Chapter 2 - Unseen scars,Unspoken eyes

The scene shifts to the railway station, where Raghav, Siya, and their cousin Subhi (who was almost the same age as Siya) were boarding the train to college. In their large extended family full of boys, Siya and Subhi were the only girls.

No one ever directly compared the two, but everyone around them thought that if Siya could be like Subhi and hence once called "twins"—now, seemed like strangers. Not because Subhi was arrogant, and not because Siya was jealous.

It was just that Subhi had become hesitant to share things with Siya—fearing her happiness might make Siya feel worse.

But that's what Siya hated the most.

She didn't see it as care. She saw it as distance—a quiet declaration that she was no longer equal.

Not jealousy—self-doubt.

In the railway coach, Siya's dad had accompanied the three of them to drop them at their respective colleges.

In the same coach, there was another family also travelling to the same city. Seeing Siya, Shivansh, and Subhi together, they casually asked:

"What are your majors?"

Subhi and Shivansh smiled and answered confidently.

Siya hesitated.

Her father glanced at her and spoke:

"Why are you quiet now? Speak up. You chose this field yourself, right? Nobody forced you."

Again—maybe he didn't mean to hurt her.

But he did.

Siya softly replied, "Psychology."

The man from the other family, a classic Indian uncle, frowned:

"Why not MBBS? Why psychology?"

Her father quickly jumped in:

"Could've done MBBS. But madam here didn't want to put in the effort again. Didn't want to try one more year."

That broke her.

Siya's eyes filled with tears.

She turned to her seat, pulled the blanket over herself, and whispered under her breath:

"Papa, I did try…"

Shivansh and Subhi noticed her crying.

They didn't say anything—but their thoughts screamed.

They both wished their sister would return to her bold old self—so that this uncle and the world could see why she chose psychology.

For a moment, Shivansh wanted to say:

"She's becoming a psychologist so she can fix people like you, uncle."

But… he didn't.

Because the so called morals said:

"He's older than you. Stay quiet."

Next Morning – Arrival in Lucknow

Both trains, coming from opposite directions, reached Lucknow.

From one train stepped out Siya, Shivansh, and Subhi.

From the other—Raghav, Bri, and Adi.

Though Adi was still in high school, he was preparing for NEET. And since he couldn't bear to stay away from Raghav and Bri, their parents sent him to Lucknow for his coaching.

All six of them were now on the same road, just across from each other, separated by traffic.

They didn't notice one another.

But just as they were boarding their taxis,a little boy while playing was about to came infront of the moving cars,Raghav saw and was about to go when Siya pulled back the boy .

She made him stand infront of hus mother and gave him a chocolate to normalise him and then was like speaking to him explaining him not to go on road like this.

Raghav caught a glimpse of a pair of sparkling eyes. Something that told him in this busy world some people are still present ,who cares for others.

Something inside him stirred.

He tried to look again—but the crowd and chaos distracted him.

He brushed it off as a random passerby, unaware that fate had just crossed his path with hers.

While Siya was interacting with the boy ,her father called her to come inside the taxi and what was she doing there, she wanted to tell them ,she wanted to be appreciated but the self doubt and growing distance from her family didn't allow her to speak.

A Little Later…

Siya's father dropped Siya and Subhi at their university gates.

They were in the same university—but pursuing different courses.

Then he left to drop Shivansh at his own college, in another part of the city. Not far from Siya and Subhi's university .

Siya nad Subhi part ways with Siya wishing all the best to her and leaving with a smile without even listening to the reply .

This was not her ego ,this was her pain, if a minute more she would have stood there, she would had cried because that path where Subhi was going to walk was once Siya chose for herself .

A MBBS student ,a doctor but now she was not ,she was not blaming anyone ,she wanted to tell them that no ,she is not a coward ,she didn't gave up ,just thay she was not able to handle the pressure of failing anymore.

As soon as Siya leaves ,Raghav enters after dropping Adi at his school ,and while talking with Bri ,by mistake he hits Subhi.

Subhi turns to see a handsome ,charming boy , and the plus point being he said sorry as soon as possible even though it was Subhi's fault .

He says sorry and moves but someone was left mesmerized .
