Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 – Vengeance Target, Lockdown!

In the current West Asia branch, five people—especially Ling Ke—were feeling "uneasy."

Among them, three were lab coat-wearing scientists who had participated in human experiments.

In fact, those involved in such experiments were deeply connected to Ling Ke—and many others.

But the names of all those assistants remained unknown for now.

However, three of them were frequently mentioned by that group:

Dr. Antonio.

Dr. Egas.

Dr. Moniz.

Among them, Dr. Antonio was a meticulous man who only cared about experimental results.

He didn't care how much pain the test subject endured on the operating table—nor whether they survived.

To be honest, if Ling Ke hadn't been deemed "too valuable," he would've been killed by that man many times already.

More than once, when on the brink of death, he was saved by Dr. Egas—Antonio's colleague.

However, Ling Ke felt no gratitude for that "act of salvation."

Simply because—he didn't care.

"Your current suffering is for the sake of allowing all humanity to defeat the Honkai."

"You should feel honored!"

Those were some of Dr. Egas' "famous sayings."

A man consumed by ambition, chasing after fame and fortune.

More than once, Ling Ke overheard him muttering resentfully about not yet being transferred to Schicksal HQ, despite how "excellent" he was.

He also never missed a chance to belittle the famous Valkyries.

For example, the well-known Yolandele—according to him, she was just a naïve little girl "famous only because of her bloodline."

Ling Ke heard such comments constantly.

And to be honest, he didn't think all of them were wrong.

But that didn't stop him from despising that villain.

As for the last one—Dr. Moniz...

A middle-aged woman.

It was said she had a happy family.

Although her husband had a modest career, the two loved each other deeply.

And so that her children could live better lives, she…

In recent years, the research team of the branch had discovered that anti-Honkai agents derived from Ling Ke's blood were far more effective than those produced in other branches.

Because of this, Dr. Moniz secretly used that advantage to expand her influence, reselling high-quality serums to powerful politicians, businessmen, and military figures.

Of course, she loved her family dearly and surely stored large amounts for them as well.

Ling Ke found out about these secrets after numerous experiments, since it was suspected he could quickly adapt to side effects and awaken early due to his growing resistance to drugs.

You could say that his exploitation as a "flesh resource" was intensified thanks to this woman.

As for these three, Ling Ke had already decided exactly how he would "have fun" with them.

Besides the scientists, there were two others.

One—the head of the West Asia branch.

The other—Jukh, from the Jacobite State.

Currently, two active Valkyrie squads were stationed at that branch base.

Their codenames: "Silver Lotus" and "Red Wings."

Both teams consisted of an A-rank captain and several B-rank Valkyries.

All were recruited from the Jacobite State and the Star-Moon nation.

Among them, the captain of the Silver Lotus squad: Edwig Yiwen.

A girl with a striking appearance.

Blonde hair, fair skin—she perfectly matched the description: "angelic face, devilish figure."

Unfortunately...

Years ago, she and the branch director hid Ling Ke's existence after discovering his uniqueness.

Later, Ling Ke learned that both of them used this method to lure, deceive, and abduct numerous test subjects.

He had remained in the underground prison, watching as people were taken one by one into the room next door—never to return.

A few days later, his "neighbors" would change.

Over and over again.

Once, Edwig came down to the prison—perhaps out of boredom—and met Ling Ke.

The first words she spoke to him still echoed in his mind:

"You're still alive?! You're like a cockroach."

"Heh."

In the Theater of Domination, Ling Ke's body sneered.

He now understood that this world infected by the Honkai was full of shadows, terror, and filth.

And he had experienced it all firsthand.

So then...

"Since we'll be welcoming our 'guests' properly, a lavish feast is a must."

He narrowed his eyes slightly:

"Get ready, Xiaoqiang…"

"Catching him shouldn't be too hard!"

At that moment, right after he spoke—

Buzz!

In front of the cell where he had once been imprisoned, a spatial door opened.

And one after another, "Domination Dolls: Ambi" appeared.

Each had a different three-digit number.

As soon as they stepped through the portal, they scattered in all directions.

At the same time…

Every time a "Domination Ambi" passed through a location, another spatial door opened.

And from it, more Ambis emerged.

Floor by floor—they spread everywhere.

It seemed Ling Ke had no intention of holding back his combat power.

The infinite resurrection granted by the "Chamber of Rebirth" gave him all the confidence he needed.

There were 999 Ambis. Even in their base form, each one held power equivalent to a B-rank Valkyrie.

That was more than enough to obliterate the entire West Asia branch.

"Remember: those five people are not to die. They're mine. I want to play slowly~ slowly~."

"And the rest?"

"From the underground prison upward... kill them all."

"And the prisoners?"

"Don't be rude. They're 'guests' at the dinner party too."

"Understood!" ×999

Thanks to the unique quantum communication of the "Lawyer of a Thousand", the conversation between Ling Ke's consciousness and each of his units concluded instantly.

And then came the fog of blood.

The 999 Ambis moved as one.

Advance. Draw weapons.

It didn't matter whether they were armed guards or civilians kneeling and begging for mercy…

Ling Ke didn't care if they were "innocent."

His former kindness and conscience had long been corrupted and destroyed.

Now, he was pure malice.

Though he preferred to "fight evil with evil", rather than senselessly killing innocents.

Because he—who had chosen to become a "world-destroying player"—wanted to grow rapidly and unlock more character templates...

[Points: 167]

[Points: 225]

[Points: 276]

He didn't care who killed whom, or whether innocents were caught in the chaos.

He only focused on the rising point count.

Finally...

[Points: 280]

"Oh... 280 points means I can perform a random character draw."

Ling Ke muttered sarcastically in his heart:

"This really reeks of that damn gacha system…"

"Damn thief!"
