They've been hunting Hidan since they set off, they've had no sleep, but they soon managed to find him with Kakuzu, as they were about to go back into hiding after their escapade.

They had finally entered an underground base, where Nagato was currently wholed up in.

They finally reached a covered up papered wall, to which Konan tore down, "Nagato!, are you here!".
The two heard coughing in the distance and they saw Nagato coughing wildly as the gedo statue was still feeding him life force.
Kuraiya thought the thing looked hideous, it reminded him of one of those fingercreeper monsters that he played in a game in his past life, minor with a face attached to it.
He instinctively shivered, because it looked like a spider upside down, he couldn't help but murmur at the moment, "damn.. that thing is disgusting".

As they came over to Nagato's side, Nagato himself finally opened his eyes, as he stared at the two in front of him, he couldn't help but give Kuraiya a deeper gaze.

She turned to Kuraiya and her anger boiled over, she saw him bobbing his head back and forth, at some point he had pulled out some headphones, as he started playing music to their reunion.

Both Nagato and Konan didn't know what to say or do at the moment, seeing Kuraiya acting all nonchalant, they decided to just finish their conversation.
"Go on.. finish with what you were going to say", Nagato broke the awkward silence permeated throughout the room and Konan could only gloat in secret, still giving Kuraiya an annoyed expression.

They were having a full on battle, Shikamaru had managed to lure Hidan away from Kakuzu side and Kakuzu was fighting with Kakashi still.
Kakashi managed to destroy two heart's, while almost losing his own in the process, "give me your heart!.. ghhuug.. what's happening?", as Kakuzu was on top of Kakashi trying to steal his heart, he felt an unbearable pain.

If Kuraiya was here, he'd probably stop in his tracks, then fly off into the cloud's laughing to himself, as to not hurt Hidan's feelings.
With Kakashi, Kakuzu collapsed onto the floor with his eyes wide open, Kakashi breathed a sigh of relief, but he remembered about the other two heart's.
He looked around and saw what he was aiming for, "damn!, don't let them get to him!", he shouted at the two standing next to him, then Kakashi froze, [ah.. I can't let Ino get injured, or else I'll probably be another secretary, there lives are miserable.], he held Ino back making sure she didn't get involved too much.
Choji, tried to take care of the rodent sized monsters, only for it to be a diversion to attack Kakashi instead, luckily he managed to dodge it's assault, but he cursed seeing them enter Kakuzu's body, "damnit, this guy just doesn't want to stay down at all", Ino let out her frustrations as she hid behind Kakashi, after watching Kakuzu standing on his feet again.
Kakuzu let out a none human screech, as he shouted at the trio, "I was originally going to just get your heart, but I've changed my mind, just die!".
As Kakuzu launched his attack towards the three who he had wrapped up in wires, a group appeared in time to save them, it was team 7.
Back to Shikamaru side, he showed a serious face at the moment, "you know, this spot, I purposely led you away from that guy, so I can personally take care of you".
"You finally stopped running away you little shit, oops.. slip of the tongue, but you are a little shit, oh.. you can still cast this ninjutsu, but you're running low on chakra, see how easy it is for me to move!", Hidan was slowly walking towards Shikamaru, just as stood over Shikamaru, and was about to cut him down with his sickle, his movements stopped.
"Huh?..", "it seems I haven't ran out of chakra after all", Shikamaru slowly stood up, as he wrapped up Hidan with wires and explosive tags.
He kept speaking to himself, as he tried to light a lighter in his hand, it finally lit up, then he exhaled while staring at the flame.
"Hey.. wait.. what are planning on doing with that, you know I can't die, it'll be useless!", Hidan screamed in fear, but it was too late, Shikamaru already threw the lighter at him, causing the tags to explode and after the explosion faded, he buried Hidan with another set of explosive tags, completely burying him in rubble.
And on Kakashi's side, they were struggling for a moment, after Naruto failed his first rasengan, but in the end he came out victorious, as he on his second try successfully took down Kakuzu, while breaking his arm.
The group all stared down at Kakuzu who was in a pit, Naruto was lying down on the ground with a smile on his face.
"Damn.. that was close.., almost missed", he chuckled before passing out, Choji and Ino ran over to Naruto to help him.
As for Kakashi he jumped down the pit, intending to fully finishing off Kakuzu, "your.. time is up".
Kakuzu slowly tried to look up at Kakashi, "damn.. too think I was beaten by mere brat's", Kakashi was about to do a speech, but Kakuzu butted in, "don't.. give me.. your sentimental.. youth speech".
Kakashi's lips twitched, [I must've taken on some of might guy's wordings, I should stay away from him for a while.], he activated his chidori, then finished off Kakuzu.

Nagato gave Kuraiya another look, who was now seen in different places in almost an instant, watching him closely examining his abode, he couldn't help but want to throw him outside.
He sighed again and he turned to Konan, "you sure know how to pick someone", a small smile appeared on his face and Konan who heard this finally turned to see what Kuraiya was doing.
Her anger flared up again and she shouted at him, "get down! And stop messing around! Aren't you man!".
