The story is set in a distant future, long after the age known as Skyfall— a cataclysm that changed the laws of the world.
After Skyfall, modern weapons and ammunition lost all effect against the beasts . Guns, bombs, and machines became useless where aura reigned supreme.
To survive, humanity turned back to "ancient martial traditions" and forged new weapons using "Aetherite" — a rare metal discovered after Skyfall, capable of channeling aura and cutting through the beasts' unnatural defenses.
Swords, bows, spear and daggers became humanity's primary weapons once again, reborn through advanced craftsmanship and aura-infused techniques.
Despite this return to the old ways of war, civilization itself never regressed.
Communication, education, and identity systems remain highly advanced, powered by futuristic gadgets and city-wide neural networks. The world is now governed less by nations and more by legacy families and factions, each holding influence over their own territories.
The few remaining global institutions maintain only minimal military presence — their purpose focused on universal education, healthcare, and inter-clan/guild/family communication" rather than warfare.
In this new age, strength defines order — and those who cannot fight must find their place under those who can.

World Background
After the Age of Skyfall when human civilization was nearly erased ,the world restructured under six dominant powers—"The Five Legacy Families " and the "Autonomous Military" . Together, they form the "World Council", the governing body that maintains order, trade, and survival across fractured human territories.
While the "Legacy Families "inherited power through bloodlines and ancient knowledge, the "Military" emerged as a neutral force—responsible for universal coordination, communication, and enforcement of global laws. They do not rule, but they ensure humanity's safety
The Council's military acts mainly as mediators, couriers, and administrators—overseeing "Hunter Registration" "Universal Education", and the "Hunter's Guild", which remains neutral ground for all hunters regardless of allegiance.

Tier System
Here's a short breakdown for better understanding of this novel's power structure.
In this world, human strength is measured through "Tiers " from 0 to 5 , while a few old Legacy families whisper of hidden Tier 6 and 7.
Tier 0 – Normal humans. They can't use Aura .
Tier 1 – The first awakening of Aura. Heightened senses, faster reflexes, but weak control.
Tier 2 – Aura stabilizes. Hunters start shaping it into real techniques. From here, each Tier splits into Primary ,Mid and High grades — because progress slows down sharply.
Tier 3 – The body forms an "Aura Core". Hunters learn to channel intent and presence. Beasts start forming cores too.
Tier 4– Aura and body act as one; weapons can resonate with the user's life-force.
Tier 5 - Hunters transcend mortal limits, shaping reality through will alone. Few exist.
Tier 6–7 (Classified)
Known only to the major legacy families. Beyond Tier 5, Aura no longer follows human laws—it defines them.
Hunters usually advance by consuming beast meat later beast core . It's a safer and steady progress.
Some break through in life and death battles, but that path is rare and dangerous.
After Tier 3, beasts form cores and hunters must absorb those cores to grow stronger.
