With this phone call, I finally felt much more at ease.

After the new year, there are still two fashion shows in the country, and I'll be so busy at the start of the year that I'll be run off my feet.
It might actually be a good thing, letting work fill my entire mind, so I won't miss Daniel Carter as much, or feel like time is dragging by.
Right before getting off work, I received a landline phone call.
"Hello."
"Hello, is this Lily Miller?" a polite yet authoritative voice inquired from the other end.
"Yes, may I ask who's calling?"
"Lady Miller, we are from national security. Is Mason Miller your brother? He has been arrested on suspicion of espionage, and we need the family to cooperate with our investigation. Can you come to the nearest police station?"
Holding my phone, I felt as if the sky had fallen upon hearing this!
