Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Can I Graduate Early?

Although many people voiced their objections, in their eyes, the grouping of Class 7 was absolutely outrageous.

It was even more unbelievable than the traditional Ino–Shika–Cho combination that had been passed down for generations!

But Iruka couldn't do anything about it.

He had no authority to decide team formations. This entire arrangement was the decision of the Third Hokage.

Iruka was just the messenger delivering the news.

With the class divisions finalized, the black screen displayed a new figure—the Copy Ninja, Hatake Kakashi!

Of course, he made a classic entrance: lazily holding a copy of Icha Icha Paradise, with an expression of apathy and a slightly suspicious aura of kidney deficiency.

At that moment, Naruto from the alternate world realized that the real test would be held the next day.

Those who failed would be sent back to the Academy!

However, Naruto didn't seem bothered by this news.

He soon understood the reasoning behind letting the Jōnin lead the final assessment. It made sense. After all, it would be far too shallow to let ninja graduates pass with just the basic Three Body Technique.

---

Uzumaki Naruto: "Huh? The Three Body Technique is difficult too, okay!"

Haruno Sakura: "Maybe it's only difficult for you, Naruto?"

Inuzuka Kiba: "She's right. Even my Akamaru can perform the Three Body Technique!"

Inuzuka Hana: "Kiba, that was too harsh. But it's true. Our Inuzuka clan's ninja dogs have no trouble learning basic ninjutsu!"

Naruto Uzumaki: "..."

Uzumaki Naruto: "Wait... Am I worse than a dog?! (Unbelievable!)"

---

Namikaze Minato: "It's okay, Naruto. In that world, you held your own against the Demon Zabuza. Don't forget—you're the hero of the Land of Waves!"

Uzumaki Naruto: "That's right! Who cares about the Three Body Technique? I'll still be amazing even if I don't master it!"

---

Then, Kakashi began introductions.

> "My name is Hatake Kakashi. I have no particular likes or dislikes."

His face was as expressionless as ever, giving off a detached, world-weary aura.

Naruto internally rolled his eyes, as always.

> "Who are you trying to impress with that attitude?"

> "If you have no desires, then what's Icha Icha Paradise doing in your hand?"

> "Do you really think I don't understand anything?"

---

Hatake Kakashi: "..."

Kakashi was caught off guard.

Kids these days really knew too much.

---

Next came Sasuke.

> "My name is Uchiha Sasuke. I don't particularly like anything, but I dislike a lot of things."

> "I don't really have a dream, but I do have an ambition."

> "To restore the Uchiha clan... and kill a certain someone."

Kakashi immediately understood who Sasuke was referring to.

---

Then it was Sakura's turn.

> "My name is Haruno Sakura. Is there someone I like…?"

She subtly glanced at Naruto before shifting her gaze to Sasuke.

A classic dilemma—Naruto or Sasuke. She couldn't choose!

---

Finally, Naruto stepped forward.

> "My name is Uzumaki Naruto. I don't want to talk about what I hate."

> "But as for my dream…"

> "I want to rebuild the Whirlpool Kingdom!"

Kakashi's indifferent mask momentarily slipped.

He was clearly surprised.

For someone so young to have such a grand dream... it was impressive.

> As expected from the son of my teacher!

Still, Kakashi remained calm on the surface.

He decided he needed to observe Naruto more closely.

---

> "Tomorrow, meet at the training ground at 5 a.m. sharp!"

> "Bring all your ninja tools."

> "And don't eat breakfast—unless you want to puke!"

After issuing those instructions, Kakashi vanished in a puff of white smoke.

---

Sakura was about to approach Naruto for a conversation when—poof!—he vanished too, leaving only Sasuke behind.

Sakura awkwardly turned to him.

> "Sasuke, want to go for a walk together?"

Sasuke ignored her and walked away without saying a word.

---

> "Ugh! Did neither of them notice my charm?!"

---

Yamanaka Ino: "Hahaha! Sakura, I gave you the chance and you still failed! You really are useless."

Haruno Sakura: "Shut up, pig-headed Ino! You're just jealous of me in the other world!"

Yamanaka Ino: "Please, Sasuke and Naruto will eventually realize I'm the one best suited for them!"

Nara Shikamaru: "Didn't you hear what Naruto said? He wants to rebuild the Whirlpool Kingdom. Maybe both of you will end up marrying him!"

---

Sakura and Ino kept bickering in the group chat, paying no attention to Shikamaru's surprisingly accurate analysis.

Neither of them realized it yet...

But slowly and unconsciously,

The Sakura and Ino of this world... were becoming jealous of Naruto from another world.

As they continued arguing,

Naruto from this world could only watch and sigh in envy.

> If only I could have both Sakura and Ino liking me at the same time…

> Wouldn't that be a spiral takeoff?

---

Meanwhile, Naruto from the black screen didn't spend his night preparing for the assessment.

Instead, he dispelled all the shadow clones he had stationed throughout the village, then got a full night's sleep.

---

The next morning, just as the sun rose, Naruto woke up early.

He made himself a hearty, delicious breakfast before heading to the meeting point.

---

Uzumaki Kushina: "I never thought our Naruto could cook!"

Namikaze Minato: "Yeah, he's surprisingly capable."

Kakashi: "Meanwhile, the Naruto from this world is still drinking expired milk at this hour."

Naruto Uzumaki: "..."

---

> "Hey, Naruto. Didn't that silver-haired guy say not to eat breakfast?" the Nine-Tails warned him.

Naruto snorted at the remark.

> "So what? If I run into an enemy on an empty stomach, do I just pass out?"

> "Or maybe they'll forbid me from using ninjutsu, so I'll have to rely on taijutsu only?"

> "Think about it, Big Fox. Isn't that just dumb?"

Even the Nine-Tails was stunned by Naruto's reasoning.

He had to admit—this kid was different from the previous Jinchūriki.

His impression of Naruto improved a little.

---

Eventually, Naruto arrived at the training ground.

Sasuke and Sakura were already there, but Kakashi hadn't shown up yet.

> "Maybe he got lost…" Sakura suggested.

Seeing this as a chance to start a conversation, Sakura shared some information she had gathered.

> "You may not know this, but our teacher Kakashi isn't as unreliable as he seems."

> "He graduated from the Ninja Academy at five, became a Chūnin at six, and reached Jōnin level by twelve!"

> "He was recruited into the Anbu shortly after."

Sasuke's eyes widened slightly.

Kakashi really was something.

He thought of his brother, Uchiha Itachi, who entered the Academy at six, graduated at seven, awakened his Sharingan at eight, became Chūnin at ten, and joined Anbu at eleven.

Comparing the two, Kakashi might be even more gifted.

> If I follow Kakashi, maybe I'll learn how to defeat Itachi…

Sasuke's young mind still held innocent hopes.

---

As for Naruto, he was filled with regret.

But it wasn't because he underestimated Kakashi the day before.

No—this was the first time he realized...

You could graduate from the Academy early?!

> Why didn't anyone tell me?!

> I mastered the Three Body Technique in just one day!

> If I'd known, I wouldn't have wasted so much time in that stupid school!

Uzumaki Naruto could only sigh in frustration.

> What a waste!
