Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – Dojo of Limits

Chapter 4 – Dojo of Limits

The Dojo of Limits – Zhi-An District Branch.

A wide, steel-reinforced complex built to handle monstrous strength. Inside, the echo of fists striking sandbags, the sharp claps of wooden weapons, and grunts of exertion filled the air.

This was where warriors were born.

Luo Feng stepped inside, carrying his sports bag, his eyes clear and sharp.

Not far behind him, Luo Chen entered quietly, his presence going unnoticed by most. He wasn't wearing the elite dojo student badge like Luo Feng — yet.

He didn't need it.

Luo Chen moved toward a quiet corner, pulled out his towel, and began warm-up motions — slow, precise, efficient.

He wasn't there to attract attention.

He was there to learn — and maybe, just maybe, leave a hint of what was to come.

---

Luo Feng approached the sparring ring, where Instructor Wu Tong stood, clipboard in hand, barking instructions.

The muscular, sharp-eyed instructor spotted Luo Feng instantly.

"Luo Feng, come."

"Yes, Instructor."

Wu Tong led him to a reinforced alloy testing machine in the corner — a vertical column marked with sensors.

"Let's see how your power's improved since last month."

Luo Feng took a breath. Stepped up. Clenched his fists.

Boom!

His right fist smashed into the pad. The machine shook slightly. The numbers lit up:

"Power Output: 905 kg"

The crowd of students nearby let out murmurs of admiration.

"Damn, almost hitting 1,000 kg already…"

"He's gonna pass the Fighter combat exam for sure."

Wu Tong's eyes gleamed with satisfaction.

"Good. Very good. Your strength is rising fast — you're almost at the threshold for an elementary Fighter. One more month of work, and you'll be ready."

"Yes, Instructor!" Luo Feng smiled.

Behind the crowd, Luo Chen quietly watched.

He saw more than just numbers.

He saw the flow of energy through Luo Feng's shoulder rotation, the misalignment of his elbow during the follow-through, and the angle of impact against the alloy plate.

'Not bad,' Luo Chen thought.

But Luo Feng was still training in Earth-grade martial techniques.

Luo Chen, meanwhile, had already started studying God King-level techniques within his mind's sea of consciousness — visualizing abstract, multidimensional force patterns that would take normal people decades to even comprehend.

---

After the test, Wu Tong glanced at the observing students.

"You all saw that, right? That's the result of persistence, smart training, and talent. Don't just train your muscles — train your technique and mind too."

He turned slightly. "Luo Chen, step forward."

Several heads turned.

"Luo Chen? He doesn't even have the advanced student badge…"

Luo Chen calmly stepped up.

Wu Tong handed him a wooden training blade. "I've seen your sparring form in the recordings. Try this form — Basic Blade Slash. Let me see your foundation."

Luo Chen nodded.

He stepped into position. Held the blade lightly.

And then—

Whoosh!

The wooden blade cut through the air with perfect form.

Smooth. Silent. Lethal.

Wu Tong's eyes narrowed. So did several others.

Luo Chen executed the motion again. And again. Each strike perfectly aligned with the training diagram — yet with a strange fluidity that made the movement look almost… natural.

Wu Tong crossed his arms. "Where did you learn to move like that?"

"I studied the dojo manuals," Luo Chen replied.

True. But only partially.

In reality, his God King inheritance had already simulated and refined thousands of variations of the move. What he performed now wasn't just dojo-level — it was optimized form.

Wu Tong nodded slowly. "You have good instinct. Clean control. You should consider taking the advanced student exam next cycle."

"I'll think about it."

Luo Feng, watching nearby, smiled. "Chen's always been sharp."

---

Later that evening, Luo Chen sat alone in the back courtyard of the dojo.

He closed his eyes.

[Progress: 3% → 7% → 12%...]

Energy flowed through his muscles, tendons, and bones — a precise internal process invisible to all.

All around him, students were still training, laughing, shouting, hitting sandbags.

None of them noticed the calm figure in the shadows.

None of them realized that among them stood a future Sovereign.
