Rayden took out two Consciousness Recovery Potions from his storage ring and handed them to Son Goku and Son Gohan.
Goku accepted the potion, scratching his head with a puzzled expression.
"Rayden, what's this for?"
Rayden explained patiently.
"Goku, when a lower-level Saiyan transforms into a Giant Ape, they usually lose control and go berserk. If you can't regain your consciousness in that state, you'll never reach Super Saiyan 4."
He held up the vial for emphasis.
"But if you drink this potion before transforming, you'll stay conscious and in control during the Golden Great Ape transformation."
(Most elite Saiyans like Vegeta retain control in Great Ape form, but lower-level or younger Saiyans may lose themselves to primal rage.)
Hearing that, Goku turned to Vegeta, who stood with arms crossed and a confident smirk.
"Vegeta, you're not going to take one?"
Vegeta couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Haha! Kakarot, I'm the Prince of All Saiyans! I don't need any potion to maintain control. I've mastered my instincts."
Rayden called out calmly, "Vegeta, form an artificial moon and launch it into the sky. Broly, Paragus, and I will go first and show you what Super Saiyan 4 really looks like."
"No problem!" Vegeta nodded.
Vegeta slowly extended his palm and began to condense a glowing sphere of energy. It grew larger and brighter with each passing second.
With a shout, he hurled the energy sphere into the air. It floated above them, illuminating the sky like a radiant full moon.
Suddenly—
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Rayden, Broly, and Paragus looked up at the glowing orb. Their heartbeats accelerated.
"Hoo—Ahhhh!!"
A blinding golden light burst around their bodies.
Before long, three colossal black-furred Great Apes, each dozens of meters tall, emerged before Goku and the others.
Then—
Their auras flared again. The dark fur began to shimmer and glow gold. Their primal screams echoed across the sky as their black-furred forms evolved into Golden Great Apes.
The massive forms shrank slowly as radiant energy swirled around them.
And then—
Flash!
A brilliant surge of power radiated outward.
Three new, feral figures stood where the apes once loomed—leaner, wilder, yet perfectly composed. Their torsos were covered in red fur, their hair darker and wilder than ever before, and their eyes intense.
Rayden, Broly, and Paragus had achieved Super Saiyan 4.

"So strong…" Vegeta muttered, his pride shaken for a moment. "It won't be long before I reach that level too!"
"Uncle Rayden, your transformation is awesome!" Gohan said, eyes glowing with excitement.
"Rayden… This is even stronger than Super Saiyan 3," Goku added, his jaw slightly open as he sensed their energy.
Rayden smiled calmly.
"You'll get there soon enough."
He raised his palm and gathered energy. A moment later, he fired a blast forward.
BOOM!
The Spirit Time Chamber rumbled as the wall cracked and a fissure opened.
"Let's head out."
Everyone stepped through the rift and exited the Spirit Time Chamber.

Heavenly Temple
"Dende, we accidentally destroyed the Spirit Time Chamber during training… Could you repair it later?" Rayden asked, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
Dende chuckled.
"It's alright, Rayden. I'm just glad you all made it out safely."
"Thanks. We'll be going now."
"Bye, Dende!"
The group flew off toward Capsule Corp.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
They landed in front of Bulma's home.
"Rayden?! Is that really you?" Bulma gasped, looking at his drastically changed appearance. "I almost didn't recognize you!"
Rayden replied, "This is the newest Super Saiyan transformation. Pretty cool, huh?"
Goku stepped forward.
"Bulma, could I borrow the Dragon Ball Radar?"
"Sure thing!" Bulma disappeared inside, then returned with the radar and handed it to Goku.
Zing!
Goku vanished in a flash, already on the hunt.
Bulma glanced at Gohan. "Wait… is that you, Gohan?"
Gohan laughed.
"Yes, Aunt Bulma. We were inside the Spirit Time Chamber for five years. I've grown a lot."
Rayden stretched. "Bulma, would you mind preparing some food for us?"
"No problem at all!"
She led them inside, where seven or eight robots promptly brought out plates of steaming food, stacked high.
Clatter! Clatter!
The sound of bowls and chopsticks filled the room as the hungry Saiyans devoured everything in sight.
Whoosh!
Goku reappeared suddenly, holding a bag.
"Rayden, you guys didn't even wait for me!"
"You took too long," Vegeta grumbled.
"That's my drumstick, Kakarot."
"Don't be so stingy, Vegeta," Goku said as he grabbed it anyway and stuffed it into his mouth.
Piccolo took a sip of water and shook his head in resignation.
Half an hour later, everyone leaned back in satisfaction.
Rayden turned to Goku.
"Did you find the Dragon Balls?"
"Yep!"
Goku pulled out all seven glowing Dragon Balls from his bag.
"Kakarot, hurry up and summon Shenron," Vegeta said impatiently.
"Thanks for the food, Bulma!"
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Everyone flew off to a nearby uninhabited island.

Uninhabited Island
"Come forth, Shenron! Grant my wish!" Goku shouted.
The seven Dragon Balls lit up and pulsed with energy. A dazzling light shone upward into the sky.
With a thunderous roar, Shenron appeared from the heavens, his long, serpentine body coiling through the clouds.
"State your wish. I will grant any one within my power."
Goku stepped forward.
"Shenron, please restore the tails of Vegeta, Gohan, and me."
"That wish is simple."
Shenron's eyes glowed, and the three Saiyans instantly felt something stir behind them.
Their tails had regrown.
"Yes! I can finally transform into Super Saiyan 4!" Vegeta shouted in excitement.
"You have two more wishes. State them now."
Goku looked over.
"Rayden, do you want anything?"
Rayden nodded.
"Shenron, please unlock and maximize Piccolo's latent potential."
"A simple task."
A white aura surrounded Piccolo as his body surged with new strength.
"Thank you, Rayden," Piccolo said sincerely.
"One wish remains," Shenron said.
Rayden thought for a moment.
"Shenron, can you provide soil from the Divine Realm suitable for growing Spirit Trees?"
"I'm sorry. The Spirit Tree grows only in the Divine Realm. I cannot grant that wish."
Rayden sighed slightly.
"Then… please unlock Cell's full potential."
"Very well."
A glowing white light enveloped Cell.
"Your wish has been granted. Farewell!"
With that, Shenron vanished. The Dragon Balls scattered across the sky, turning to stone until they would reactivate again.

Back on the ground, Vegeta turned to the others.
"Kakarot, Gohan—drink the potion. It's time."
"Alright!" Goku and Gohan each drank their Consciousness Recovery Potion in a single gulp.
Once they finished, Vegeta raised his hand and formed another artificial moon. He tossed it into the sky, illuminating everything below.
"Hoooo—AAAAAH!"
The three Saiyans began transforming into Black Giant Apes.
Suddenly, Goku lost control and started beating his chest violently.
"ROAR!!!"
He lashed out, striking Vegeta with a wild punch.
"Rayden! Is your potion defective?" Vegeta growled.
"Haha! Just kidding!" Goku laughed. "It worked perfectly—I'm in control now!"
"Kakarot! You're lucky I didn't blast you!" Vegeta roared, charging an energy blast in his mouth.
"Hey, let's finish the transformation first," Goku suggested, grinning.
"Hmph. Fine."
The three of them released their full power.
Their bodies glowed gold, and they morphed into Golden Great Apes.
Then, with a blinding flash, they each shrank down, and when the light faded, they emerged in their powerful Super Saiyan 4 forms.
Vegeta clenched his fists and looked at Goku.
"This time, I'm stronger than you!"
Goku chuckled. "We'll see about that!"
Boom!
The two flew into the sky and clashed instantly.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Their punches echoed like thunder.
"This power is insane!" Goku shouted mid-battle. "I can't even control it fully yet!"
Vegeta smirked and delivered a sharp kick.
WHAM!
Goku went flying, crashing into a nearby mountain and disappearing under a pile of rubble.
