Beside her, Karna advanced, his crimson flames erupting from his spear as he incinerated everything in his path. Thanks to his Golden Armor, he didn't care about the damage he took.
At a distance, Achilles crossed the entire battlefield with his Noble Phantasm, [Dromeus Komētēs], embodying his divine speed.
With this unmatched speed, Achilles annihilated all Reapers and artificial demons in his path.
Meanwhile, Rossweisse, Le Fay, and Merlin activated their magic, filling the sky with countless magical circles that rained down massive amounts of lightning, fire, ice, wind blades, water, waves of darkness, and light swords on their enemies.
At the same time, Tiamat advanced, her right hand transformed into a massive dragon claw, unleashing an absurd amount of draconic aura that annihilated everything in her path.
Xenovia also advanced, using Durandal and Ascalon to cut down all Reapers and artificial demons in her path.
"You've improved, Arthur," said Gawain beside the descendant of King Arthur.
"You too," said Arthur, smiling.
Side by side, Arthur and Gawain advanced together, each wielding their respective Holy Swords.
Arthur swung Caliburn, creating massive rifts in space and raining down immense beams of holy energy, while using Excalibur to create copies of himself and amplify his power.
Gawain swung his sword, Excalibur Galatine, releasing intense amounts of flames and holy energy, sweeping everything in his path.
"Take this, nya!" shouted Kuroka as she unleashed her power.
From a distance, Kuroka sent her [Senjutsu] and [Youjutsu] in dozens of Chi orbs and a massive poisonous mist, affecting all artificial demons and Reapers.
"Let's go!" shouted Bikou, charging.
While flying on his magical cloud, Bikou extended his staff, reinforced by [Touki], annihilating everything in his path with his immense aura.
"Weak," said Vali calmly.
Flying above everyone with his Sacred Gear [Divine Dividing], the descendant of the Maou Lucifer bombarded his enemies with bursts of his [Demonic Power], exploding dozens of enemies in an instant.
"Is that the best you can do?" roared Crom Cruach as he advanced.
Charging through the battlefield, massacring everyone in his path, was the Crescent Circle Dragon.
Crom Cruach advanced across the battlefield, unleashing his draconic aura that crushed all Reapers and artificial demons in his path.
There was no comparison; Hades' servants couldn't even approach the Evil Dragon without being completely crushed by his massive aura.
"Let's go, Jin!" In another part of the battlefield, Tobio, alongside his Sacred Gear [Canis Lykaon], and the avatar Jin advanced.
Jin wagged his tail. Then a world of darkness appeared. All the shadows, black mist, and darkness around Tobio Ikuse, all the darkness in the world gathered there. From his mouth, a cursed chant was recited calmly and deeply.
"I sing for the slaughter of a thousand humans."
Tobio Ikuse and the black dog were enveloped in black mist. Then it spread, covering everything in the surrounding area.
"I celebrate the slaughter of ten thousand goblins."
His limbs gradually dissolved into the darkness, transforming into something with an abnormal figure.
"The name submerged in total darkness, the imitation of God wandering in the polar night."
The black dog Jin sank into the darkness at his feet.
"Die by my black blade."
Tobio's entire body was enveloped in darkness. Though his figure retained some human resemblance, it had become something different. His head and face transformed into something dog-like. The darkness continued to converge around Tobio Ikuse's body, forming front and hind legs, a tail, and opening massive jaws. The gathered darkness in the surrounding area formed figures one by one. Appearing everywhere around Tobio Ikuse were large packs of [Dogs] with black pelts.
"To be something absurd, O God, creator of the deformed."
After Tobio Ikuse recited the final line of the chant, the [Dogs] born from the darkness let out a piercing, anguished howl that shook the mind and body of all to their core.
"Oooooooooooohhhh…"
What appeared was a humanoid beast clad in darkness. Gathered around him were massive [Dogs] breathing darkness. Tobio Ikuse held a long, sharp scythe extending from beneath his feet. As he swung the scythe, it seemed to reap the souls of the living, while the pack of dogs appeared as apostles of Hell. The phenomena didn't stop, as gigantic blades extended from the ground in the surrounding area, one after another—sharp, thick, long blades. They seemed to be demonic swords capable of severing gods, a symbol of ill omens.
The entire battlefield was covered in blades. Black blades grew, grew, and continued to grow without any sign of stopping. With their extending momentum, they destroyed Reapers and artificial demons without delay. When Tobio Ikuse lightly swung his scythe, the space itself seemed to be cut in half; afterward, trees, rocks, and Reapers were sliced in two. Having become a beast of darkness, Tobio Ikuse walked silently through the mountain forest, and when he swung his scythe, artificial demons were severed along with the barriers they produced.
The pack of black dogs followed their master, breaking the blades that appeared in the forest with their teeth and carrying them in their mouths. The pack of black dogs, carrying blades in their mouths, swiftly felled the Reapers. The dogs sank into the shadows, then traversed through them, appearing in their enemies' blind spots—their shadows.
They followed their master, mercilessly reaping the lives of artificial demons. All that remained in their path were the corpses of Reapers and artificial demons and a dark aura. There was nothing they couldn't cut.
Suddenly, snow began to fall across the area.
The snow gradually gained momentum, creating a fierce blizzard.
However, this blizzard didn't make Gilgamesh and his allies feel cold; only the artificial demons and Grim Reapers were frozen, eventually turning to ice.
The number of demons and Reapers transformed into ice statues was increasing across the battlefield…
This was caused by Lavinia Reni, accompanied by her independent-type Sacred Gear, the Ice Princess [Absolute Demise], about six meters tall, with a deformed figure of six eyes and four arms.
The Ice Princess appeared in numerous places on the battlefield alongside a blizzard, creating a series of sharp, massive ice spears around her.
Looking at everything, Lavinia spoke with a beautiful smile in the snowstorm.
"This is the Balance Breaker of my Longinus, [Assoluto Argento Mondo]."
The Longinus [Absolute Demise], when mastered, had the power to turn an entire country into an ice crystal, altering the climate abnormally.
Even though Lavinia's Balance Breaker was expressed only in this area of the Realm of the Dead, it was already transforming this vast space into a silvery-white world due to blizzards and ice.
It was a snowstorm with tremendous momentum. However, Lavinia's allies felt no cold, and only enemies were frozen.
Lavinia, who could distinguish between friend and foe and unleash her abilities, was able to fully control her Balance Breaker and Longinus.
Meanwhile, Gilgamesh advanced at high speed across the battlefield.
His body was enveloped by the absolute holy aura of the [King of Purity Metatron], exterminating any artificial demon or Reaper in his path.
Extending his hand, a long spear manifested, with a magical circle at its center.
It wasn't an ordinary spear; it was a Metal Vessel, home to a Djinn.
"My servant of Hunting and Nobility, dwell in my body and transform it into the body of a great and powerful sorcerer," said Gilgamesh as he summoned the Djinn's power.
An intense silver light enveloped Gilgamesh, and when it faded, his appearance had changed.
Gilgamesh had taken on a lion-like form. His hair became a long silver mane with two metal clips holding two bangs in front, his ears and feet replaced by feline ears and paws, covered in armor on the lower half of his body, with wings on his ankles. He also gained a pair of bracelets connected to armguards by chains. His spear had transformed into a massive silver trident, with a horizontal rod at its center.
"Masou: Barbatos."
The Djinn Gilgamesh was using was Barbatos, the Djinn of Hunting and Nobility, with power over [Strength Magic].
Gilgamesh braced himself on the ground as his now feline legs tensed like a spring.
And in an instant, he shot forward.
Propelled by the overwhelming speed granted by Barbatos, Gilgamesh crossed the entire battlefield with his spear in hand. Regardless of the enemy—Reaper or artificial demon—all were torn apart and destroyed by Barbatos' power.
As he slowed down, Gilgamesh raised his spear as waves of magical power leaked from his body.
"Extreme Magic: Bard Longineus."
In an instant, all of Gilgamesh's massive magical aura concentrated in his spear, transforming it into a giant blue energy sword, which he hurled into the ground.
The moment it touched the ground, everything was cut, pierced with infallible speed—a weapon capable of cutting objects thousands of kilometers away advanced, splitting Hades' massive army in two.
Gilgamesh sighed as his [Masou] dissipated. Even among his Djinns, Barbatos was the most energy-consuming. Before evolving into [True Hero], Gilgamesh could only maintain it for ten minutes before exhausting himself, and that was without using magic or other abilities.
Even now, with ten times more magical power, it was still a considerable energy drain.
Sighing, Gilgamesh looked around, completely surrounded by Reapers and artificial demons.
Yet none of them attacked out of fear.
"But this way, we won't get anywhere," said Gilgamesh, sighing.
Hades' army had over a hundred thousand members, and no matter how many they killed, it seemed endless.
"Gilgamesh!"
A voice called him, and the King of Heroes turned to see two people he didn't expect.
Leonardo and Asia walking toward him.
Gilgamesh's eyes widened at the sight.
"What are you doing here?" shouted Gilgamesh, confused.
Seeing the demons preparing to attack Leonardo and Asia, Gilgamesh moved to act, but before he could, Leonardo's shadow grew, forming dozens of Anti-Monsters that unleashed massive beams of light, annihilating the artificial demons.
Gilgamesh blinked, slightly surprised.
"We came to help," said Leonardo seriously.
"It's dangerous here; you need to go back. And Asia, how's Valerie's treatment?" asked Gilgamesh, concerned.
"She's fine. Lady Gabriel is taking care of her; she's much better at healing magic," said Asia, smiling.
"Yes, Gilgamesh, and we can fight too. We won't always be the helpless ones who need protecting," shouted Leonardo with conviction.
Seeing this, Gilgamesh's eyes widened, but a small smile soon appeared on his face.
"Alright, just don't die," said Gilgamesh, smiling.
"Yes!" said Asia and Leonardo simultaneously.
"Let's go, Asia," said Leonardo as the shadows around him began to shift.
"Yes," said Asia, nodding.
The girl reached into her pocket and pulled out something Gilgamesh couldn't believe.
It was a pair of panties.
Gilgamesh's eyes blinked at the sight.
"So she's going to summon him," said Enkidu, standing beside Gilgamesh.
"What's that, Enkidu?" asked the King of Heroes, confused.
"You'll see," replied the Weapon of the Gods.
Gilgamesh only watched as Asia, her face red with embarrassment, threw her panties into the air.
As Asia's panties were thrown upward, a massive portal appeared behind her.
It was entirely golden, shining like Gilgamesh's aura, and a portal he recognized.
The [Dragon Gate], capable of summoning a dragon.
Then, a massive golden claw emerged from the portal.
"Finally, Asia-tan summoned me! I'll protect her!!"
Gilgamesh blinked at the excited voice and was even more surprised by what emerged from the [Dragon Gate].
It was a massive golden Western dragon, over 10 meters tall, without wings on its back, unlike a typical Western dragon, and with a horn at the tip of its nose.
In a swift movement, it caught Asia's panties with the horn on its nose, looking delighted.
"That's… Fafnir?" asked Gilgamesh, uncertain.
The one Asia had summoned was the "Golden Dragon Monarch," one of the "Five Great Dragon Kings," Fafnir.
"Since when can Asia summon him? I thought he was sealed in Azazel's Artificial Sacred Gear," said Gilgamesh, confused.
Enkidu responded.
"During training, Azazel ended up canceling his contract with Fafnir, and Asia formed a pact with him to summon him," explained Enkidu.
"And why didn't anyone tell me?" asked Gilgamesh, still confused.
"She wanted to surprise you," said Enkidu, shrugging.
"And why the panties?" asked Gilgamesh, perplexed.
Enkidu laughed nervously. "Apparently, Fafnir is a pervert and demanded Asia's panties as payment for being summoned."
Gilgamesh merely sighed. Of course, the Dragon King would be a pervert.
The Dragon King Fafnir, now summoned, opened his mouth, unleashing a massive torrent of flames, burning all the Reapers and artificial demons.
And Gilgamesh's surprise didn't end there as he saw Asia clasp her hands.
"Balance Breaker!"
Gilgamesh's eyes widened in shock as a massive golden aura enveloped Asia's body.
When the aura dissipated, Asia was revealed, covered in golden dragon armor adorned with red jewels, infused with both Fafnir's aura and Gilgamesh's, which she had absorbed from spending so much time with him.
This was the [Twilight Saint Affection], also known as [The Garden of Charity Held by the Holy Dragon Princess], Asia's subspecies Balance Breaker.
As the armor appeared, all of Gilgamesh's allies were enveloped in a deep green aura that began healing the wounds of everyone on the battlefield.
This was the ability of Asia's Balance Breaker, creating a healing field that protected any ally. This aura didn't negate attacks but rather the damage inflicted by them.
Thus, Asia was healing all her allies.
Additionally, a dense aura covered Asia's body, completely negating the attacks of the Reapers and demons.
Due to the combined dense aura of Fafnir and Gilgamesh in the armor, an almost indestructible barrier protected Asia from any harm.
"My turn," said Leonardo, smiling.
"Balance Breaker!"
The ground around Leonardo transformed into shadows, spreading across the battlefield.
Suddenly, a massive head emerged from the shadows, trembling. Then a huge torso appeared, followed by extremely thick and large arms, and massive legs to support the colossal being's weight.
[UUURRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAATTTTTHHHHH]
The creature let out a massive roar that seemed to shake the entire Realm of the Dead. A being of such colossal proportions, it appeared to be over 200 meters tall, and alongside it, dozens of smaller monsters began emerging from the shadows.
What appeared before Gilgamesh and his allies, as well as the artificial demons and Reapers, was unbelievable.
A massive being, 200 meters tall, and beside it were twelve Anti-Monsters, each about 100 meters tall.
Even from a distance, Gilgamesh could tell these beings possessed God-class power. Using Raphael's calculations, he could confirm with certainty.
If this Balance Breaker were mastered, it had the power to destroy the world.
[Confirmed: The individual Leonardo has triggered the Balance Breaker "Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky" of the Longinus "Annihilation Maker."]
Raphael's voice wasn't necessary for Gilgamesh to realize this, but it heightened his surprise that Leonardo had achieved Balance Breaker at such a young age.
Leonardo's Balance Breaker, [Bandersnatch and Jabberwocky], had the power to create twelve Anti-Monsters, each 100 meters tall, called [Bandersnatch], also known as the Great Demonic Beast, and one Anti-Monster, 200 meters tall, called [Jabberwocky], also known as the Super Demonic Beast.
Each of these beings possessed immense power, placing them on par with God-class beings, with the ability to create smaller copies of themselves and target their opponents' weaknesses, as well as immense regenerative power.
"This is serious," commented Cao Cao, approaching as he saw Leonardo's Balance Breaker.
It was something he had never imagined.
"What a monster," commented Vali, standing beside Gilgamesh.
Even he had to admit it was unreal.
"The training paid off," said Sebas, approaching with Karna beside him.
"Hahaha, your allies are truly incredible, Gilgamesh," said Crom Cruach, landing and looking at the creatures with fascination.
"That's pretty amazing," said Tobio, approaching, no longer in his Balance Breaker, with Jin at his side.
Leonardo, protected atop his creatures, gave a tired smile after unleashing his Balance Breaker.
"Gilgamesh, please head to Hades' castle. We'll hold them off," said Leonardo as his creatures began firing beams of pure light, annihilating hordes of artificial demons and Reapers.
"He's right, Gil," said Mordred, approaching. "We'll handle this. You need to deal with that skeleton as soon as possible."
Seeing this, Gilgamesh nodded, looking at Cao Cao, Tobio, Crom Cruach, Sebas, Enkidu, Vali, and Karna, who also nodded in agreement.
In a swift movement, the group of eight advanced toward Hades' castle.
Without opposition from the artificial demons and Reapers, the group reached the castle's protectors in an instant.
Pluto stood at the center, holding his scythe. To his left were Balberith and Verrine, and to his right were Sonneilion and Gressil.
Approaching them were their enemies.
Gilgamesh walked at the center of the group, with Vali, Tobio, and Enkidu to his right, and Crom Cruach, Vali, Karna, and Sebas to his left.
The two teams faced each other as their powers surged, staring each other down seriously.
"You'll stop here, King of Heroes," said Pluto sternly.
"You think you can stop me, Reaper?" asked Gilgamesh, narrowing his eyes.
"Don't worry, Gilgamesh, we'll handle them," said Cao Cao, tapping his spear on his shoulder.
"You think you can beat me, wielder of the Holy Spear?" asked Sonneilion mockingly.
Cao Cao gave a faint smile.
In an instant, Sonneilion raised his fist and attacked Cao Cao, who blocked with his Holy Spear but was pushed back slightly.
"Let's begin," said Cao Cao with a smile. "Georg, do it."
At Cao Cao's shout, even from a distance, the wielder of [Dimension Lost] understood.
"Understood," said Georg, extending his hand and unleashing the power of his Longinus.
Then the purple mist of [Dimension Lost] enveloped both Cao Cao and Sonneilion.
"Let's fight somewhere else," said the Chinese Hero, smiling.
At the same moment, the mist also enveloped Tobio and Gressil, transporting them to another area, as well as Crom Cruach and Balberith, and Verrine and Vali.
"Damn it!" shouted Pluto, seeing what had happened.
The Reaper quickly charged to attack, but before he could, Sebas appeared in front of him, blocking the scythe's strike and sending the Reaper flying.
"Please proceed, Young Master. I'll take care of him," said Sebas as Gilgamesh nodded.
Gilgamesh, along with Enkidu and Karna, advanced, destroying part of Hades' castle until they reached the Throne Room.
The interior of Hades' castle was entirely black, as if made of black jewels spread throughout the area, along with many other precious gems.
The gate to Hades' throne room was massive, over ten meters tall, crafted from the finest material in the Realm of the Dead, capable of withstanding attacks from Ultimate-class beings without a scratch.
But with a single kick, Gilgamesh blasted the gates open. One of the massive doors was torn from its hinges, flying forward before skidding to a stop meters away. The other door slammed violently into the wall, drawing the attention of everyone in the room.
"It seems you've finally arrived."
Hearing a dark, deep voice, Gilgamesh, along with Karna and Enkidu, entered the Throne Room and faced three beings.
Seated on the throne was a tall skeletal figure dressed in robes worn by high priests, emanating a terrifying aura. Though it had no eyes, its sockets could glow to give the appearance of eyes.
This was Hades, the Greek God of the Dead, listed among the "10 Strongest Beings in the World."
Beside Hades was a handsome young man in his twenties with black hair, his body emanating a dark aura, wearing black armor.
This was Erebus, the Primordial God of Darkness and Nyx's brother.
On the other side was a 100-meter sphere with numerous eyes and tentacles. Its body emitted an unbelievable aura, and its presence also released a dark mist.
This was Tartarus, the Primordial God of the Abyss in Greek mythology.
Gilgamesh walked calmly as Karna positioned himself in front of Tartarus and Enkidu in front of Erebus.
"You've finally arrived, King of Heroes," said Hades mockingly.
Gilgamesh walked calmly as his aura slowly rose.
"Yes, sorry for the delay, Hades. Let's get started," said Gilgamesh, grinning fiercely.
Seeing the golden aura enveloping Gilgamesh, the God of the Dead stood, a deep and sinister aura surrounding him.
"Do you really think you have a chance of winning? You're just a mere demigod. You may have performed miracles so far, like defeating Sirzechs Lucifer. But you must remember this: even miracles have limits… And in the end, at that moment, what will you do then?" asked Hades mockingly.
At that, a faint laugh escaped Gilgamesh's lips.
"You know, Hades, for two years I was an Exorcist and had a lot of contact with Angels. I always knew an Angel could fall if they committed one of the 7 Deadly Sins…"
A green glow slowly began to emanate from Gilgamesh's left hand.
"Then one day, someone close to me asked: if you were an Angel, which deadly sin would you fall to?"
As Gilgamesh spoke, a red gauntlet began forming on his left arm.
"Since the day she asked me that, I didn't have a solid answer about which sin I'd fall to. I thought it would be Pride," said Gilgamesh calmly.
"But seeing an insignificant worm try to take something precious from me, I finally decided which one it was," said Gilgamesh sternly.
Gilgamesh's form was enveloped in a crimson light that blinded the entire audience. When the light faded, his body was covered in Red Dragon Armor adorned with green jewels and golden details, with a pair of dragon wings on his back.
[Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker]
From this day forward, it would be forever remembered as the day the Sin of the Dragon's Wrath was born.
