The episode opens on the razor's edge of tension. KAELEN's challenge hangs in the air. THE CURATOR's charming smile has vanished, replaced by a look of cold, reptilian fury.
> A bold move. A foolish one.
He subtly signals his guards. But it's too late. Kaelen's challenge was the signal.
JULIAN acts. With a primal roar, he shoves the massive, obsidian poker table, sending it crashing into the first two guards. It's the perfect, chaotic diversion.
> (into her earpiece)
> Now, Kenji! Now!
INT. HIGH-TECH BASE, SWISS ALPS - CONTINUOUS
KENJI and LEO's fingers fly. On their screen, a countdown appears: 10 SECONDS. They activate their backdoor.
> The vault is open! Go!
INT. THE CURATOR'S PENTHOUSE SUITE - NIGHT
Across the room, a section of a marble wall slides open, revealing the gleaming, chrome vault. The heist is on.
The room erupts into a firefight. The Curator's elite mercenaries open fire. Kaelen moves with a supernatural grace, her Temporal Sight a web of light showing her the paths of incoming bullets. She uses the "magic gun" not to attack, but to create opportunities—a kinetic pulse shatters a glass sculpture, creating a cloud of glittering dust for cover; a stun pulse disorients a guard just long enough for Julian to disarm him.
She makes a desperate sprint for the vault.
THE CONFRONTATION: JULIAN VS. ANJA
As Kaelen reaches the vault, Julian is intercepted. ANJA VOGEL moves with a cold, brutal efficiency, her fighting style the mirror image of his own. Their long-awaited confrontation is not a flashy duel; it's a grim, painful, hand-to-hand struggle between two master soldiers.
They trade blows, each anticipating the other's moves. It's a dance of violence, a physical manifestation of their ideological war. Anja fights to contain the chaos she despises. Julian fights to protect the family he has found.
The fight culminates with Julian gaining the upper hand. He has Anja pinned, a combat knife to her throat. Her cold eyes stare up at him, defiant even in defeat. This is the moment. The chance to end a threat, to get revenge for years of being hunted.
He sees the ghost of Elias, the boy he was forced to kill. He sees the darkness he has been fighting within himself.
He makes a choice.
Instead of delivering the final blow, he uses the hilt of his knife to strike a precise nerve cluster on her neck. Anja's eyes go wide with shock as her body goes limp, temporarily paralyzed. He has chosen mercy over vengeance.

He leaves her there, defeated but alive, and turns back to the fight.
THE ESCAPE
Kaelen snatches the datadrive containing the Prometheus Engine schematics from the vault just as the ten-second window closes. The team fights their way out of the penthouse and onto the casino's private helipad, a storm of bullets and plasma bolts chasing them.
They make a daring escape in a stolen helicopter, lifting off into the night sky as The Curator's island shrinks below them. For a moment, they have won. They have the key to saving Kian.
THE FINAL SCENE: THE DRAGON'S WRATH
The final scene cuts back to the penthouse suite. The Curator stands amidst the wreckage, his face a mask of cold, controlled fury. He looks at the defeated, recovering Anja Vogel.
> They took my property. They embarrassed me in my own home. They think they have won.
He walks over to a secure communications console.
> But the most valuable part of any collection is its story. And their story is about to have a very tragic ending.
He makes two calls.
* CUT TO: PROJECT STYX HEADQUARTERS. GENERAL MARCUS THORNE receives an anonymous, encrypted data burst. It contains everything: Kaelen's real identity, Julian's military history, Leo's location, and the last known heading of their stolen helicopter. A message appears on the screen: "A gift. From a concerned citizen." The General's face hardens. The hunt is now personal, and he has a target.
* CUT TO: A CULT OF KIAN HIDEOUT. A fanatical lieutenant of JAX receives the same data burst. He sees the faces of the "heretics" who are "holding their god captive." He issues a global call to action to their millions of followers: "Find them. Find the blasphemers."
The episode ends with a shot of the team's helicopter flying over the dark, open ocean. They feel a moment of relief, of victory. They are completely unaware that the world's largest military task force and a global religious cult have just been given their names, their faces, and their location.
The game is over. The global manhunt has just begun.
