Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Avengers Summit – Friend or Foe?

---

The Avengers Tower felt heavier than ever before.

In the main conference room, the Earth's strongest defenders gathered, but for the first time, it wasn't about fighting aliens or mad titans—it was about one man.

Ron.

Tony Stark paced back and forth, arms crossed. "Alright, let's get one thing straight. Ron isn't just some meta-human gone rogue. He's an anomaly that even Doctor Strange can't classify."

Steve Rogers sat at the table, shield resting beside him. "Tony, we can't just label him a threat because we don't understand him."

Bruce Banner leaned in. "We've all seen the readings. His power doubles every second, and now he's surrounded by an infinite army of loyal, superhuman summons. One wrong move and he could wipe out everything."

Wanda sat silently, her fingers glowing faintly. "But he hasn't. That matters."

Thor entered, hammer swinging at his side. "Aye. The lad wields strength even the All-Father would envy. But he has not turned it on us."

Rhodes looked skeptical. "For how long? Power like that doesn't stay quiet forever."

Strange appeared through a portal, his cloak fluttering.

"I've spoken to him," he announced. "He's not malevolent. But his very existence is a threat to the balance. The Tribunal is watching, the Celestials are restless. We don't have the luxury of ignorance anymore."

Tony slammed a palm on the table. "So what do we do? Invite him for dinner? He has enough power to rewrite gravity as a joke!"

Steve looked around the table. "Maybe… that's exactly what we do. He's human. He's lost people. He's alone."

The room went quiet.

Then Steve continued, "If we treat him like a villain, he'll become one. But if we give him a choice… maybe he'll stand with us."

Meanwhile – Ron's Shadow Realm

A million soldiers trained in perfect unison, all wearing the same armor engraved with his symbol: ∞.

Aria approached him on the throne. "The Avengers are meeting. They know your presence is shifting the axis of the Earth."

Ron closed his eyes.

He opened his eyes. "Let them talk. I won't make the first move. But if they decide I'm an enemy—"

"You will conquer?"

"No," Ron said, standing. "I will lead."

Later that night – Stark Tower Roof

Ron descended silently from the sky, cloaked in a flowing black coat outlined in glowing white threads. He landed softly in front of Steve, Tony, and Strange.

Natasha landed beside him, having flown on one of Ron's energy platforms.

"Thanks for coming," Steve said carefully.

Ron glanced at the tower behind them. "You gathered the world's greatest weapons under one roof. That's either brave… or stupid."

Strange stepped forward. "We're not here to fight."

"Then talk."

Tony looked up. "You're a walking nuke, Ron. But you're also human. So tell us—what do you want?"

Ron paused.

Then smiled.

"I want to change the world."

Tony blinked. "Into what?"

Ron's voice echoed with something ancient.

"One where no one gets left behind. One where betrayal is punished. One where strength means protection, not destruction."

He raised his hand, and far in the distance, his summons saluted in unison.

"I will build a new Earth. You can stand beside me. Or be swept away."
