"Shawn," I called out to him. Shawn's back was turned to me as he stared out of the window. "I know I sound dumb but I believe everything Lorenzo said. I believe he never cheated on me. I believe Victoria is not pregnant for him. I knew Lorenzo would never cheat on me."
Shawn said nothing.
I began approaching him. "This is my chance to make things right. To unite Lorenzo with his kids. He deserves to know he is the father of my kids."
"Of course," he said, turning to me. "It's your life. And they're your kids. I can't make any decisions for you."
"Shawn, please don't speak like that. You've always been here for me—"
"Isn't that my role in your life?" He asked, forcing a grin.
"What do you mean?" I asked, my eyes searching his. I could see tears welled up in his eyes.
