His objective: to engineer a new identity for his parents, allowing them to obtain citizenship within the coveted Altyzurian Kingdom.

However, the complexity of this challenge weighed heavily on Oruvan's mind. Unlike the familiar comforts of Earth's modern technology, this realm demanded a far more intricate approach. ...

The following morning, Elijah and I roused ourselves from slumber earlier than usual, brimming with eagerness to prepare for our imminent transition to the new dwelling. Amidst our preparations, an unexpected fervor radiated from Elijah, yet the true embodiment of excitement resided not within myself, but rather in Jake. As I awoke, my eyes beheld him busily packing an assortment of belongings intended for my new abode, a gesture made without consulting me.

An inexplicable speechlessness overcame me, though Jake's kindness and proclivity to assist were well-known attributes. Despite his well-intentioned act, I graciously declined his generosity, asserting that the items he gathered were superfluous to my needs.

Initially, he rebuffed my refusal, his persistence a testament to his generosity. However, my efforts at persuasion bore fruit, as I communicated my conviction that he had already exceeded any perceived debt owed to me. Fearing that my absence would be the consequence, he relented, retrieving his collected offerings, as I proposed an alternative means for him to be of aid.

I conveyed to him, "If you really want to help me, maybe you can give us something more useful".

Jake's expression changed.

Jake's intrigue deepened. Eagerly, he inquired, "Really? Tell me!"

Seizing the moment, I elucidated, "We are still new in this town, why don't you send us an ingredient and stock supply for us."

"All done! I will start sending it today." Jake said with excitement.

Jake ordered his butler, Byron Scott to arrange his duty to meet with all the merchants and send me stock every month for 20 people. Jake wasted no time, promptly assigning his butler, Byron Scott, the responsibility of liaising with merchants to orchestrate the regular provision of supplies for a sizable group.

However, a moment of clarity interjected my intentions, as I questioned, "Wait a sec. You want to do it forever?"

He nodded to me like it was something easy. Jake, unfazed by the prospect, affirmed, to my astonishment, "Of course!"

Apprehension briefly seized me, yet I acquiesced, recognizing the earnestness of his desire to assist. A bittersweet agreement was forged, sealing our pact for ongoing support.

"What?! I don't need your supply every month. Do you think I can't do it myself?" I was shocked.

"Shush." He hissed and put his finger on my lips. "If not, you have to bring all the things I want to give you. The choice is yours." Jake tried to negotiate with me with his threat.

I took a look at the pile of baggage that he arranged for me in front of the door, and it was all of his things.

"Sighed. Fine. You can do as you want." I reluctantly accepted his offer.

Jake looks pleasantly happy and smiles like innocent right after forcing me to affirm with what he wants. In terms of negotiating, he is really out of my league. Both come in his favor.

However, there is something that he doesn't know as I kept it a secret from him and Asvin. My latent ability for creation magic lay concealed, my potential to generate wealth and resources hidden from their perception.

Yet, amidst this negotiation, a clandestine aspect of my existence remained hidden. He didn't know that I have my creation magic that can make money for myself and he must have thought I don't have money to buy the resource. He must have thought I would have to work to earn some money and what made him pity me more is because he learned the truth that I was a son from a poor family. I think that is what makes him want to help me so much. But I guess, it is better than letting him know about my power. Jake's compassion, stemming from a belief in my financial struggle, held a certain allure, but I chose to uphold the secret, lest my powers become a focal point.

While for Byron, I already exchanged our secret together for him to keep his promise.

During our first lunch together yesterday, I had to pay for the meals that we had at the 6-star restaurant while he was an adult. He couldn't even pay as the bill was more expensive than his salary. But of course, as I treat him to dinner, I also have given him some gift for him to keep his mouth shut from telling my secret. But I already have my insurance if once he speaks about it, his mouth will be put in silence until he asks for my forgiveness, which he is already under my curse.

A spell, intended as a last resort, hovered as a safeguard against his betrayal, although I harbored hopes of maintaining his trust without invoking such measures.

But I know, he is the kind of person that would keep his promise.
