Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Achieving the Goal

"Too bad, it was just a little short."

Reddy controlled the two clones to walk into the cabinet and close the door, feeling somewhat regretful.

Indigo once again stepped forward to strongly oppose, and Golden Lion Shiki ultimately did not provide his own blood.

However, after careful consideration, Reddy found it reasonable.

Indigo had been with Golden Lion Shiki for over a decade, leading the Violent Beast Army Project.

In Golden Lion Shiki's mind, Reddy would need to present something more enticing to truly shake Indigo's position.

"Then let's go all out this time."

Reddy thought to himself and summoned the panel, his gaze falling on the energy reserves in the upper right corner.

[Energy Reserves: 2,000,000+ points]

For over a month, Reddy had focused solely on hunting sea kings that provided abundant energy, completely freeing himself from the days when he had to meticulously calculate every point just to create two clones.

Now he could go all out without restraint.

Reddy carefully considered his plan.

He was determined to obtain Golden Lion Shiki's genetic sample, so he needed to create something impressive enough to convince him.

"Let's use you."

Reddy accessed the gene bank, extracted a sea king's genetic sample, and sent it to the gene editing lab for fragment extraction.

Then, using Bill's genes as a template, he embedded the sea king's gene fragments and sent them to the gene analysis lab for decoding.

[Gene Rating: LV11]

Creating a clone with LV11 genes required 102,400 energy points.

In the past, Reddy could never afford such a high-stakes game, but now, with over two million energy points in reserve, this expense left him unfazed.

The clone was completed.

A chip was implanted.

Reddy spent another 102,400 points to enhance the clone to its limit.

When the clone stood before him, he nodded in satisfaction.

The clone looked almost identical to Bill, only about two centimeters taller and slightly broader in build.

But Reddy knew this clone's strength far surpassed the original.

After all, it incorporated sea king gene fragments, greatly enhancing its physique and power.

Though it hadn't mastered Haki yet, its strength was already comparable to a Marine Rear Admiral.

Reddy stored the clone in the finished product warehouse, a faint smile on his lips as he murmured, "The time to leave the Floating Islands is approaching. Let's try to extract as much energy as possible before then."

...

Bill suddenly realized his workload had at least doubled.

Every day, the kitchen required over twenty chefs working from morning till night just to meet the demands of the lab.

And since Reddy specifically requested sea kings, the Flying Pirates had to frequently hunt them down to fulfill his needs.

"Has Kami-sama already created a new bio-weapon?"

Bill was both shocked and excited.

He still vividly remembered Reddy's public lecture over a month ago.

Half a year passed in the blink of an eye.

One day, Bill received a summons from the lab and hurried over.

The lab door opened.

Reddy walked out, followed by someone.

When Bill saw the person behind Reddy, his eyes widened.

That was unmistakably himself.

"Follow me."

Reddy called out, hands in his coat pockets as he walked toward the courtyard.

At that moment, the opposite lab door opened, and Indigo stepped out, scrutinizing Bill and the clone before sneering, "Is this your latest creation? It looks quite ordinary."

Bill was furious, veins bulging on his forehead, but the psychological trauma Golden Lion Shiki had inflicted forced him to hold back.

Reddy stopped and turned with a smile, "Would you like to witness a miracle?"

"Not just me. I'll make sure everyone sees your true nature."

Indigo gritted his teeth, pulling out a Den Den Mushi from his pocket. He exaggeratedly described Reddy's latest creation and requested Golden Lion Shiki to hold a public demonstration.

"Without that special culture medium, I refuse to believe you could create a powerful bio-weapon in just half a year!"

...

Half an hour later.

The courtyard was packed.

Most of the Flying Pirates had crowded in, leaving no space to move.

Reddy had always stayed in the lab, never stepping outside, so they only knew this new executive had an unusual craving for sea king meat.

To hunt enough sea kings, many had died over the past six months.

So they were extremely curious about what kind of creation this eccentric man would present.

"Gyahahahaha… Let's begin. I can't wait to see your latest masterpiece." Golden Lion Shiki laughed, puffing on his cigar as he eagerly watched Reddy and the clone standing in the open space.

"Hey, you. Help me out."

Reddy beckoned Bill, signaling him to stand opposite the clone.

Though confused, Bill obeyed his god's command and stood a few meters away from the clone.

"First, demonstrate your combat skills." Reddy instructed.

Bill paused, then turned to the Grizzly Bear Pirates in the crowd and gestured for them to fetch his war hammer.

Soon, four Grizzly Bear Pirates members carried a massive hammer back to the courtyard.

Bill took the hammer with one hand, casually swinging it, immediately drawing gasps from the other pirates.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Bill's combat skills were average, but his destructive power was immense. The courtyard was soon riddled with craters and spiderweb-like cracks.

"Gyahahahaha!"

Golden Lion Shiki roared with laughter, flicking cigar ash, clearly pleased with Bill's strength.

Though far inferior to himself, Bill's power was above average in Paradise.

Such strength was rare in East Blue.

Reddy then ordered, "Throw your hammer to him."

Bill hesitated but stepped forward and tossed the hammer to the clone two meters away.

The clone caught it one-handed and replicated Bill's destructive display, but with twice the impact.

After two rounds of devastation, the courtyard was completely ruined.

But no one cared.

Everyone, including Golden Lion Shiki, was utterly captivated by the clone's overwhelming power.

Before this, no one believed such terrifying learning ability existed, but now they did.

It was a matter of ingrained thinking.

Half a year ago, Reddy had emphasized that his ideal bio-weapon possessed extraordinary learning abilities, and over time, the entire crew had come to accept this idea.

Reddy had also cleverly chosen Bill, a strength-focused fighter, as the template.

As long as physical power was sufficient, imitation wasn't difficult.

Reddy smirked slightly and commanded, "Find a suitable weapon and fight him."

"No need. I'll test his strength myself."

Golden Lion Shiki soared into the air, launching a slash with his right leg.

The clone emotionlessly dodged sideways.

A trench split the ground as the clone swung the massive hammer with full force, generating a fierce gale toward Golden Lion Shiki.

How strong!

Bill and the other pirates gasped in shock.

Indigo bit his sleeve furiously, inwardly screaming, "I refuse to believe he created such a powerful bio-weapon in just half a year!"

"Gyahahahaha!"

Golden Lion Shiki laughed, slicing the gale in half with another slash, dispersing it completely. He then dove down, engaging the clone in battle.

Before long, Golden Lion Shiki blocked a heavy strike with his right leg and retreated.

Reddy promptly halted the clone.

Hovering mid-air, Golden Lion Shiki spread his arms and declared, "If you want my blood, then take it! As long as you create an invincible army for me!"

Reddy smiled faintly, giving a courteous bow. "If we acquire the Germa Kingdom's soldier production line, along with my secret formula, I can deliver an invincible army within a year at most."
