Elijah's nonchalance had a peculiar effect on everyone present.
The more detached he appeared, the scarier he became, especially in the eyes of an evil spirit.
She didn't seem to have any advantage against the exorcist, making it difficult for her to reach a decision.
If she attacked Elijah, the likelihood of her succeeding was low.
And if she didn't, Elijah still wouldn't let them go. His stance was far too clear.
"I am only offering you this chance because you were once a victim too. If you don't want... then forget it."
As he said, he pressed his cross on Nara's chest.
Black smoke, visible to the naked eye, wafted out of Nara's wide-open mouth.
"The karma bound to you is as heavy as mountains, but your spiritual energy is far too pure to cause it all. What the hell are you?"
