The sun was shining warm and bright, as if screaming,
"GOOD MORNING, earthly folks!"
Birds were chirping, the air was light, and everything felt pleasant—just like a typical spring morning.
Except for the constant buzz of the mobile.
Aoi woke up with a scowl, brows furrowed in annoyance, dark circles haunting her eyes. Yep! She didn't even get a wink of sleep.
Grabbing her phone, she was greeted by 51 missed calls—from her manager and other agency members—and about 121 messages.
Scratching her messy bed hair, Aoi muttered,
"What the...! Can't I even sleep peacefully?"
Her voice grew sharper,
"What about that full privacy, personal time, and freedom of choice crap... huh?"
She snapped, letting out her pent-up frustration.
Dragging herself out of bed, she guided herself through the messy house, clothes lying around on the floor. She headed for a shower, dried off, and strolled to her closet butt naked, with the attitude,
"What's the issue in being naked when I'm alone?"
Tapping her cheek with her fingertip as she scanned her closet, she mused,
"Hmmm! Guess this will make the day."
She picked a long-sleeved green T-shirt and cream-colored pants, got dressed, slipped on her shoes, picked up her phone and wallet, and stepped out of her apartment.
Inside the elevator, on the way down, her phone buzzed again.
"Bzzzz... Bzzzz..."
She looked at the screen.
Manager.
She answered the call—but didn't bother bringing the phone to her ear.
Why?
Because she already knew what was coming. After all, she just rejected the biggest movie offer of her career.
"....." Her manager shouted at her as hard as he could that were enough bore a pair of holes in one's ear.
But luckily, she was precautious.
"Got your frustration out, Mr. Kenta?" she asked flatly.
"Why the hell did you do that?!" he barked.
"You know that was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, right?!"
"So what?"
"So what, huh?! Give me a proper reason! Or I swear I'll chase you to hell. It's a lead role in Love Life of a Spy, with the top raising omega star in the country—and you REFUSED it!"
While Mr. Kenta went on his tirade, Aoi got into her car and began driving through the buzzing roads of Tokyo.
"Mr. Kenta, tell me—have I ever acted in a romantic movie?" she asked, sighing.
"No... why?"
"Because I'm not interested in pretending I love someone just for money."
"Cut the saving myself for my lover crap!" he snapped.
"You're an Alpha, a dominant one on top of it. You must've had your fair share of pleasurable nights with omegas!"
Aoi's eyes darkened for a moment.
"Nope. I'm still single and virgin." She said with pride in her tone.
"...Fine! I won't pry into your personal matters. If you really don't want to act in it, it's your choice. Just don't come crying to me later!"
"Wanna make a bet on it?" Aoi smirked.
"Well, if you're that confident, I'll leave it to you. By the way, what's your plan for the day?"
"On my way to Sasaki Motors."
"Why? You buying a car?"
"Nah. Got a promotion offer from the company. I'm gonna advertise it."
"Whaa—"
Aoi cut the call.
"Geez... He wants to know everything."
She picked up speed.
---
Aoi Seika—a beautiful, playful, unbothered Alpha of age 25,—had carved a name for herself as the Queen of Action in the film industry. With an athletic body, sharp features, waist-length brown hair, and golden eyes that glittered like real gold, she stood out in every way.
And then there was her scent—dominant mint. It could soothe and assert, sometimes at the same time.
Yep. She was a dominant Alpha woman through and through.
But the weird part?
She had never once approached an omega for pleasure.
Nakamura Kenta, a male beta in his early 40s, works at Hoshino Studio, as manager of Aoi.

Aoi arrived at Sasaki Motors, parked her car, and stepped out with her sunglasses on. She entered the building.
Staff greeted her politely, and one of them began explaining the contract.
Boring corporate stuff. The usual.
She was just about to zone out when she caught something—a faint but clear citrus scent. It made her heart tingle unexpectedly.
Her instincts responded before her mind could.
She looked around curiously, searching for the source of the scent.
"Ms. Seika! The CEO is here."
The doors opened.
A man entered. Tall, handsome, dressed in a blue formal suit. His aura was cold, calm, and unapproachable.
His black hair was neatly styled, and his blue eyes sparkled like sapphires. That same citrus scent hung lightly around him—inviting and mysterious.
He was accompanied by a woman holding a stack of papers and a muscular bodyguard in a black suit.
Yep. That was him. The CEO of Sasaki Motors.
Reiji Sasaki. A dominant omega.
Aoi's mouth fell slightly open. Her nostrils twitched, trying to take in more of that delicious scent.
She mumbled to herself,
"That's the infamous CEO of Sasaki Motors, huh? He's even prettier than the rumors... Can't believe an omega has that much aura."
