport!" Peter said, exasperated.

"Oh, don't worry about that. It's been taken care of." Happy reached over with one hand, pulled a bag from beside the driver's seat, and tossed it to Peter.

Peter caught the bag and looked inside, finding his passport.

But he had never given Iron Man any photos or anything.

Okay, he shouldn't ask such a silly question.

It was Iron Man, after all. This kind of efficiency wasn't surprising.

Still, it gave Peter a strange feeling of being swept along.

It felt odd.

Not exactly pleasant.

Because he didn't like this feeling of being controlled.

Especially by a capitalist.

Okay, maybe he was being a bit oversensitive.

After all, the other party was helping him avoid a lot of trouble.

The car soon stopped at the airport, and Peter saw a private plane.

He had seen this plane on social media. It was said to cost several billion and was Tony Stark's private jet.

That made sense.

Although he had plenty of Iron Man suits, no one would enjoy flying around in a suit all the time.

More often, Iron Man would appear in regular attire, like he did that morning.

After the car stopped, Peter saw Happy take a silver suitcase from the trunk and walk toward the private plane without saying anything to him.

Though Happy didn't say it out loud, he had a slight prejudice against Peter.

After all, Peter looked like just a teenage kid—and he was, in terms of age.

While it might seem like judging by appearances, Happy genuinely thought Peter couldn't be of much help to Tony.

Peter didn't mind, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and quickly followed Happy's footsteps.

Once on the plane, the luxurious interior left Peter in awe.

The plane didn't even have a pilot—it was a fully autonomous smart aircraft.

Well, that made sense. Besides his suits, Tony Stark was best known for his artificial intelligence.

Making a plane fly autonomously was a piece of cake.

The only downside was the lack of pretty flight attendants.

Didn't they say private planes always came with beautiful flight attendants? Why didn't this one have any?

Peter was greatly disappointed.

Being a teenager at heart, once on the plane, Peter was like a curious child, touching this and looking at that.

Meanwhile, Happy, after stowing the suitcase, found a seat and sat down.

Peter, following his lead, sat down across from him.

Happy, who had just closed his eyes, opened them again. "You're sitting here?"

"Uh, is that not okay?" Peter asked, puzzled.

"Is this your first time on a private plane?"

"It's my first time on any plane!"

Happy: …Even if it's your first time on a plane, can't you see all these other seats? Why sit right in front of me?

Annoyed by Peter's chatter, Happy quickly got up and moved to a seat further back.

"If you're really that bored, you can check out that suitcase."

"Suitcase?"

Peter located the silver suitcase Happy had placed in the overhead compartment.

"Can I open it?"

"Yeah, yeah, it's yours. Do whatever you want with it. But I suggest you wait until the plane stabilizes to take a good look. We've got a six-hour flight—plenty of time," Happy replied.

"Oh, okay," Peter secured the compartment and sat back down obediently.

*Boom!*

The plane took off with a roar.

Being his first time flying, combined with senses dozens of times sharper than a normal person's, Peter was scared pale.

It felt like an earthquake, a volcanic eruption, a tsunami, or an angry Aunt May—scratch that last one.

In short, it was terrifying.

It wasn't until the plane reached the stratosphere and stopped vibrating that Peter's senses gradually returned to normal.

"Phew, flying is scary~"

Peter was still shaken, the sensation reminding him of when he first gained his abilities.

One morning, he woke up to find his senses had become strange. Lying in his room, he could hear the sound of someone jogging on the street outside, the buzzing of a mosquito's wings on the roof, and the flow of water in the pipes…

His sensory world had become incredibly complex and vivid in an instant.

The flood of information nearly broke him!

He quickly hid under his blanket, closed his eyes, and took a long time to recover.

That day, he was late for school.

*Huff—*

Peter exhaled heavily, stood up, and took the suitcase from the overhead compartment.

With a gentle press, the suitcase opened.

Immediately, a sleek red-and-blue suit appeared before Peter's eyes.

This red-and-blue Spider-Man suit was made of some unknown nanocomposite material, with a fine texture and high-quality craftsmanship. Its design was incredibly cool.

Compared to Peter's homemade "baby pajamas," or even the Shadow Spider-Man suit he had previously thought was pretty good, this suit was far superior.

"This, this is really for me?" Peter could hardly believe it.

"Yes, it's for you. The bathroom's in the back. If you want to try it on, go ahead," Happy said grumpily. "Now, can you keep it down? Don't disturb my sleep. I haven't closed my eyes in almost sixteen hours."

"Oh, okay, Mr. Happy."

Peter took the red-and-blue Spider-Man suit from the suitcase and tiptoed past Happy to the bathroom in the back.

The suit was easier to put on than he had imagined.

Once he slipped it on and pressed the spider emblem on the chest, it instantly contracted to fit his body perfectly.

Peter tried moving around in place and found it incredibly smooth.

He discovered that the suit not only didn't restrict his movements but actually enhanced them positively.

This was just too awesome!

For the next few hours on the flight to Berlin, Peter wore the suit, leaping and swinging around the cabin.

Thankfully, he remembered Happy's request. Despite his big movements, he kept the noise surprisingly low, managing not to wake Happy up!

And so, the plane finally arrived in Berlin.
