Adam sat across from Wanda in their discreet Sokovian safe house, the air humming not just with the city's distant sounds, but with the subtle thrum of nascent power. Pietro was a blur in the background, darting around the small training space Adam had secured, a small crater already forming in one wall from an overenthusiastic burst of speed.
"Again, Wanda," Adam coached, his voice calm but firm. "Focus on the intention. It's not about force, it's about control. Feel the energy, don't just unleash it. Direct it. Shape it."
Wanda closed her eyes, her brow furrowed in concentration. Wisps of crimson energy, more defined than before, began to swirl around her hands. She pushed, and a stack of old crates across the room shuddered, then lifted a few inches before falling back with a thud.
"It's… hard," she confessed, a frustrated sigh escaping her lips.
"Of course it's hard," Adam countered, "You're literally learning to bend reality. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was a reality-warping witch. But you're getting there. Look." He pointed to the crates. "They lifted higher this time. More stable."
He was spending GP like water on their training. With the accumulated points from the Loki invasion and subsequent missions, he had been systematically emptying the Guild Master Store of anything that would benefit them.

Pietro zipped over, his face flushed with exertion. "I think I broke the sound barrier inside the apartment!" he boasted, a mischievous grin on his face.
"Not quite, speed demon, but you're getting closer," Adam chuckled. "The key is control, Pietro. Not just speed, but precision. The ability to stop on a dime, to change direction without losing momentum. That's what's going to keep you alive when you're going up against… things that can actually hit you."
He turned back to Wanda, his expression serious. "Wanda, what you're capable of… it's immense. But it's also dangerous, especially if it's uncontrolled. Every emotion, every surge of anger or fear, can translate into raw power. These skill books aren't just about making you stronger; they're about making you safer. Safer for yourself, safer for Pietro, safer for everyone."
He paused, then added, a hint of his meta-knowledge slipping into his tone. "There are things coming, Wanda. Threats that will make the Chitauri invasion look like a minor skirmish.
