[15 minutes remaining failure to complete the daily quest will result to severe punishment]
The system cuts in to Ethan's happy family reunion. "Damn" Ethan sighed. "um mom I think I should be discharged by now, I am feeling better now " Ethan told his mom. " ok son but you have to promise me you won't go to dungeons again be a regular person. I will make sure I work hard so I can send you to the top school. Then by God's grace you will be a manager of a big company and we can live a good life" his mom said.
Although she looks tough on the outside Ethan could see her inner parts. it was as if she will breakdown at any moment. Ethan understood well. how can a regular woman bear it . first she lost her husband now she is looking at her first son who always want to go to the dungeons even if he was beat numerous times. she can't bear it.
" mom you should know your shop is in bankruptcy and we need money to set things right. you should know that if I stop now we may end up living on the streets which isn't good" Ethan said looking calm. "I know but that doesn't mean I will lose another person close to me" his mother said .
Ethan jolted back he remembered this sentence in his last life. it was the last sentence his mother said to him before she died of a disease called mana influx(this affects Mundane people who are always close to a dungeon portal the mana flow affects their immune system becoming like poison). This happened when he just became an ascended .
Ethan quickly calmed down this time he won't allow his mother to die . he will set things straight. "mom look into my eyes I promise you I won't die instead I will protect you from harms way " Ethan said looking at his mother.
His mother looked into his blue eyes . She was quiet for sometime before she said . "ok fine but promise me you would protect yourself and your sister" . " I will mom" Ethan said as he quickly rushed out from the room thinking the system will teleport him in front of his family. He began to do the marathon.
"ok here he goes again" little finger said laughing cheekily.
[ Daily quest started]
[1 liter of water quest successfully passed] the system said as Ethan was running wildly from the hospital to the streets. people was wandering what was chasing him . "slow down young man" a nurse said . "isn't that the weak awakened who always end up in our hospital" someone whispered. "yh that him I wander what he is up to" another person said sighing.
Ethan ignored them as he continued sprinting. he was already used to it.he was breathing heavily. "Damn I almost forgot how weak I was when I was young" Ethan said cursing. his body was too weak and slow. fortunately he had the experience from his last life so he continued to run faster. After about 1 hour of running was he able to complete the marathon. By this time he was back at home he was seen doing pushups.
His home was an apartment. since his dad company was taken away. He, his mother and little finger was only able to afford an apartment. Everybody who saw Ethan doing pushups were surprised and laughing. Although he was an awakened and was weak they didn't dare mock him in his front.they could could only do that at his back.
Ethan saw this but he didn't care has he continued. His body was almost at breaking point after 2 hours, but he didn't care and just continued. After 200 pushups and 150 squats he heard a sweet voice.

[ congratulations you have been given a rank 2 dungeon key Ethan was happy as he checked his reward. Opening his inventory he removed the dungeon key . it was a jade key and it was shaped like a dragon. After examining it he place the key back . next he checked his stats .After some while of thinking he added 5 points to strength, 3 to speed and 2 to stamina. A sweet sensation entered his body making all the numbness go away.

seeing his stats he was a bit satisfied. "the more I get stronger the more I will be able to pass daily quest with ease" he said. Ding a notification came to Ethans phone. it read * awakened warriors needed about 15 . The dungeon to raid is a tier 1 dungeon. "Good just the right time " Ethan said as he prepared himself. but first he needed to test his skill star sword technique to be familiar with it using this body. He didn't dare bring out his rank 4 starless sword for fear of attracting attention. so he bought an earthly beast sword from a nearby stall. Although it was weak it was still expensive, costing him 10 thousand ace coin.
later he went to the back of his apartment to begin practice. At first his body became sloppy and his steps were scattered only after about 3 hours was he able to relearn the initial steps. bang bang bang. He applied mana to his sword technique this time. The power shattered a stone before Ethan could land a hit.
" wow this skill is powerful even though I am unable to fully use level 1 star sword technique it could still shatter a stone. This time tier 1 dungeon will be a piece of cake " he said smiling . " but still yet it consumes too much mana at least 2 mana points per 10 seconds. I only have 10 mana points right now which means I could use the sword for more than half a minute" he thought. He needs to increase his mana. not only his mana he also has to increase his agility strength and speed too.
After practicing till dawn he heard a message.[ congratulations your strength, speed and agility have been increased by 5 points and you gained 20 exp ] "hmm that come way too easy " he hummed has sweet sensation entered his body.
"so the more I practice the more I increase my strength" he thought.*ding* it was time for the dungeon raid.
Ethan wore simple clothes, tied his long silver hair to a bundle then he wore his sword at his side. He walked in the street at night which was flooded with people by this time .
