Aiyana leaned forward, her dark eyes studying Nicklaus with the intensity of a scientist examining a specimen. "You. Red one. Are you familiar with this place?" she asked, gesturing to her mystical map where the bones had arranged themselves into what looked like architectural blueprints.
Nicklaus hesitated, his gaze darting between Alpha Theon's threatening presence and the glowing display on the table. I could see him weighing his options, calculating what information might keep him alive versus what might get him killed.
"Yes I am familiar with them. We call them the Colonies," he said finally, his voice hoarse from the impact with the table. "It's our major stronghold. The only one, really. Everything else is just... outposts."
He paused, wincing as he touched his nose gingerly. "But I must warn you, there are Elders there. The oldest of our kind. They make all the important decisions. You thought you killed them all, but most of them escaped."
