Chapter 251 - Chapter 57: Transfer Student

Chapter 57: Transfer Student

"Could it be that you're actually a pretty serious guy deep down?"

"Ha ha,"

Oberon returned to his gentle prince-like smile, blinking as he said with a laugh:

"No, I just want to be the supporting role of the story. I really like your kind of humor."

Huh, really?

"I see," Eikou asked curiously, "so when is the female Lancelot coming?"

"...I already said there's no female Lancelot."

"Fine then,"

Eikou asked seriously,

"Then let me ask properly, who's the transfer student this time?"

In response to that question, Oberon just smiled faintly.

"Ha ha, I was planning to tell you guys, but since you've already discussed it this much, why not leave a bit of surprise? From the information I got, the transfer student this time should get along pretty well with you guys."

"Damn, Oberon, how long have you even been enrolled and you already have your own intel network. Other than being broke, you're basically perfect."

"Mm-hmm, I'm very good at making friends and listening to secrets (stories)."

Oberon chuckled softly.

"Well then, let's hope we get along well with the transfer student…"

As he said that, everyone's gaze naturally shifted to the empty seat next to Eikou.

"So, that Melusine girl is late again?"

Eikou sighed a little helplessly.

Even though Melusine's first impression was that of a serious, proper, and well-mannered student, once you got to know her, she turned out to be pretty eccentric — things like oversleeping or being late had become routine.

According to Baobhan Sith, "As long as she doesn't open her mouth to speak, she's basically a beautiful girl."

Poor Melusine, she probably doesn't even know what kind of consequences today's oversleeping will bring her.

Just as Eikou was thinking that, the sound of high heels echoed down the hallway — firm, powerful steps, the familiar sound of Queen Scathach striding across the tile floor.

The moment everyone heard that sound, the entire classroom fell silent.

The bright, noisy classroom that had been bustling like a marketplace instantly became dead quiet!

Unlike a certain self-absorbed but friendly like leader of Fionna, who could casually joke around with her class, the substitute teacher from the Shadow Land had conquered the classroom in no time — with a completely different management style.

Scathach, her long hair flowing, entered the room with a few thick textbooks in one hand, her expression as usual — stern and sharp.

But there were a few subtle changes: her lipstick was a deeper shade of red, she wore glasses that gave her a more intellectual look, and her bright red eyes no longer radiated the predatory killing intent they usually did.

"Don't you feel Scathach-sensei is a little different today?" Tristan whispered.

"Yeah, the aura really changed — gentler and more feminine," Gawain said. "She used to give off a cold and icy impression, but now it feels a bit softer."

"Maybe last night's party was a lot of fun."

Eikou: "..."

He thought to himself: maybe she doesn't even know there was a principal and colleagues in the wardrobe — how long can that secret stay buried?

"..."

It seemed Scathach noticed Eikou's gaze, her red eyes flicking over him briefly.

She looked calm and composed, not showing the slightest sign of anything unusual.

It wasn't that Scathach was particularly good at hiding things — it was more like she had already entered "teaching mode," Eikou thought.

"All right, next is the usual class homeroom,"

Scathach announced in a calm but clear and powerful voice,

"There aren't many days left until midterms. I hope you'll make use of the time to review — time flies fast. They say time waits for no one, and especially not for the dull lives of lazy people. Let me say this ugly truth in advance…"

Her red eyes flashed with a warrior's killing intent,

"I will forge you into warriors capable of standing on your own feet. If anyone's midterm scores fall below the average, it won't end with just a single scolding. I'll bring that person to the Shadow Land for strict training until they become the shape I desire. Understood?"

"Understood!"

The entire class responded in unison.

"Good."

Scathach nodded, satisfied with their immediate answer.

"Now I'll introduce a transfer student — another one joining Class Britain. Since you're from the same nation, I expect you to get along; of course, if this student is too weak and falls behind, then that's on them."

With that, she turned toward the hallway, where a small, golden-haired figure stood.

"Come in," Scathach said.

"..."

The figure in the hallway just shrugged slightly but didn't step inside.

"Don't make me say it twice — get in here and greet everyone."

Scathach urged, signaling the other party to muster their courage and step through the door.

The classroom fell silent once again.

Eikou vaguely heard a deep breath from outside the door — it seemed this transfer student was a Servant who was easily nervous, a little shy.

Several seconds passed, and just as Scathach's patience was about to run out—

The transfer student stumbled inside, face flushed bright red, and hurriedly rushed to the front of the class.

"T-T-T-T-Thank you everyone, my name is Castoria! No, wait, it should be Artoria Caster!"

What greeted everyone's eyes was a slender, petite blonde girl.

She had golden hair like ripe wheat, with a single ahoge sticking up from the top of her head; her fair, pretty face was flushed pink with embarrassment, and her green eyes were lowered, not daring to meet anyone's gaze.

When the name "Artoria" was mentioned, what popped into everyone's minds was the image of the noble, dignified King of Knights.

But the blonde girl standing in front of them — though her face was identical — was fidgeting awkwardly, shy and timid; her golden hair was loosely tied into a simple ponytail, slightly messy, giving her the impression of a stubborn, somewhat wild country girl.

This is… Artoria Caster from another world?

Eikou raised his eyebrows in surprise.

Meanwhile, the two Round Table Knights behind him nearly screamed with excitement: "It's Our King!!"

Oh my god, just look at those two, they were glowing with excitement — they'd finally welcomed the King they'd been longing for, and not just any King, but an Artoria from another world!

"M-my name is Artoria Caster, that's my name…"

The girl stammered, repeating herself,

"It's nice to meet everyone. I hope during the coming school year we can… help each other, improve together… or something like that?"
