Season 1 – Arc 1: "The First Rift"
Chapter 1: The Forbidden Door
Scene: A quiet, empty forest. The sun is setting. Gentle moonlight filters through the trees. The air is strangely still.
Kaito (humming softly):
"When all doors close... one remains..."
Suddenly, a voice calls out behind him.
Reno (friend):
"Kaito! Stop right there... if you go any further, you might never come back."
Kaito (turning quickly):
"Reno? What are you doing here?"
Reno (serious):
"You weren't supposed to use that machine. I told you it was dangerous."
Kaito glances down at a strange glowing device in his hand — it pulses with a red light, like it's alive.
Kaito (angrily):
"This machine is the only thing I have left. The man who killed my family… he escaped through this. He's out there — somewhere in another universe."
A wave of red energy suddenly ripples from the device. The air bends. A swirling vortex — a portal — tears open in front of them.
Tenzo (third friend, brilliant scientist):
"The portal's opening… But listen, Kaito. In every universe, there's a different version of you. Stronger, smarter... or even more broken than you can imagine."
Kaito clenches his fists.
Kaito:
"That's why I created something new."
Kaito activates a transformation. A strange energy begins to radiate from his body — his eyes glow, a dark aura surrounds him, and strange markings crawl across his arms.
Kaito:
"My new form. For two hours, I can borrow the powers of an alternate version of myself from any universe. Whoever I need to defeat my enemies."
Reno (smirking):
"Just hope the one you connect with isn't some lazy bum who naps through battles."
A brief moment of laughter — lightening the tension for a second.
Tenzo:
"I've set the coordinates. Your first stop: the 'Madness Realm'."
The swirling portal grows louder, more violent. Wind rushes past them. Kaito looks back at his two friends.
Kaito (softly):
"Let's go."
The three of them leap into the vortex.
The screen fades to black... then fades back in — to a ruined, dark world. Buildings are twisted and upside down. People wear eerie masks. In the distance, a powerful shadow watches silently as Kaito arrives.
