Calvin Yance and Cherry took me to the hospital room.
It was a spacious and luxurious family room.
"Ms. Lily, I'll stay with you tonight." Seeing the accompanying bed nearby, Cherry immediately said.
I frowned and said without hesitation, "No need, I'm not bedridden, I can manage on my own. Besides, maybe I can be discharged this afternoon."
In my heart, I still didn't want to stay in the hospital.
Especially after running into Daniel Carter in the corridor earlier, it made me even more resistant to being here.
I was afraid if I stayed, I might run into him again.
Then, with his cold and indifferent attitude as if we were strangers, my heart would shatter into pieces again.
What I feared more—
