Waking up felt so refreshing. The gentle sea breeze rippled across the water, just like Lynn's unrestrained heart.
Seeing Lynn staring at her, Nami couldn't help but glare. "What are you looking at? You're just like a pig!"
Lynn quickly shook his head. This woman was beautiful, but her personality was too terrible. Definitely not a suitable partner!
Luffy, sitting at the bow, suddenly shouted, "Look! There's an island ahead!"
Everyone immediately perked up. Finally, they could get ashore!
As soon as they stepped onto the island, Zoro instinctively stomped on the ground and sighed, "It's so much more solid on land."
Lynn smiled. "Of course I feel relieved. Now I can finally buy some wine."
Luffy quickly interrupted, "What are you waiting for? Eat! Eat!"
Nami rolled her eyes. "Shouldn't you find a ship first? That little thing you came on can't sail very far."
They walked a bit further when Zoro suddenly warned, "Luffy, be careful!"
"Biu biu biu…"
A few marbles shot across the ground.
"Space field…"
Usopp — the long-nosed, marble-shooting guy who spent his days idle and telling tall tales — suddenly appeared right in front of Lynn.
Lynn flicked Usopp's nose and exclaimed, "Come and see, his nose is real! Hey, where did you get your nose done?"
Everyone paled, and three children hiding in the woods were so terrified they abandoned Usopp and ran away.
Originally, Usopp had seen the pirate flag on Luffy's ship and thought pirates were invading the village. After some quick planning, Usopp and the kids decided to scare the pirates off.
Who knew that after firing just a few shots, Usopp would suddenly find himself at the foot of a towering cliff, right in front of Lynn?
At that moment, Usopp didn't hear Lynn's words at all. Instead, he stared at the cliff above and then ahead, saying calmly, "What did you do to me? Listen up, pirates—I have 8,000 men. If you don't leave, I'll order them to attack!"
Luffy stepped forward. "Your name's Usopp, right? Your dad is Yasopp?"
Usopp blinked, surprised. "How do you know my father? Yeah, that's his name—Yasopp."
Luffy smiled. "I knew your dad when I was a kid. He was on Shanks' ship back then. It's really nostalgic... Hahaha! When I first saw you, I guessed you were Yasopp's son because you two look exactly alike!"
Usopp was amazed. "Really? I never expected my dad to be on such a famous pirate ship. Is he still sailing with Shanks?"
Luffy shook his head. "We haven't met for years, but he should still be there."
Usopp laughed. "Since you know my father, we're friends! I'll treat you to a meal!"
Luffy's eyes lit up. "Really? You're such a good guy, Usopp!"
Nami quickly sidestepped away from Luffy, thinking, What's gotten into him? Oh my god...
As they moved forward, Usopp suddenly turned to Lynn, asking, "How did you teleport me just now? Are you some kind of monster?"
Lynn rolled his eyes. "I ate the Space-Space Fruit. I can freely control everything in the space I create—people, objects, whatever."
Everyone except Luffy looked at Lynn in surprise.
Usopp exclaimed, "Your ability is incredible! So… does that mean you're invincible?"
Lynn smiled. "Invincible? There are many powers you don't know about. It's too complicated to explain now—you'll just have to discover them yourselves."
Usopp sighed. "The sea really is full of wonders. I didn't think Devil Fruits were real."
Nami smiled. "What's so strange? Luffy's also a Devil Fruit user."
Luffy turned his head, stretching his cheeks. "I ate the Rubber Fruit."
"Nani!!" Usopp was startled.
Lynn sneered, "What a fuss! Zoro here can wield three swords at the same time!"
Usopp looked Zoro up and down. "If you use one sword in each hand, how do you use the third?"
Zoro rolled his eyes. "You guys are so annoying—just hurry and go into the village!"
Lynn whispered to Usopp, "Bite the remaining sword with your mouth and swing it around—amazing, right?"
Zoro glared. "believe it or not, I'll chop you both to pieces!"
They all burst out laughing.
...
"Cheers…"
Usopp led a small group into a local shop for a meal.
He couldn't help but ask, "Zoro, you're the famous pirate hunter, right? Sugoi!!"
Zoro explained, "I'm no longer a hunter—I'm on their ship now."
After eating for a bit, Nami asked, "Usopp, since Luffy knows your dad, can you find us someone in the village who can steer a boat—a big ship?"
Usopp replied, "This is a small village. Sorry to disappoint you."
Zoro smiled. "There's a big villa on the hill."
Nami asked, "Is he your friend? Can you ask him to help with some money?"
Usopp waved it off. "That won't work. Oh! I just remembered I have something to do. I'm pretty close to the boss here. You guys just eat and drink—I'm out."
Several people watched Usopp rush out of the shop, and Nami sighed, feeling down.
Looking at the carefree villagers, Nami asked, "Aren't you worried you won't be able to sail without a ship or a navigator?"
Luffy reassured her, "Don't worry, Nami—there will always be a ship. Let's eat first. Hey! Lynn, that's my chicken leg!"
Zoro sneered, "Lynn, you bastard, go order the wine yourself..."
Nami slapped her forehead. I'm so tired...
"Mmm, I'm so full…"
Suddenly, three children who had escaped from the coast rushed into the store. One stepped forward, asking, "What did you do to our Captain Usopp?"
Apparently, after running away, the kids came back to save Usopp. Looking at Luffy's bulging belly, they gasped in horror.
"You guys aren't going to... give Usopp to—"
Zoro gave a mischievous grin. "That's right! Your Captain Usopp has been eaten by us, hehehe..."
"A monster...!"
