[So this is the Maou Lucifer. An irregularity among demons... A true monster,] in Gilgamesh's mind, Ddraig let out a sigh of admiration upon seeing Sirzechs' form.
"Yes, this isn't something that can be called a 'Demon,' Devil who bears the name of the Morning Star, what are you?" asked Regulus from a small light in Gilgamesh's hand.
"...Honestly, I can't say. Ajuka and I are irregularities in this world, even more so than the Longinus Gears or Rizevim. Beings that should never have existed. There have never been beings like us before our birth, or since. We can't even say with absolute certainty that we are demons. I suppose that's why the world saw fit to crown us with the title of 'Super Demons.'"
The thing responded, the parts of its body that were likely its shoulders shrugging indifferently at the Lion King's question.
"Young Master, this power..." Arashi, the consciousness of the Longinus [Zenith Tempest], manifested.
"Yes, there's no doubt that Sirzechs is far stronger than Crom Cruach. With this power... he's probably as strong as Indra, or perhaps a bit less," said Gilgamesh aloud.
That was just Gilgamesh's estimate, but it was said that Indra was so strong that it would take the Four Great Maous to even come close to his power.
And Sirzechs' power certainly surpassed Crom Cruach easily. It was safe to say that in this form, with the accumulated power, Sirzechs was almost as strong as Indra, or perhaps even as strong as him.
Gilgamesh was certain: at this moment, Sirzechs was stronger than him.
Soon, Gilgamesh turned his attention to Sirzechs, who took a step forward.
The moment Sirzechs' foot touched the ground, the entire region began to disintegrate.
"I can't control my power in this form, especially with this extra power, so I can't stay in it for long to avoid harming the world itself. I apologize, Gilgamesh, but I'll have to end this in an instant."
The thing announced as it raised what seemed to be a hand.
A black mass began to form at the fingertip, growing rapidly and becoming infinitely darker as the [Power of Destruction] compressed into a spherical form.
Gilgamesh observed the volleyball-sized orb that had taken on a shade of black darker than the night itself, a black star of annihilation, pieces of debris scattered in the area being pulled toward it as the gravitational force increased.
But just as the black star seemed to have reached critical mass, possessing such absolute gravity that even Gilgamesh had to resist to avoid being pulled toward it, another change occurred.
A black darkness devoured the area, plunging them into a realm of total darkness.
It was then that, with a single wave, the black star of annihilation was launched toward Gilgamesh.
The black sphere of destruction advanced, annihilating everything in its path as it headed toward Gilgamesh.
Seeing the star of destruction advancing toward him, all Gilgamesh could do was strengthen his [Susanoo].
An enormous ethereal shield appeared in front of Gilgamesh as his [Susanoo] wielded it to protect him.
It was one of the treasures of Gilgamesh's [Susanoo], the [Yata Mirror], a spiritual weapon endowed with the five nature transformations and capable of neutralizing any attack.
However, the moment it collided with the black star of destruction, the shield gave way.
Gilgamesh's eyes widened as he saw his shield completely annihilated.
The [Yata Mirror] could neutralize any attack related to natural elements, but this didn't apply to an attack that was essentially destruction incarnate.
Seeing his shield completely annihilated and the [Power of Destruction] beginning to consume his [Susanoo], Gilgamesh quickly leaped out of his defense.
All he saw was his "Absolute Defense" completely annihilated by Sirzechs' power, which consumed it entirely.
Before Gilgamesh could react, Sirzechs, or the thing that took his place, appeared in front of the King of Heroes as its fist, covered in pure [Power of Destruction], struck Gilgamesh.
All the King of Heroes could do was raise his arms defensively and activate his [Armament Haki] to protect himself from the attack.
Even so, Gilgamesh was struck and sent flying into a mountain.
Gilgamesh's body crashed into the rocks, destroying part of the mountain.
Gilgamesh grunted in pain, not only from the blow but also from the fact that the [Power of Destruction] had injured him. The skin covering Gilgamesh's arms had been destroyed, exposing his nerves to the open air, causing the King of Heroes to narrow his eyes.
Soon, blue flames covered his arms, and in an instant, Gilgamesh regenerated all his wounds with the power of the [Tori Tori no Mi].
"I'd advise you to give up now, Gilgamesh. Your current power is no match for me."
Sirzechs said with his distorted voice as he waited for Gilgamesh to surrender.
But the response Sirzechs got was not what he expected.
"Give up? You think I'd lose so easily, Sirzechs?!" shouted Gilgamesh.
Divine power exploded from the demigod's body as the entire mountain around him was completely annihilated by the sheer power, and even the darkness of Sirzechs' power was forced to retreat for a moment.
"It's been so long since I felt like this in a fight! Since I was injured like this?"
This was what he wanted, a battle where he'd be pushed to the limit, where flesh danced and his blood boiled, where it was kill or be killed.
This was what he truly wanted; there was no way he'd let it end like this.
Seeing this, Sirzechs sighed.
"I understand. Then you first."
With a wave of Sirzechs' hand, an enormous beam of pure [Power of Destruction] shot toward Gilgamesh.
Reacting in time, the King of Heroes activated his [Meteor] and covered himself in his golden aura as he dodged Sirzechs' attacks at high speed.
While dodging the attacks, Gilgamesh quickly extended his hand, creating dozens of light swords and raining them down on Sirzechs.
But before they even reached Sirzechs, they were destroyed due to the Crimson Maou's aura.
Gilgamesh's shock at his attack being stopped so easily left him unable to react to the next attack.
Gilgamesh stopped in the air as he stared in surprise at what was happening; his entire surroundings were covered by an immense mantle created from [Power of Destruction], surrounding him.
"I really can't defeat you in speed, so all I need to do is prevent any chance of escape."
Sirzechs announced in victory as he observed all his power containing Gilgamesh.
Gilgamesh knew there was no way he could escape at that moment; even at his maximum speed, he would still be affected by the [Power of Destruction], and not even his [Susanoo] could protect him from all that energy.
Seeing this, Gilgamesh could only smile.
"To think I'd be driven to this," said Gilgamesh calmly as he observed the [Power of Destruction] surrounding him.
"This is the end, King of Heroes. You've lost."
With his announcement, Sirzechs strengthened his power with an even greater amount of his [Demonic Power].
Even as Sirzechs' power began to advance, piercing Gilgamesh's aura to annihilate him, all the King of Heroes did was laugh.
"You really think you can defeat me with just that, Sirzechs?" asked Gilgamesh sarcastically.
Even with Sirzechs' destructive aura almost colliding with Gilgamesh's body, he didn't seem to care.
"If you have an ace up your sleeve, feel free to use it."
In the same way, Sirzechs responded with sarcasm.
"If you insist so much," said Gilgamesh with a laugh.
As Gilgamesh's body was completely consumed by the [Power of Destruction], all Sirzechs heard were two words.
"Balance Breaker."
With those words alone, Sirzechs realized that Gilgamesh had never taken him seriously.
And only now would he fight with everything.
Sirzechs' eyes turned to the sky, and the Maou saw enormous storm clouds covering the entire region, the ground trembling as massive gales swept through the area.
The sea churned and invaded the land violently; enormous tornadoes with the power to wipe out entire cities became commonplace as they appeared in such numbers that they couldn't even be counted.
From the storm clouds, immense lightning bolts fell to the ground, annihilating entire mountains as if they were made of nothing more than paper. Torrential rains fell with such intensity that even the most trained warriors could barely move due to the pressure.
Sirzechs could only remain in his position safely by expanding his [Power of Destruction] aura.
And turning his gaze to the source of it all, Sirzechs saw a small light shining right in the center of all the power he had used to annihilate Gilgamesh.
"Disappear, darkness."
The moment the voice proclaimed, all the darkness created by Sirzechs had been dissipated.
The Crimson Maou stared in disbelief as he saw his power dissipated as if it were nothing.
And in the center of it all was Gilgamesh.
But the King of Heroes had a completely different appearance than before.
His hair had literally become golden flames as it swayed with the wind; lightning-shaped tattoos appeared, marking his body. Gilgamesh's clothing was peculiar: half of it looked like molten magma, red and black energy covering it, while the other half shone in an icy blue tone, and with each second, it seemed to change, taking the form of different elements. Gilgamesh's crimson eyes gleamed with small specks of red, blue, green, brown, yellow, white, and black circling his iris. Behind Gilgamesh were seven pairs of wings, each pair taking the form of an element like Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Shadow, and Light.
It couldn't be said that Gilgamesh controlled the elements of nature.
He had literally become a personified Avatar of every element that exists.
"I see. So this monstrous power is your Balance Breaker."
Sirzechs' voice no longer came out with firmness but trembled with fear in the face of the power he was feeling.
In response, Gilgamesh merely smiled.
"Yes, it's been quite a while since I used this Balance Breaker, the true power of my [Zenith Tempest], the [Wrath of Heaven]," Gilgamesh announced his new form.
The Balance Breaker of Gilgamesh had been revealed to the world, the Balance Breaker of [Zenith Tempest]: [Wrath of Heaven], the [Wrath of Heaven].
Seeing his enemy's power, Sirzechs raised his hand as dozens of deep, condensed spheres of [Power of Destruction] advanced toward Gilgamesh.
Each of those spheres had the power to erase even a high-level divinity, and with that quantity, even a member of the Top 10 could be killed.
But Gilgamesh didn't even move when he saw the attack coming toward him; all he did was narrow his eyes.
And in the next second, dozens of immense lightning bolts fell from the sky, colliding with each of the spheres.
And to Sirzechs' astonishment, the lightning bolts annihilated the spheres as if they were nothing and continued to advance toward Sirzechs, who was forced to dodge.
The Crimson Maou began running across the battlefield, dodging all the attacks he could, but even so, the rain of lightning continued to fall against him without missing.
Seeing the futility of his long-range attacks, twelve bat-like wings sprouted from Sirzechs' back as he flew into the sky. Wings with claws sharp enough to cut steel, outlined by the crimson power of destruction, were interrupted by a golden barrier as a fist crackling with the characteristic power of the Bael was caught in a white aura.
Sirzechs' fist, strengthened with his [Power of Destruction], had been completely stopped by Gilgamesh with a single hand.
An intense holy aura, created from the [White God Slayer Magic], covered the King of Heroes' body.
The [Power of Destruction], although capable of erasing anything, was demonic in nature and, as such, faltered when it met its polar opposite, the Holy Light, and in such quantities, the absolute ruin was halted. The [Power of Destruction] lashed out violently in defiance of the Holy Aura protecting its enemy.
But a wall of pure kinetic energy flew from him, sending Satan across the battlefield.
"Is this the best the strongest of the Satans can offer?" Gilgamesh asked, disappointed.
A lightning bolt exploded from Sirzechs' fingers, infused with [Power of Destruction], and shot toward him.
The lightning flowed through him, coalescing in his outstretched hand. Lightning was a great offensive element, as it had incredible speed and penetrating power.
Gilgamesh didn't even move; he let Sirzechs' lightning strike him.
Strengthened by the [Power of Destruction], the lightning pierced the King of Heroes' arm, tearing it off.
Sirzechs' eyes widened as he saw Gilgamesh not react, but he soon understood why.
Gilgamesh's destroyed arm quickly regenerated as flames emerged from the wound and formed a new arm.
"You won't win with just that," said Gilgamesh with scorn.
With his Balance Breaker [Wrath of Heaven], Gilgamesh could become a literal avatar of nature. With this, no matter what attack he suffered, Gilgamesh could regenerate infinitely; he was literally immortal in this form.
The only way to defeat Gilgamesh in this state would be to force him to deactivate his Balance Breaker.
For even if Gilgamesh were completely annihilated, he could easily regenerate as long as a single attribute of nature existed; Gilgamesh was immortal in this form.
Sirzechs quickly prepared to advance, but before he could react, immense flames emerged from the ground, advancing toward the Crimson Maou.
Expanding his aura, Sirzechs annihilated the flames that appeared around him and shot toward Gilgamesh again.
But before Sirzechs could react, an immense lightning bolt fell upon his body, causing the Crimson Maou to spit blood.
Even with Sirzechs' destructive aura that should have protected him, the intensity and power behind Gilgamesh's lightning struck Sirzechs with full force.
Sirzechs tried to escape again to advance, but when he looked at Gilgamesh, the Crimson Maou stared in disbelief at what he saw.
Gilgamesh had both hands extended and open, and in the center of them was a sphere of fire that was essentially a miniature Sun resting in his hands.
And with a wave, Gilgamesh fired the Sun toward Sirzechs.
Sirzechs quickly expanded his [Power of Destruction] with the intent to annihilate the Sun.
But that wasn't in Gilgamesh's plans.
"Greatest Sun."
The small solar sphere heading toward Sirzechs disappeared, and in its place was an enormous flaming sphere mere centimeters from hitting Sirzechs.
All Sirzechs could do was widen his eyes as he saw the immense Sun strike him.
A deafening roar shook the area after the attack; the flames generated by the sun charred everything in their path as the ground itself melted under the power. An entire region spanning kilometers was affected by the attack's effects.
Gilgamesh only watched calmly the effect of his [Sunshine] attack. Although it was nighttime and he couldn't use the power of this magic, Gilgamesh had developed a trick.
Using the power of the [White Stallion] Authority, which allowed him to summon a stallion made of flames with the power of the Sun, Gilgamesh only summoned the Sun's power and channeled it through his body, activating [Sunshine]. However, the strain was so great that he could only use it for a few seconds, at most minutes.
Gilgamesh only watched as the smoke cleared.
And the entire landscape had changed.
Now there was a crater dozens of meters deep and so wide that nothing remained standing, and in its center was something the Demons would never forget.
The bloodied body of Sirzechs, no longer in his transformation, but unconscious.
And with that, the battle had been decided.
[Sirzechs Lucifer-sama is unable to fight. Therefore, the victory goes to Gilgamesh-sama.]
