In a giant dense looking forest, a wolf-like cub ran around, under, and through many different objects trying to get away from something even they're worst nightmare couldn't make.
Only one thought on his mind.
'WHO REINCARNATES SOMEONE IN FRONT OF A DAMN DRAGON!!!!'
Yep, this wolf-like creature was a human in his last life on a planet called, Earth, but due to a death she can't remember she is now this creature.
Her current body looks like what she would combine a demon hound and a houndoom together, but shrouded in shadow color.
'WORST REINCARNATION EVER! Who puts someone into the body of a baby while making them run from a damn dragon!'
She had been running for, well she didn't know, but she would say a good few hours if time still worked similar to her past life.
As the forest started to thin, she had to skid to a stop as she came face to face with 6 people.
"Careful, the Drakon is on its way! Today we have victory and avenge the fallen! And today, we feast on Drakon!!!!"
As someone noticed her small figure watching them, someone spoke up.
"Uh sir, there is a creature watching us."
The leader turned around and eyed her suspiciously, "It's a Shadow Hound cub, it looks like it has more understanding then other ones I've seen though, interesting. Would anyone like to try and tame the cub!"
Of course, hit thoughts were mainly cause most creatures, if not all, were more so attack first then attack again later.
A woman in the back, holding what looked like a wooden branch with a blue orb, stepped forward.
"I would, my sister has one so we know a bit about taking care of tames."
The leader nodded and the woman stepped cautiously towards the cub.
'hmm she has weird floaty stuff around her, more so than the others, almost on par with that...Drakon they called it? Also tame? I guess being in this...state...I guess I can't oppose the thought, it'd be free food and a place to sleep...I hope.'
As the cub was lost in though the woman dropped to a knee and held out a hand, the leaders eyes widened.
"Hey! You know that's not how its-"
Before he could finish and to everyone's surprise, the cub rubbed its head against her palm.
The woman stood up with an almost smug smirk aimed at the leader, meanwhile something interesting happened to the cub.
[Link trying to be established to the mage known as -Lilia- allow?]
[Y/N?]
'Yes'
A second after she allowed, they both felt a link connect them, this link only allowed them to find each other, like a magic compass.
The Mage woman, Lilia, looked down at the cub.
"Well, known that the link is established, how about a name? It'll give you power a long with some cool buffs!"
The leader scoffed, "Lilia, you know animals can't understand humans, it's a well known-"
His words got cut off as the cub made a bark sort of sound and jumped around while the tail wagged happily.
The woman shot another smug smile at the leader, "Guess some creatures are just born smart, and others aren't, that or I got extremely lucky with a very smart creature."
Lilia looked at the cub, "hmm straightforward names are usually my go to, but seeing as you're my first...maybe only.. tame, let's try something else."
In the meantime, hidden in the woods with narrow eyes was the Drakon, dragon but to their world it's said as something else due to unknown reasons, the Drakon sat, waiting.
If it was older it would have unlocked the ability to speak, or in powers terms, telepathy.
Soon after a loud growl/yell was heard, and the Drakon stepped out.
"Naming later, Fighting now! Let's go pup!"
She didn't need to be told twice and followed Lilia towards the back where the other mage stood.
She noticed the sort of grouping. Two fighters, an archer, and two mages.
'sucks that I'm a creature, and a pup of all things'
She sat gloomily off to the side as not to get into the way, after only a few minutes of fighting they managed to defeat it.
'ah, so the mages go for the wings, archer the eyes, and then the fighters finish it. I mean could be better but not the worst.'
She noticed Lilia and the others begin cutting and chopping the Drakon, Lilia tossed a piece to her, which she gladly chewed on.
But something unexpected happened when she swallowed.

-Telepathy!

As she read through the small list, small changes happened, her tail grew more sturdy, her nails gained the ability to become sharper when needed, and her teeth became naturally sharper.
And then, then final piece clicked, a faint buzzing, not there but is there. She focused on Lilia, the one who tamed her, and she felt the connection fortify.
And so did Lilia.
Lilia - 'What was that'
'Sound? Voice in my head? Does that mean the telepathy worked?'
Lilia turned around as if on instinct, locked eyes with the pup, 'Is that you I hear?!'
The pup nodded, 'i think so, I mean I ate the dragon and next think I know, I'm able to connect with others minds, but only to talk mind you!'
The woman's eyes widened and a huge smile crept her face, 'No way, are you a Otherworlder?! I mean, it would explain you getting a skill from eating an animal, a few Otherworlder's had a similar thing, but anyway if you are, why are you that form and not a human?'
The pup shook her head, 'i mean, I guess you could call me that, but for as the power, I heard a voice saying I gained some skills and telepathy being one of them, and I wish I knew why I was in this form and not...like all of you'
The woman nodded her head, but before she could speak the leader spoke up, "Lilia, the hell you doin, looks like you're having a conversation with either yourself or you're tame! Sit down and eat before it cools"
The woman huffed, "For you're information, I was having a conversation with my tame! They gained the ability after eating, lehhh' she finished while sticking her tongue at him
The pup tilted her head, 'how old are you, 10?'
The woman's face went red and she said down with a soft sorry.
The leader laughed it off, "Anyway, if you're tame truly can speak or at least communicate telepathicly, that would mean he's one of them, an Otherworlder, but that's impossible"
The pup shook her fur and focused on him, upon hearing the subtle click she spoke, 'i am a she thank you very much!'
The leader looked started and swiveled around to face her, "The pup...he talked! Said it was a she!"
The pup huffed and breathed out a bit of fire by accident, 'i am a she! Oh that was fun!'
Everyone was taken aback by the face the creature breathed fire, all but one, being Lilia.
"Calm down pup, you gotta remember all Otherworlder's are human, you're the first one in a rare and unique situation."
The pup nodded, surprisingly everyone again.
"Now, how about a name, or do you have one like the others?"
The pup shook her head, 'nope, for some reason a lot of my memories are missing...that or I just forgot them completely.'
Lilia nodded, "Right, well let's pick a name shall we?"

So, first chapter of a novel done!
I am working on the Khajiit fanfic but because of life issues and family matters, things have been slow...so please forgive me.
Anyway I had a spontaneous idea to try and make an actual novel and not a fanfic!
So I'm adding a bunch of different styles from manga or anime that I enjoy!
Try to guess each style and I will tell you if you're right or wrong!
Give me names for the MC Pup!
Also names for the other party members or anyone else she meets eventually! Can even be the name you use as a username!
Anyway, be patient for the Khajiit FF, It's on its way since life is settling down.
