The sun had barely begun to peek over the horizon, illuminating the grounds of the Water Estate just enough to make it out it's familiar layout. The terrain was still far too flat for her liking… However Giyuu wasn't given much of a choice considering the circumstances. It was a challenge in itself, that was how she'd look at this. Stepping towards the gravel, the Water Pillar crotched down to place her palm on it to test the temperature. It was slightly warm, once the sun was fully up in the sky, they should become quite uncomfortably hot. Perhaps she could use that in the training. They weren't able to use the uneven terrain around the Wind Estate while tensions were so high between the three boys and Sanemi. While there were quite a bit of trees surrounding the Water Estate, the roots attached to said trees run deeper underground rather than above. Giyuu could possibly use the area for training, however it would be more towards dodging the trees while battling someone. Which she supposes will be useful. There was still useful footwork she could have them do. Pressing her palm against her jaw, Giyuu pushed until a satisfying crack came from it. She sighed, shaking out her hands as she began wondering the grounds to gather items that would be useful. Thankfully she still had a few items from when she was solo training with Tanjiro before any of her Pillar Training began. That didn't stop her from feeling like she was starting at square one all over again.
…
Once the boys had woken up, Giyuu quickly sent them off to the market with a hefty amount of money and a generous shopping list. After all, the kitchen was empty and there were now four of them that needed to eat after a hard day of training. Which she told them will begin once they return and the rations were put away. The three bowed their heads and made fast work heading towards the village. It gave Giyuu possibly a few hours depending on their speed. However she'll use that time wisely.
…
Giyuu squinted, once again, Tanjiro seemed to have outshone the sun so early in the morning by how brightly he was beaming. Even with bruises still on his body, he was smiling so eagerly. The other two on either side of him seemed to be wincing at the brightness as well. "We're ready for your training, Tomioka-san!"
"That's great to hear, Tanjiro…" Giyuu blinked, adjusting her vision. "I'd like to apologize that this won't be as organized as my training at the Wind Estate. However, it will have to do all things considering." Tanjiro was the first to shout that it was alright, the other two giving her firm nods. Taking hold of the few bokkens she had, Giyuu tossed them towards the trio. Each thankfully were able to catch them easily. "We'll begin with singular footwork. Then the same while sparring with each other." Once again the boys nodded.
After showing what was simple footwork in her humble opinion, the two began as they were told. The moment Tanjiro happily began, Giyuu pulled him by the collar of his shirt. "Not so fast, Tanjiro… These are all things you already know." The boy turned to her with such wide eyes, ready to take in whatever it is she has to say. "While I can't hold a candle to his training… I do, however, often spar with Sanemi nightly. So please allow me to teach you infinite striking with the best of my abilities."
Tanjiro's face beamed, smile growing wide! "Please show me all that you can!" He bowed his head deeply. Giyuu nodded, taking hold of the wooden hilt, leading Tanjiro some distance away so that they wouldn't interfere with the others' training.
"Very good." Giyuu stood, raising her bokken up to Tanjiro, who wore a determined expression. "Please give it your all…" the boy shouted a loud 'I will!' before Giyuu charged him.
…
Guilt unfortunately swirled in her stomach as Tanjiro flew go the hard ground once more. He was panting heavily, holding onto his side that she had just delivered a harsh blow to. Relentlessly however, Tanjiro managed to stand back up, gripping his bokken and running towards her again and again. Their training swords clanked together, sending vibrations up and down the wooden blades. Pivoting on her foot, Giyuu gave a strong hit to Tanjiro's torso, knocking the air out of him. As he gasped on the ground, Giyuu pointed the sword towards him as he trembled, attempting to stand. "Rest for a moment while I speak with the other two." She instructed, patting his head as she walked past him to the two men also sparring, yet nowhere near as intensely as theirs was. The sun had fully risen in the sky by now.
Using her bokken, she easily disrupted their concentration. "Take off your shoes." She instructed, the two seemed confused yet begun to do as she was told. Both noticed near immediately what the intention was the moment their bare foot hit the burning, sharp gravel.
"Ouch!!" The blonde cried out.
"Continue." She replied to the cry of pain.
"Continue?! You want us to continue like this?!"
"I do." Giyuu replied flatly.
"This is torture!" He shouted while the other; Genya, seemed to appear uncomfortable, yet remained quiet.
"It's the best we can do with the situation."
"I'd like to see you try this!" The boy who insisted on being called Zenitsu, pointed accusingly at her. Sighing, Giyuu removed her sandals along with her tabi till she was barefoot. Her callous feet stepped over the burning rocks, holding her bokken up, she began swinging harshly at the blonde. Earning her loud and pained shrieking as he was forced to move on the hot rocks.
"Your feet will build up a resistance." Giyuu informed him, spinning on her right foot, not caring that the shards dug in, delivering a strong finishing blow to his torso with her left foot. Much like Tanjiro, she had knocked the wind out of him. Glancing towards the other boy, he flinched slightly at her gaze. "Do you have any complaints?"
"N-no!" Genya replied loudly.
"Good. Then please begin." Giyuu stepped off the hot rocks, making her way back towards Tanjiro who had regained his breath while sitting on the ground. She didn't see much reason to place her sandals back on at this point, plus her feet could breathe now in the fresh albeit humid air. "Stand up. We're going again."
"Yes, Giyuu-san!" Tanjiro sprung up, bokken at the ready. With a firm nod, Giyuu once again charged him.
….
Much like the rule that the Wind Estate followed, once the sun began to set, Giyuu allowed the trio to cease their training and turn in for the night to do whatever it is they please. Giyuu however, needed to recharge momentarily, the constant stress from this and the previous day had given her a rather strong tension headache in her temples. Her silence unfortunately didn't last long.
"Excuse me…"
Giyuu looked over her shoulder, she was truly hoping to have more time than forty minutes to escape the boys, however that doesn't seem to be the plan apparently. This time however, it wasn't Tanjiro that came to bother her. The one that stood a few feet away from her… was Sanemi's younger brother. Genya... "Yes?"
The tall yet young boy shifted his gaze around the forest, looking unsure of himself. "May…May I speak with you?" Giyuu blinked, not expecting that. Genya and herself haven't exactly spoken together much. While she noticed the boy also had a temper like his older brother, there was a softness on the surface as well. Giyuu nodded, gesturing Genya closer to her and to sit wherever he'd like. With hesitation, he sat on a fallen tree not far from her. Silence took up the space, Giyuu welcomed it knowing it wouldn't last forever. "You…" Genya began cautiously, looking at the ground then towards the horizon. "I-I was told that you and my brother… are close." He said close in an odd manner, but it wasn't her place to judge.
"I suppose you could say that." For weeks the two did everything together; while it was all for the sake of the Demon Slayer Corps, the air of domesticity was strong, addictive. If she truly wanted to be honest with herself… She missed the routine together dearly.
Genya gave a curt nod. "This… is probably stupid and pointless to ask… But I keep on thinking about it and can't get it off my mind." He began, not turning to look at her, which she truly appreciated, both were simply gazing out into the open sky ahead. "Had… had my brother ever… had he ever spoken about me before..?" The question was asked quietly, a sense of sad desperation behind it.
Apprehension filled Giyuu's veins… During the conversation she and Sanemi had last night, if anyone could truly call it that… She had learned quite a bit of their childhood, what they suffered from in the form of their father and a terrible fate. From the view point she was given… Sanemi protected and cared for all his siblings while their father was absent and mother struggled taking care of so many children by herself. He lost out on his childhood to parent his younger siblings. Out of six siblings… Genya was the only survivor. While he didn't say it by name; with the context clues given… Their mother had been turned into a demon, Sanemi did what he had to, to ensure at least one of his siblings survived. Sanemi had left him with someone he believed would take care of him and give him a normal life that he couldn't have… However, how could she say that to the boy? The guilt of knowing his brother gave up a normal life so he'd survive… Savior's guilt is a terrible burden…
"Ah…" Giyuu glanced at Genya who sighed, a look of defeat on his scarred face. Seems he took her silence for an answer. "So he hasn't… I should have expected that. After all, he doesn't exactly want me around-"
"Don't go assuming things just because I haven't spoken yet." Giyuu rebutted, adjusting herself on the single large boulder near her estate. "… I knew of you. But I didn't know about you." Even with something so little, the teen snapped his neck towards her, eyes wide and raw, anticipating any other information she could give him. "We… Sanemi and I don't often speak of our… of our families." Giyuu took a breath, the memories of seeing her hair braided in that mirror came crawling back in her stomach unpleasantly. "We…we both lost people very dear to us, and sometimes… it's better to focus on the present. I know that wasn't the answer you were looking for, but he had told me he has a little brother. That being you."
While what she told him wasn't much of anything, Genya still smiled softly, gazing back up at the peach sky. "I know it's pathetic… but just the fact he called me his brother to you, makes me happy." She had remembered Sanemi shouting to her that he doesn't have a brother, more than likely he screamed that at Genya out of frustration of him still being in the Demon Slayer Corps after he told him to drop out. Giyuu understood unfortunately what Sanemi was doing. He was trying to distance himself from Genya, in hopes he gives up and forms a regular life.
"Sanemi… he," Giyuu focused hard on how to say this without telling too much, it wasn't her business to say anything really. "He isn't the best at dealing with strong emotions…" It was an overly simple explanation. "We had a fight once because of it. He had avoided me for a whole week." There was an underlying twitch of annoyance still under her skin from that. He had kissed her, then immediately set fire to the bridge before even getting her response.
A small bubble of a laugh came from Genya. "When I look back on things, I think he's always been like that." He smiled, shoulders relaxing, for the first time in who knows how long, he was able to share memories with someone who didn't just believe his brother was a maniac. "Aniki always put our needs before his own. If something bothered him, he'd just ignore it and pretend it wasn't there." The boy looked up at the single drifting cloud. "There was a time when Aniki had a disagreement with a village boy he was friends with. Aniki would take a completely different route to the market just to avoid walking past where that kid lived at the time. If someone spoke the boy's name, he'd change the subject or completely disregard what was asked. It took I think about a month for them to talk again." Genya chuckled at the memory. "Their fight was about a beetle they found while running errands! I don't remember the species anymore, but they were fighting about what type of bug it was!"
Humming in acknowledgment, while Giyuu appreciated the insight on who Sanemi used to be, the information that she wasn't the only one he had done that to, it was a bit of an irritant to know this was just how he dealt with things. Meaning it'll most likely happen again…
The two sat in a pleasant silence for some time, listening to the sounds of summertime insects and watching the sky change color. Genya then cleared his throat in an awkward manner. "Um… C-can I ask one more thing..?"
"You may." Replied Giyuu.
The boy was fidgety, seemingly looking for the right words to ask whatever was on his mind much like Giyuu had done moments ago. He took in a deep breath, letting it out too quickly. "Is—is it true? What Zenitsu said? About you and my brother?" Genya made an effort not to look in Giyuu's direction, opting for staring at the ground.
Clicking her tongue. "That idiot needs to learn to mind his own business." She sighed frustratedly, keeping her gaze ahead at the horizon. "However… yes, we are. I'm sorry, I'm sure this isn't the way you planned on finding out about your older brother's relationship." In a normal life, it would be announced that he is courting someone. Of course their lives weren't normal, they didn't get that luxury. They weren't courting. That shouldn't make her stomach twist. She knew going into this he didn't want that life with her and she shouldn't create a fantasy she could never survive long enough to live in.
"A-ah, don't— I'm not like against it o-or anything!" Genya quickly stumbled through his words. "I just didn't realize Aniki was— that. And nothing wrong with that! L-like Oda Nobunaga!* He was a fierce warrior!" The boy rambled frantically.
"Ah… he was." Giyuu had definitely heard of that samurai's name before and knew of his accomplishments, though rather unaware of why he was compared to their relationship. She wasn't a mind reader, couldn't understand why Genya had associated the two subjects together, but didn't feel all that bothered by it. She saw out of the corner of her eye, Genya groaning into his hands.
"I'm messing this up, sorry… What I'm trying to say is that I'm happy Aniki is able to find someone he loves and that I approve of it!" He got out in one breath, then seemed to have noticed something wrong with what he said. "N-not that you two needed my approval to be together! I just thought—!"
Interrupting the distressed boy, "Don't stress yourself." Giyuu turned towards him, gaze at his nose to stimulate looking at his eyes. "I appreciate knowing that you approve of us, you're his family. So it makes me happy knowing his family approves of me." And it was true. They would never have a traditional life as most do, no courting or marriage… but to hear his sole remaining family member approved of her, it made her chest feel warm. She avoided saying that his brother loving her was a far fetch… Giyuu believed he had begun to care deeply for her… But she didn't wish to pretend that he could love her. It would be too cruel to do even to herself.
"Phew… Thank you." Genya sighed, standing up from the fallen tree and brushing his pants of dirt. "I'll let you be— oh! Tanjiro said he is going to start dinner soon!" He appeared to have remembered the main reason he had come out here. No doubt he volunteered to inform her about dinner to use as an excuse to speak with her, however was so caught up in that mindset he had forgotten. Giyuu nodded, giving a small thanks as she kept herself seated on the stone, listening to him walk back towards the Water Estate.
….
By the time, Giyuu had returned to her estate, the sun had just about set, entering inside, she could hear the muffled voices of the teens all in the kitchen, arguing on what to make for dinner. Each shouting out a dish they could make with the list provided that morning.
"Giyuu-san, is that you?" Tanjiro called down the hall.
"Yes." Giyuu replied just loud enough to have the boy hear her. This felt domestic…
"What would you like for dinner?" Tanjiro shouted.
Very domestic… "I don't care. I'm going to take a bath, make whatever you like."
"Darn! Alright! Enjoy your bath, Giyuu-san!" He called once more. Ah, it seems he was trying to use her as a tie breaker of some sorts since they couldn't decide what to make… That wasn't her problem however.
….
The bath was too quiet… Normally she loved silent, calm soaking in hot water… Closing her eyes, she sighed watching the pictures play out of all the times Sanemi would touch her during their washing routine. The times she touched him as well. Seemed they both enjoyed when she'd wash his hair for him, the normally dominant man would easily turn to puddy when her dull nails gave his scalp a good scritching. Groaning and leaning into the touch. While it was lovely when he washed her hair, both seemed more excited when he'd wash her body. Thoroughly lathering every inch of her skin. He'd always give her a mean pinch around her breast and ass, though as much as she pretends to be annoyed by it, both knew she truly wasn't. After all, he'd always make it up to her…
Giyuu sighed, this wasn't the time for lewd memories… At the moment there was tension between them… Though with how she left the bamboo garden, she truly hopes the next time she sees him things have settled… She craved things to go back to normal… Staying at the Wind Estate, while she didn't care much about training the lower ranking members, but afterwards, she and Sanemi would write their reports together in the tea room while eating dinner. Then the two would spar against each other for an hour or so, till they worked up a satisfying burn and had a layer of sweat over their skin. Normally, bathing wasn't something she'd say she was excited about… however bathing with Sanemi was a different experience. If they weren't all over each other as they undressed, then washing their bodies was very distracting; the whole thing felt like foreplay. Some days, the sessions they have in the bathing room is enough. Others, they would go at each other again the moment they attempt to sleep in each other's arms. One would shift, then the other would shift… before either truly knew what was happening, they'd be grinding against each other and deeply kissing, leading into a whole nother sexual session between them. It would end in some of the best sleep of her life… And she'd wake up in his arms in the morning… Giyuu would love to do that every day…
…
Down the dim hallway; seems Tanjiro remembered she wasn't keen on lighting all the lanterns, it was filled with a mouth watering aroma. Following the scent, Giyuu was led to the small kitchen in the estate, all three of the boys were still preparing the meal it seemed. She was rather satisfied to see that yellow haired boy doing the clean up rather than cooking.
"Ah, Giyuu-san! We're almost finished! How was your bath?" Tanjiro asked while glancing over his shoulder, he seemed to be making the main portion of the dish.
"It was alright. Ah, the large bath isn't cleaned… I never use that one. So you three can use the smaller one I did in the hall." Giyuu informed them, glancing over Tanjiro's shoulder at the sizzling fish. Looked good…
"Thank you, Giyuu-san! A bath would be lovely after dinner!" Tanjiro beamed through kept his eyes on the pan. Giyuu gave a small nod, glancing towards the tall boy, Genya. The boy had his back towards them, chopping away, seemingly making a side portion of greens for the fish. She truly hoped it was not that radish salad the other boy made last time… Taking a few steps towards him, she mentally sighed seeing it looked far better than the last side she had with Tanjiro. Fresh chopped greens with sesame seeds and hints of color from other veggies.
"Are you also skilled at cooking? I'm curious if Sanemi has ever taught you." Giyuu asked softly, not sure if she should speak about Sanemi with Tanjiro still in the room. Though knowing him, he wouldn't mind. Even if the boy was holding a grudge, he was too kind to ask her not to speak about the person.
"Ha, no. I can only do the bare minimum. Aniki was the one who took care of-" Genya had turned his head to her, optimistic for her question about his brother, though it suddenly dropped. His eyes immediately darted down, taking in her stay at home yukata. "Eh—!" All of a sudden, his face turned red and he looked away. "Wait—!"
"Huh?" Giyuu quickly looked down at her own clothing and body, a flash of fear that she may have been exposed somewhere. However, she was completely covered, the fabric part in her yukata was tightly closed with her obi. Which raises the question on why Genya was suddenly so flushed. "Are you alright..?"
"I—I just thought—" He was practically covering his face, turned away from her still. "I—I feel really foolish right now!" Genya confessed.
"Why..?" Giyuu furrowed her brows, not comprehending why the teen would be reacting this way. The boy groaned in his hands.
"I-I really thought… I mean I didn't realize—" he was fumbling over his words.
Their conversation from earlier came front and center in her mind. 'L-like Oda Nobunaga!' Oda Nobunaga… while he had many accomplishments as a warrior… a rather public fact was that he had a male lover at a time… "Ah, you thought I was a man." It wasn't a question. The boy's face seemed to do the impossible and get even redder.
"I-I am so sorry!" He bowed his head low, eyes screwed shut and face red up to his ears.
"There's no need to apologize. I get this rather often." Though, she has noticed more and more corps members do seem to know she is a woman now. The logical explanation is that those that know have been telling others. While it upsets Giyuu that people are speaking about her behind her back… it does feel a touch good that those coming to her training know that she's a woman and still give her respect. That also may be because of the several men she sent to the Butterfly Mansion… Nevertheless it was an improvement. "Ah…" That's right… Even though Genya thought she was a male, he was still very supportive of her and Sanemi's relationship. A small smile tugged on her lips. "Thank you for still approving of me even though you thought I was a man."
Genya bashfully looked up towards her while his head was still in a bow. "Of course I would. Aniki loves you, so no matter who you were… I'd accept you because he cares for you."
Giyuu's heart was suddenly thumping in her chest wildly. This damn boy used that dreadful word again… She cursed it for making her feel like a fool. "I see…" how badly she wanted to deny it and push down the rising warmth that began in her body. He does care about her… is lustful after her when the mood is heated. That terrible four letter word, the pain it caused her... Sanemi couldn't burden himself to love her… And she couldn't curse him to say that she loved him. He meant far too much to her.
Giyuu couldn't think of what else she could possibly say…So she bowed her head softly to the boy that stood up straighter, face still a bit rosy from his embrassment through a gentle smile on his face nonetheless. Turning her back on the boys, thankful neither of the other two appeared to have been listening in on the conversation. Zenitsu was scrubbing the dishes like they insulted him and Tanjiro was being rather tactical with watching the fish. While she should stay and help… Giyuu just wished to be alone for the moment…
…
Stepping into the dark room, Giyuu took two of the thin incense kept in a decorative tray. Somberly making her way to the altar, Giyuu took in the pink bow and broken mask that laid on top, just illuminated enough to be visible by the light peeking in from the thin screen. Taking in a strained breath… Giyuu replaced the scented sticks in their holders, striking a match and gently lighting the two. Thin waves of smoke danced in the darkness as she sat on the well worn cushion. This was part of what she planned on doing yesterday when she visited the Water Estate. It's what she routinely did when returning to the estate, giving respect to those she loved… Those whose fates were sealed the moment she told them she loved them…
….
….
The days passed in a blur.
The four would meet at the gravel grounds at the crack of dawn, Giyuu created as many obstacles and training she could for the two that she could before deeming they were fit enough to pass her Water Pillar training. She made a note not to mention to Sanemi when she saw him again that his brother may have gotten stabbed with one of the sharpened stakes she used in their reflex training. He took the injury well, quickly walking it off… She briefly wondered if he had gained a higher pain tolerance from consuming demons. The topic was brought up only once, and it was solely for the purpose of them not beating around the bush with her. Giyuu knew and wasn't going to encourage nor punish him for using that tatic. The few times she watched him attempt a breathing style, she was surprised to watch him go into a coughing then huffing fit. It was as if he couldn't gather and hold enough air in his lungs. She had given him some mint to chew to ease his lungs. As the days persisted, she had noticed in the start he hardly ate or drank anything, however now the boy eats the amount she expected a growing teenage boy to eat. While it wasn't her place to pry, she did wonder if it had anything involved with demons not being able to consume human food any longer… perhaps a side effect.
Once their training was done for the day, Giyuu would write out her report alone in her bedroom… It was there she discovered just how pathetic she truly was. Of course Giyuu knew she'd miss the brutal man's company, however she wasn't expecting it to this extent. There was no prediction that her chest would feel so empty and heart longing to be near him again. The small futon that laid in her room suddenly felt too large, and felt cold even in the warm summer nights. Giyuu craved for Sanemi's arms around her body, his surprisingly passionate kisses that left their mark on her skin and would bruise her lips.
Giyuu buried her face in her hands, sighing frustratedly. Hearing her woes, Kanzaburo gently hopped towards her, tilting his head up to her face, he gave one strong hop and settled in her lap. The old crow gently tilted his head once more, offering his pin feathers for her to preen for him as a distraction. Like second nature, Giyuu gently reached down, pinching and releasing the new feathers for Kanzaburo. He'd shake his head making a little satisfied cooing sound, earning him a smile from his master. Carefully stroking his beak, Giyuu continued writing her reports. Perhaps she'll take Tanjiro's offer in using his Kasugai crow to send out her report. After all… Kanzaburo seems very comfortable.
….
It hasn't taken long for the other two boys to join Tanjiro in her attempt at mimicking infinite striking training. She had ran out of practice dummies early on with the three of them striking over and over til they exploded or their bokkens shattered. To her… it was a good enough sign as any to have the trio spar with her at once.
"Don't lighten up!" Giyuu shouted over the loud clanking of the wooden swords, using them to deflect the onslaught of swings coming her way. Everything was precise, every step, every bend and strike. She needed to be two steps ahead of the teens to avoid any hits. When one would slow their movements, Giyuu would quickly spin on her heel, delivering a strong kick to their torso to knock them to the ground. This gave her a moment of rest to only focus on two instead of three until they recuperated and threw themselves back in.
Three sessions of consistent striking without vomiting or fainting. That's what Sanemi had told her. That was the passing point of his training. If Tanjiro could just keep his damn breakfast and lunch down, he'd pass. The blonde kept fainting, but he was staying conscious longer. And Genya… The boy was resilient. Giyuu kept imagining it had to be a Shinzaguawa gene at this point. She couldn't blame everything on his unusual ability, especially when there's been no demons around for him to take a bite out of. While he lacked skill in swordsmanship, he made up for it by having strong reflexes and finding alternatives to standard battles.
The trio were all out of breath, panting as they sat on the ground, chugging cool water from their bamboo canteens. Stepping towards the largest of the three on the ground, Genya blinked as he looked up to her, even with the scar along his face, he suddenly looked childish from this angle. Reaching out, Giyuu gave the top of his head a firm pat. "You passed."
"Eh—huh?! I-I did?" Genya's face beamed, sitting up straight while holding his canteen to his chest.
"Yes." Replied Giyuu.
"Wow! Congrats, Genya! I knew you could do-!" Tanjiro's congratulatory speech was cut off.
"Him?! Why him?!" Zenitsu yelled from the ground. "Tanjiro should be the one that passed! He's been doing this days before us! If any of us should be passing it should be him! You better not just be passing Genya because of his brother-ACK!" Giyuu's foot made contact with the side of the blonde's face, keeping him on the ground.
"I am not…" Giyuu sighed. "If I was going by my own standards, Tanjiro would have passed by now… However, considering this is the Wind Pillar's training, I am using how Sanemi determines when a person may move on. His rule of thumb is three consecutive sessions without vomiting or passing out." She turned her gaze to Tanjiro, his expression bright and open, prepared to take in whatever she was going to say. "You're able to consistently strike, and while you do get up quickly, you're often vomiting…"
Tanjiro seemed a touch bashful but gave a firm nod. "I promise to do better, Giyuu-san!" He shouted with determination.
Giyuu hummed, looking down at the boy under her foot. "While you don't vomit often… You're constantly fainting. And yes, you do get up relatively quick. However, you're still losing consciousness all the same." The boy pouted, grumbling while knitting his thick brows. Giyuu released the pressure on his cheek, turning back to Genya. "You've passed because you're able to strike repeatedly and take multiple hits. Truthfully, I could have passed you earlier. But I wasn't entirely sure if you had lost consciousness when you hit the ground at one point. Going a few more rounds was the safest option."
Genya stared up at her, his eyes wide as she explained her reasoning. "Thank you, Tomioka-san!" He bowed his head even though he was sitting while Giyuu stood.
Giyuu gazed up at the peach sky as she gave an acknowledging hum. "Head to Himejima's training either now or in the morning. Whichever you prefer."
Genya gave a firm nod. "Would… would it be alright if I leave in the morning?" He asked quietly. Giyuu gave a simple nod. Genya smiled brightly up at her. She turned away, walking back to her estate as the boys began discussing the training along with what they should make for dinner that night.
…
…
Giyuu gave Tanjiro's head a soft pat, he was sweaty and exhausted, yet looked so eagerly at her. "You've passed. Go to the next training assignment." Tanjiro bowed deeply as he thanked her for all that she had done for them. Taking a step towards the blonde, Zenitsu was beaming, lowering his head slightly for the head pat she had given the other two as they passed!
WHACK!
"Ouch!!"
Giyuu had smacked him upside the head. "You passed. Now leave."
Zenitsu rubbed the now tender spot on the side of his head! "Why are you so mean to me!?"
"I don't like you." Giyuu spoke truthfully. "It's very unpleasant being around a child that doesn't know how to mind his own business." She sighed, hands on her hips. "However I was generous and still trained you to the fullest potential given the circumstances."
"You call beating me up all the time generous?!" He cried, pointing accusingly at her.
"I do, considering I could have just passed you the moment you annoyed me. Giving you zero experience on skills you desperately needed… So yes, I was very kind." Giyuu extended her hands for the bokkens both the boys were holding. Tanjiro bowed after handing his sword to her.
"Thank you again for all you have done for us, Giyuu-san! I promise it wasn't all for nothing!"
"You've already thanked me, Tanjiro." Giyuu spoke calmly as she placed the wooden swords on the engawa, leisurely walking towards the other items of their training that was left on the fields.
"Yes, but I do truly appreciate it!" Tanjiro puffed out his cheeks, his friend looking rather annoyed and exhausted.
"That's nice…" She didn't turn around to him as she tidied up.
"Oh— let us help! It's the least we can do for you!" Tanjiro smiled widely. "I can cook you something tasty afterwards."
"You don't need to do that. After you two leave, I'm going to secure the estate and head back to my original training course." However Tanjiro was already picking up anything he could find on the ground that wasn't part of the normal set up. "You two can take whatever food you can carry on your journey to the Stone Pillar Training."
"Good! I'm gonna go pack that now!" Zenitsu avoided helping them clean and jogged towards the engawa, taking off his sandals and running into the halls towards the estate's small kitchen. The headache in Giyuu's temple was already settling as he left.
"Are you sure you don't want me to make you anything?" Tanjiro asked with a tilt of his head. He appeared slightly embarrassed by his friend just running off without offering to help.
"I'm sure, Tanjiro. The Wind Estate is often very stock in food and pre-made meals. I'll have something more filling there." She'll eat some fruit on the way there… something light to help with the fluttering butterflies that decided to swarm in her stomach. The anticipation of seeing her lover after so long makes her feel foolish. The two haven't contacted each other since she had gone back to the Water Estate. An air of uncertainty stayed trapped in her lungs. It felt like a promise when she left the bamboo garden, that the space wasn't forever. Just until she returned after their training. It had begun to pain her from being a part so long from him. Like a smittened maiden waiting for her lover to return. But she wasn't that, truthfully she could have written to him or taken the hour and a half walk to the Wind Estate. Though she was stubborn, so painfully stubborn.
"Well, if you're sure! The food there was really delicious!" Tanjiro easily filled in the silence with chatter, easing her mind of the infatuation she was housing for her partner.
…
Shortly after a quick, light lunch, the two boys both tied up the leftover food in the kitchen, essentially making the space bare once more. Giyuu stood on the short engawa, watching Tanjiro as he waved excitedly back towards her. There will be enough sunlight out for the two to make it to the Stone Pillar's training without the worry of any demons attacking them. Sighing, Giyuu gently took Kanzaburo into her hands. "Do you mind delivering a message?" The old crow perked up, pride showing on his tiny face as he gave a response of 'I'm ready!' And ruffling his feathers. "Could you fly to the Wind Estate and tell Shinazugawa Sanemi that I will be returning tonight?" Kanzaburo gave a strong nod, giving one last shake of his feathers before spreading his wings and taking off in the direction of the Wind Estate. Taking in an easing breath, Giyuu quietly returned inside her estate. She needed to prepare her home for it to be empty once more.
…
"Agh-! What the fuck?!" Sanemi shouted as a Kasugai crow suddenly flew into his head while he was picking up the pieces of broken bokkens from the day's training. The sun had begun its transient into night as the damn thing crash landed against his head. Sanemi had sensed the bird flying close to him, but he figured it would have landed close by on a perch or even his shoulder as most of the Kasugai crows were rather comfortable around him and wouldn't stray from affection. However none had ever body slammed into him before. Sanemi quickly caught the damn thing as it stumbled, not being able to land perfectly on his head it seems. Holding it out in front of him, his heart raced recognizing the old crow. "What is it?" His mind raced with the possibilities.
"M…message from Tomioka Giyuu!" The crow began. Sanemi huffed softly, already knowing it was going to be from her but nodded anyway. Kanzaburo was quiet for a moment, before getting out "Master… is coming home tonight!" He shouted happily that he was able to remember the details of his assigned message.
Sanemi's stomach twisted in the best way. He couldn't help but feel the separation without a word was karma from months ago when he had first kissed her then ignored her for a solid week. This however was a necessary decision for the damn sake of training the lower ranks… Even if he painfully found out that the damn saying absent makes the heart grow stronger was in fact true. "Well it's about time…" Sanemi gently shifted the old crow in his arm, keeping him close to his body as he's seen Giyuu do countless times. Tonight, he'd be able to sleep next to his lover once more. The thought itself made him embarrassingly happy.
…
…
A bath would be nice…
That was Giyuu's first thought in the humid air as the Wind Estate appeared in her vision. Soft flickering light from the lanterns guiding her way as the night wore on. Giyuu had left her estate a touch later than she planned. At the moment, she was suddenly pulled back by the urge to visit the small altar once more. The quick prayer turned into something longer, causing her to leave just as the sun lost the last of its rays. Traversing the path at night was no true issue for her, in fact it was peaceful. No low intellect demon would have been stupid enough to attack her nor be near the Wind Estate with the large amount of slayer inhabiting the land. Shaking her head lightly, Giyuu passed the stone gates and up the engawa, she raised a hand to knock before freezing… She had permission to enter anytime she liked… Sanemi had said that to her many times. Taking a deep breath, Giyuu tried the handle, sighing gently as it opened easily for her. She was quiet making her way inside, there were distant footsteps of others going along their business for the end of the night.
A gasp made Giyuu flinch slightly, turning her head, she was met with the familiar eyes of one of the Kakushis that resided in the estate. The woman was holding multiple cooled hot plates, assumingly from the meal prepared for the troops that evening. "Tomioka-san!" She greeted bubbly, quickly bouncing up to her. "You're back! Welcome back!" She was beaming as she greeted Giyuu.
Bowing her head politely, "I am… Thank you for greeting me as warmly as ever."
"Of course! I've missed having you around!" She exclaimed, causing Giyuu's heart to speed up; not expecting such a caring response!
"Oh… I see. Thank you." Her eyes quickly shifted to the stack of plates in her hands. "Would you like me to help you finish cleaning up?" Giyuu raised both hands out to take any of the load.
"Don't be silly! I have everything under control!" She puffed out her chest, smiling behind the mask. "I appreciate the offer!" The woman playfully leaned in, pretending to be sneaky as if there were others around. "Just so you know~ I believe Shinazugawa-san is still in the tea room if you're going to be looking for him!" There was an underlying tone of knowledge behind her words. It made Giyuu's stomach flutter at the implications, this Kakushi knew of her relationship as well. And…and she looked so giddy about it, excited that the two were going to be reunited.
"Thank you very much for that information. If I can't be of any help further, then I am going to head over there to inform him I have returned." It still felt odd speaking so often now a day after being silent for so long. Her jaw would ache in such a particular way and she'd feel out of breath. Which made absolutely no sense to her considering total concentration breathing was far more difficult than just speaking a few sentences. Yet here she was.
"Lovely! I still have some chores to do in the kitchen! But I'm so happy I was the first to welcome you back! Please enjoy the rest of your night and I shall see you in the morning!" The woman bowed her head once more, mood improved as she had a spring in her step heading down the hall.
Giyuu waited patiently until her footsteps faded. Taking a moment to breathe… Giyuu took in the familiar walls as she made her way towards the elegant tea room. Her stomach fluttered lowly in her stomach, threatening to become arousal as she remembered when the two had gotten intimate in such a proper room. There was a not so subtle craving for it to happen again… Giyuu had missed Sanemi's touch greatly.
Walking into the quiet hall.. Giyuu approached the tea room's sliding door, seeing that it was already ajar. Peeking inside before entering, her heart filled with affection seeing Kanzaburo napping on a familiar white, folded haori. There was a small napkin next to him, crumbs scattered as if he had just eaten a filling meal and needed to sleep it off. Giyuu slid open the door further.
"Those bastards finally passed, huh?" Though the voice was rough and rude, it sent warm shivers up her spine nonetheless. Giyuu turned her gaze towards the man and the only other one in the tea room. She stepped inside, gently closing the door behind herself. Approaching the table, she noticed an empty teacup placed upside down next to a warm teapot. Giyuu could only assume it was for her considering Sanemi has a steaming cup next to his papers as he wrote his report.
"Yes. Tanjiro and that annoying yellow haired boy took longer than expected." Giyuu knew better than to explicitly say anything about his younger brother until otherwise informed it was a safe topic. "Thankfully I was finally able to send them off today while the other had left a day or so prior." Just enough information unless he asks for more.
Sanemi grunted, "That bullshit sounds about right..." The room became quiet after Giyuu hummed to his complaint. Neither wanted to be the first to address it… To speak about how much they missed each other's company. Such hard headed individuals would of course have fallen for each other. Giyuu briefly wondered if she should have copied Sanemi's tactic. That being to clear the table, picking Sanemi up from his chair and placing him on top of the surface before kissing him silly! However, with Kanzaburo sleeping soundly on the haori on top of the table put a damper on that fantasy. "The fuck are you waiting for?" Giyuu snapped out of her daze, eyes focusing on Sanemi's; they had aggressively gotten bloodshot once more. Sanemi's chair wasn't fully pulled in towards the table. He had faced her in a forced casual way. "Get over here." Giyuu perked, taking the few steps it took to where Sanemi was sitting.
Leaning over slightly, Giyuu felt her breath hitching as the two met in a kiss. Oh how badly she had missed them from Sanemi. Sighing into the kiss, a hand was carefully placed on her waist, his thumb gently massaging her skin over the fabric. Placing her hands gently on his shoulders, the two pulled back, eyes meeting once more. Sanemi huffed softly through his nose, both hands on her hips, guiding her closer towards him. Giyuu immediately understood the intention, she wasted no time to straddle herself over his lap. A satisfied groan left Sanemi's lips, his hands roaming her body. Roughly feeling up her thighs and back, pulling her closer as the two kissed again and again! Giyuu sighed out blissfully, parting the kiss and bathing in the heavy arousal filling her stomach as Sanemi peppered her neck with kisses. "Mhmm…" her hand went into his hair, tugging the light strands closer to her body impatiently. Her dreams have been flooded with this damn man, the majority of them being solely sexual. A few others were about cooking together in the Water Estate. But more often than none, it was about Sanemi's tongue, fingers and cock. Leaning back down for their lips to crash against each other again, Kanzaburo made a tiny sound in his sleep, reminding the two they weren't alone just yet…
Both froze, looking towards the old bird, each suddenly quiet. "…I'd rather we do this somewhere Kanzaburo isn't going to be."
Sanemi grunted, his hands going under Giyuu's thighs and standing. Giyuu gave a tiny surprised squeak as she was lifted so easily. It appears that she had forgotten Sanemi's ability to pick her up as if she weighed nothing to him. He pushed her upwards, opting for the two hands under her thighs to be just his arm under her ass, keeping her supported as he walked. Giyuu steadied herself by holding onto his shoulders, her heart racing as Sanemi casually opened the sliding door while she was still in his arms, leaving the door open for Kanzaburo. He didn't care if anyone was around to see him carrying her in his arms, he wasn't ashamed of her. And while Giyuu had been perfectly content with people not knowing of their relationship for so long… it felt good that given the circumstances, Sanemi wouldn't deny they are together… made her chest feel light and tingly.
Surprisingly enough, while Giyuu heard distant footsteps and light voices, the two managed to just avoid others it seems as neither caught sight of anyone while Sanemi made it to the restricted hall. His eagerness showed by him walking a touch quicker once his bedroom door was visible at the end of the hall. Giyuu's fingers curled in the fabric of Sanemi's sleeveless uniform jacket, buzzing excitement dancing under her skin. As he opened and impatiently shut his bedroom door. Everything looked practically the same, she had spotted the three books she had left from Uzui's wives stacked neatly on the chest of drawers. The only real difference seemed to be that the cover on his futon was switched out for a lighter one for the summertime weather.
The arousing excitement only grew as Sanemi flipped the latch to his door and immediately brought her towards his futon. Giyuu's back made contact with the bed she had grown to miss terribly, she sighed into the kiss that was pressed against her lips the moment Sanemi began to lower her on the futon, her arms never leaving Sanemi's neck. Large, firm hands squeezed at her thighs, feeling up and down her strong legs. How shameful she was to already be feeling so aroused. Their kiss broke for only a moment, Giyuu allowed herself to be manhandled, pushed up the bed till her head was on one of the two pillows. She couldn't be bothered to notice if it was Sanemi's original pillow or the one that had suddenly appeared the second night she spent at the Wind Estate. It wasn't a concern, no, not at all, especially when Sanemi was already undoing her belt and taking off her pants. Giyuu gently blew out a strained breath, lifting up her hips for him to easily take her uniform pants along with her fundoshi off in the same smooth pull down her legs. The article of clothing were discarded off to the side of the bed, her white button up seemed to have been next on the list.
It occurred to her that he apparently wanted her fully naked, normally when the mood hit, it wouldn't matter how much clothing either were wearing. Though something sparked at the sin of nude skin on skin, Giyuu's hands flung to Sanemi's belt, making quick work of it while he statistically began unbuttoning the collar of her shirt and a few down. By the time his belt was undone, he had roughly sat back on his heels, forcing Giyuu to sit up slightly as he had a firm grip on her shirt. Sanemi had undone her shirt just enough that her head could easily make it through as he pulled it up and over. His hands ran over her sides, starting at her waist and running up towards her breast, kneading them over the thin cloth before going around her back and taking off her final piece of clothing. There, she was guided back down, head landing comfortably on the pillow, gazing up at her lover. Something was different behind his eyes… there was more, so much more that she couldn't use a word for. Hands were roaming along her body, making her tense lightly though quickly melting into the sensations they left behind. Giyuu sighed out, closing her eyes and allowing herself to be touched, however Sanemi wished, whatever he gave her, she'd selfishly take.
There were lips back at her neck, causing her to moan quietly, stretching her neck out for him to reach more surface. Her body shivered as she felt Sanemi gently nip at her skin, pressing hard kisses over it and intentionally leaving a mark. After all, from the days apart, her skin had become virtually clear. It had been so long since her skin was devoid of their love marks, her heart had felt empty seeing nothing in the mirror.
"I missed this…" Sanemi's voice rumbled against her neck. Giyuu responded in an agreeing hum, bathing in the affection that were his hands still feeling up her body, yet teasingly avoiding her aching crotch. "—'missed you…" Her breath nearly hitched at his confession… The two hardly ever… ever stated something so vulnerable such as missing each other while one was away. Normally it would just be shown by how they craved each other's body. Like how she assumed they were doing now. Yet actually confirming it outloud…
Giyuu's heart was hammering in her chest, her arms around his neck tightened slightly, keeping him close. She pressed a firm kiss where his shoulder and neck met, with the intention of leaving her own mark on his skin. "Missed you too…" Giyuu murmured against his burning skin. A hand carefully came up to her jaw, guiding her to shift her head. She met those lilac eyes that she's become so familiar with for a single moment before their lips met once again. Both sighed through their noses, content filling their systems as they held each other, bare chests pressed flushed, Giyuu could feel Sanemi's heart beating against his chest as she's sure he could feel her own.
When they pulled away this time around, a thin string of saliva still connected their lips. It broke as Sanemi lowered his head, kissing at her shoulder, trailing down to her collar bone where he once again bared his teeth against her, leaving his mark in her porcelain flesh. A soft whine came from the sting of it, encouraging Sanemi further as his hand came up, cupping and fondling one of her petite breasts. His thumb played with her nipple, causing it to harden under his teasing touch. Giyuu gasped as his head went lower, giving a firm lick over her other nipple. She swears they have become sensitive ever since Sanemi started toying with them so often. When she had her own self love sessions, never had they felt like this when she touched them. Now the tenderness of them being licked and flicked sent arousal down to her core. Another gasp broke as Sanemi gave a mean pinch to the one in his hand. "Ohh-! Ha… jerk." Giyuu gave an open palm slap to his back, making it echo loudly, but hardly painful nor a sign to stop what he was doing.
There was a smile pressed against her breast, Sanemi gave one last kiss to the squishy mound before meeting her gaze. "Always fucking hitting me and you call me the jerk?" He asked in a playful, low tone, his hand massaging up and down her inner thigh.
"Yes. You provoke me." Giyuu replied, lifting then parting her legs on either side of his hips.
"I'm provoking?" The albino man laughed at the irony of what she had just done. "Because where I'm sitting, I can't help but feel that what you're doing is a bit more provoking. Seducing, even." His eyes drifted lower, between her legs, his fingers gave feather-like touches over her crotch. Hardly touching between her lips and his finger had a trail of slick connecting to them while retracting his hand back. "Fuck, you're so damn wet." Groaned Sanemi, feeling just how aroused she had become.
"That's also your fault, go take care of it." Giyuu rebutted flatly, a small victory at making Sanemi grin so smugly.
"Oh, my fault!" He grinned, shifting backwards, keeping eye contact as he did, lowering himself. Giyuu's legs twitched in anticipation, her chest rising higher as he got comfortable between her legs. "Guess I'll just have to take responsibility then~" Sanemi's lips pressed against her inner thighs, trailing his mouth down her heated skin.
Giyuu inhaled deeply, resting her head back against the pillow and shutting her eyes as he inched closer and closer to his goal. She released the breath in a low moan "Haa—" Sanemi's tongue ran flat from her dripping hole to her clit, his own groan vibrating against her damp skin. "Sh-shit…" Giyuu's hand immediately reached for Sanemi's hair, tangling her fingers in his short locks as he got to work eating her out. "I—I swear—" Giyuu's mouth hung open, a loud moan escaping as Sanemi sucked on her hard little clit. "Ahh—!" Gripping his hair tighter, her back arched. "Fu-fuck! Augh— I swear, y-you do this for yourself with ho-how much you get off— haa!" Her head thrashed to the side, a hand reaching up to frantically cover her mouth when a particularly loud moan was ripped from her lips. Sanemi had pulled off her clit with a strong suck, making her jerk at the rough treatment, however it didn't stop her cunt from quivering and oozing.
Licking his lips to savor her taste, "You might be right about that." An impish smirk danced across his face. "I may get a little drunk from eating you out." Admitted Sanemi, his hands back at her waist, leaning over to lick just below her navel, causing her muscles to tense.. "It's a win-win situation for me. I get to experience how good you taste, while getting all these pretty reactions out of you." He proved his point by giving a firm lap at her bottom lips before flicking his tongue on her clitoris, causing Giyuu to stifle a whine while her legs and muscles in her stomach tremble. Giyuu crossed her arms over her head, covering her eyes as she groaned. Sanemi chuckled seeing how her face and shoulders became rather red. "It also feels like the one time you get embarrassed. I've told you how much I like this before. I'd fucking happily go down on you everyday if you'd let me. Don't even gotta ask me, just push aside your yukata or drop your pants and I'll get on my knees for you."
"F-fuck— Sanemi." Giyuu murmured, her body feeling as if it caught on fire. Her mouth opened into a pitiful little gasp as his hands firmly ran up and down her sides, starting from her hips and reaching up towards her breast. "W-we'll never be able to get anything done at that point."
"Is that right? I'm gonna be on my knees that often?" He teased, getting back in position and kissing right on the little bundle of nerves. The fingers near her hole were able to slightly feel her body clenching against nothing.
"Mhmm— You're ruining me…" Giyuu confessed, feeling light and dizzy from his touches, she felt intoxicated… "This," indicating their sexual acts along with their relationship, "-is all I can think of now a days. It's really not fair how much you've taken over my mind." She shifted her arms covering her face, peeking down at Sanemi so close to her throbbing cunt, his eyes focused on her while he waited for her to finish speaking patiently. "I don't know if you'd ever get off your knees…"
Sanemi groaned, "Fuuuuck… That might actually be a problem considering how tempting that sounds…" His hands snuck under Giyuu's thighs, pulling her closer to his face, she shivered, feeling his breath tickling her heated skin as he spoke. "Cause unfortunately I'm in the same fucking boat as you. I always want my hands all over you, leave marks with my mouth to admire when you're naked. Can't tell you how badly I always want you on my fucking cock, fuck you look so good on it." He pressed a heated kiss just above her crotch, sucking a reddish mark right there.
Giyuu swallowed, cunt aching near painfully now with the desire filling her veins. Her arm shifted away from her head, reaching down below towards his face. Cradling his jaw, thumb gently massaging against his skin, tracing the edge of his scar running along half his face. "You can have me whenever you want, you know..." Her heart sped up watching his eyes dilate. "I don't think I'd ever say no to you… I want you too often to even think about denying you your fill of me." Giyuu's eyes widened as Sanemi quickly crawled up her body, his lips smashing fiercely against her own. "Mh!" Both their lips are going to be bruised after tonight, though who could truly care about that while their bodies are flushed together. Giyuu could feel Sanemi's hardon on her thigh through his pants. Pants that he needed to take off along with the open top on his shoulders.
Giyuu's fingers tangled themselves in Sanemi's short, wild hair, keeping him close to her as they took their fill of each other's mouths. His hand trailed below, slotting between her legs, she gasped as two of his fingers pushed inside of her drenched hole. Sanemi took advantage of her gasp, slipping his tongue into her mouth, both groaning as their kiss deepened. The digits didn't take their time, fucking fast and hard into her repeatedly, there was a sinfully wet plapping sound, Giyuu's arousal was dripping down his wrist. Her legs were squirming restlessly, not being able to decide if they wanted to close, spread or wrap around Sanemi's waist. It was difficult for her to continue kissing him back, her mouth would go slack, panting when his fingers bashed into that spongy spot inside of her. A high whine escaped her throat, she felt like her tongue was melting against Sanemi's still in her mouth. Giyuu took in gulps of air the moment Sanemi pulled away, she pressed her head against his shoulder, panting against his skin while his fingers didn't slow down. "Wa—wait! I'm going to cum if you keep going!" Giyuu's fingers dug into Sanemi's skin, anchoring herself down.
"Kinda the point, Yuu." Sanemi snorted against her neck, lips curled in a smirk. "I feel you should know by now, you're not getting out of this only cumming once." The two digits became three, stretching Giyuu's soaked walls around his thick fingers.
Cursing against his skin, Giyuu's legs clung to his waist, trembling as her edge came embarrassingly quick. "Ha—ahh!" Her nails dug into his back while her hips frantically rocked against his fingers. "Fuck!" Maybe it was from not being able to finish for so many days… The only time she had any alone time in the Water Estate was the second time she sent the boys to the market with a shopping list… And she wasn't able to have an orgasm… It wasn't coming so she had given up, feeling frustrated the rest of the day. But this orgasm hit her fast and hard, a powerful moan ripped from her throat as she threw her head back. Directly after, Giyuu's hand flung down to Sanemi's wrist, desperately trying to stop his curling fingers. "A—alright! I-I came, you—you c-can st—stop!" Her cunt was quivering with overstimulation around his digits. A loud gasp left her lips as he finally stopped finger fucking her, not without giving a mean pat along her crotch. Giyuu dropped her weight against the futon once the shock of that lewd spank rushed in and out of her system. "Phew…" her hand gently massaged over her hole, taken aback with just how wet she had become.
"That was fast." Sanemi teased, licking his fingers clean while he leaned back on his knees to take her flushed form in.
"Shut up…" Giyuu sighed, closing her eyes and sighing deeply. Her body felt like jelly, all loose and wobbly from her high. She inhaled sharply as Sanemi's hand touched her torso, feeling up towards her breast, his thumb going back to gently teasing one of the rosy nipples. "Mhm…" Her over sensitive body jerked as Sanemi pinched her nipple again, an embarrassing sound escaping her throat. "Hey." Giyuu kicked his side, getting a chuckle from him as he leaned forward, giving the little bud a gentle, apologetic kiss before leaning back and standing up. Giyuu blinked, watching him stand and leave the futon… Her mind raced to why he could be leaving, normally he stays beside her after she orgasms, they'd work on reaching his own. Observing him silently, relief flooded her body seeing him at his chest of drawers. After flinging his top off, he pulled one of the drawers open, Sanemi quickly began searching for something. This felt familiar. And just like the déjà vu suggested, Sanemi came back with a small glass bottle, this one being short and fat with a flat bottom. She wasn't sure if this was his own personal oil or if he had bought it specifically for them. Either way she couldn't care when he got back in his position on the futon next to her.
Once he had knelt on the mat, Giyuu's hands made it to his pants, the belt was undone but the rest were still on. Sanemi placed the bottle down, assisting Giyuu by pulling down his pants and fundoshi. The moment his cock freely sprung up from its enclosement, Giyuu's hand began touching it. Taking hold of it, arousal flooded her stomach once more as it throbbed in her hand. "Jeez, my pants aren't even around my ankles yet and you're already going after my cock." Sanemi huffed, no real malic in his voice.
"You aren't much better." She rebutted, both knowing just how often his face or hands are between her legs the moment they are bare. However she released him all the same for him to toss his pants to the side, as he did, he laid down comfortably next to her body, a hand running up and down the curve of her waist. Sanemi gave a hum, as if distracted already. Giyuu couldn't truly complain…she didn't want to. There was so much affection in his gaze, she didn't know how to act. Her body felt too hot, this felt too intimate… The heart thumping in her chest begged for her to allow it to continue, there was nothing else it wanted then to submit to this dangerous sense of belonging… To belong only to Sanemi and for him to belong to her… How foolish, in the back of her mind she knew what this feeling was… Giyuu's throat tightened, she needed to avoid thinking of this, it'll ruin the mood. Reaching out, Giyuu gently grasped Sanemi's erected cock, giving it a pump. "Come on…" Don't think… she couldn't think about it… If Sanemi was fucking her with a inch of her life, she wouldn't be able to have any other thoughts.
A groan radiated from Sanemi's throat, she felt the anticipation in her veins as he took hold of her leg, lifting it up and placing it over his hip. Giyuu swallowed, heart racing as Sanemi reached for the bottle once more, while he uncorked it and poured some in his hand. Giyuu was a bit distracted by his cock being so close to her hole, she guided it closer to her entrance. If she rocked down… the tip might slip inside. She apparently didn't need to wait long, Sanemi took her place holding his length, pumping his cock with the personal lube, slicking it up before guiding the shaft towards her cunt. The bulbous head of his cock swiped up and down against her opening, not pushing in just yet, the bastard was just teasing her first before releasing himself and just allowing the tip to press against her slit.
With a firm grip under her thigh, Sanemi pulled her body closer to his own, essentially making her penetrate herself on his cock. "M-mhm…" Giyuu closed her eyes, body jerking slightly as the tip popped through her walls.
"Fuck… Always so damn tight." Sanemi groaned, pressing his face against her neck, peppering it with kisses as his shaft continued to inch further, stretching her drenched walls around his size. Giyuu inhaled sharply, her arms going under Sanemi's and clutching around his back to anchor herself down. How embarrassing it was that she began to fall apart so easily for him. "Relax for me…" Sanemi whispered against her ear, making her shiver and clench around him unintentionally. The hand that brought her closer to his body trailed her strong leg up towards her waist, a caress so delicate she felt uncertain in how to react. However her body seemed to decide how to for her, the tension she held from the initial penetration released, Sanemi's cock easing in further with a shift of his hips. "That's it…" The soft petting against her waist changed when his fingers dug in lightly, pulling her body flushed against him.
Giyuu muffled her moan by pressing her mouth against Sanemi's shoulder. Sanemi started at a slow pace, hand reaching lower to take a firm handful of one of her ass cheeks, gripping it hard and pulling at it to force her to rock against him. A groan vibrated on her skin, she could feel Sanemi's cock twitching inside of her as his pace stayed slow yet became harder. "Mph-!" The hard pound made her leg hanging off his hip tremble, she screwed her eyes shut, basking in the sensation of being manhandled in such an intimate way. Nails dug into his back, she was panting against his flushed skin now, Giyuu's hips being manipulated so lewdly was causing her cunt to throb around the cock thrusting inside of her. "Ahh— 'Nemi-!"
"I'm here." Sanemi's arm around her back held her tightly to his chest, rocking his hips to meet her while thrusting her down on his cock with his other hand. Giyuu gasped out a moan, arching her back and tossing her head back at a particular hard punch to that spongy spot inside her cunt. "Fuck, feel so goddamn good, Yuu. Like it?"
"I—I-! I like it— I really, really like it!" Giyuu whimpered into his skin, her nails scratching along his back to hold herself down. She gasped out a loud moan, her back hitting the futon once more. This time however, Sanemi lifted her hips off the surface, pounding into her suddenly! "Haa! Oh— fuck, Sanemi!" The lifted angle had the head of his cock punching into that poor, abused spot, shooting numbing zaps up her spine and through her limbs. She couldn't move her hips, reliant on Sanemi controlling them, pushing her away then yanking her back on his cock! It felt like whiplash, the slow start morphing into a dizzying fast pace. Giyuu's fingers curled into the fabric of the futon near her head, her other hand gripping Sanemi's wrist at her hips! Bright, white stars shot behind her eyelids.
"Fuck!" Sanemi practically growled, fucking into her welcoming hole. With the strength he was holding her hips, there no doubt will be fingertip bruises on her waist he'll happily admire later on. Holding her hips higher, Sanemi had the honor of watching his cock slip in and out of her dripping cunt. His cock was drenched, it crossed his mind loudly that she was so fucking wet that the oil wasn't even necessary. Her walls were smothering his cock tightly— "Agh— fuck, you're gonna cum again?" Sanemi wanted to tease her, make her face go red. But fuck, he wasn't much better, his cock felt like it was about to explode. Giyuu made lewd, strangled moans and gasps, nodding her head into his pillow. Her legs tightened around his waist, he felt them shaking as she attempted to hold onto him while he was thrusting wildly in her. "Come on, Yuu! I wanna feel you cumming on my cock." Sanemi pulled her hard against his cock, burying himself deep in her pussy and grinding into that spongy spot. He felt one of her legs jerk up and straighten outward behind his back. Giyuu had enough brain power left to snap her face into his pillow, suppressing the slew of messy sounds that came singing out of her lungs. Her rapture of an orgasm nearly trapped Sanemi between her strong legs that suddenly locked around his waist! With a string of loud curses, his cock just barely made it out of her quivering cunt before ejaculating an impressive load over her stomach. Groaning, Sanemi leaned over her spent body, pressing his mouth against her neck considering her face was still buried in the pillow.
Both panted heavily while bathing in their euphoric high, Sanemi's hand lazily stroked up and down Giyuu's body. He could feel her heart humming against their pressed chest while catching her breath. Reaching up towards the pillow, Sanemi gently nudged it away as he guided Giyuu's jaw gently so she could face him. Her large blue eyes seemed even more doe-like in their dazed gaze at him. There were tears stuck to her eyelashes, very quickly in the beginning of their sexual activities, Sanemi discovered it was rather normal for Giyuu to form tears when leading up to and having a more intense orgasm. Sanemi may have started looking at it as a job well done when there's tears in her eyes or running down her cheeks. Tilting his head up, their lips met in a much more humane way. Giyuu's mouth still trembled lightly, Sanemi could feel how difficult it was for her to continue kissing him. Pulling back, the harsh man pressed a tender kiss to her cheek, hearing her sigh blissfully was enough of a response for him.
"G—gonna… close my eyes for a second…" Giyuu managed to get out, giving a tiny huff and pat to Sanemi's back while she did in fact shut her eyes. A smile came across his lips, his fingers carefully tucked back her hair that was clinging to her forehead.
Sanemi pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Yeah, yeah. Go to sleep if ya need to." Giyuu hummed, leaning into him as he shifted them to a more comfortable position on their sides. He managed to get the thin, summer blanket over their bodies, giving their nude bodies some decency. Blaming her pressed body heat to his skin for why his chest was feeling so damn warm… wasn't the answer anymore. It had become so painfully obvious, something he's known for sometime now yet refused to truly acknowledge it outloud. Though watching Giyuu begin to breathe evenly against his body, the affection he housed for her felt overwhelming. His fingers gently combed through her thick hair, Sanemi could tell she hadn't fallen asleep just yet. He pressed a kiss to her scalp. "Love you…"
In a perfect world, she'd sleepily mumble it back. Instead, Giyuu fluttered her blue eyes open, eyes slightly more clear then the dazed afterglow from her high moments ago. "Huh..?"
Of course she'd need him to repeat it… His damn heart was already fluttering like a fool in his chest. With a tiny huff… "I said, I love you." There was no point in denying what he had said, no point in pretending his feelings weren't love and devotion for her. The two were terrible at expressing how they felt out loud, though he truly hoped this brought them in the right direction.
Giyuu's mouth opened, Sanemi anticipated hearing those three words back… Yet her mouth closed again, whatever she was going to say was gone. Her endless blue eyes shifted away from his gaze. His heart began sinking. "I…" Giyuu hesitated, opting to look anywhere else in his room. She didn't push away from him, Sanemi almost wished she did, it'd explain why his body suddenly felt so cold.
She didn't return his feelings… Giyuu didn't love him, yet he still felt the unfortunate love he had for her so painfully in his chest.
Sanemi sighed heavily, his jaw beginning to get tense. "So you don't." He should have expected as much, he wasn't someone people could love.
"I—" Giyuu cleared her throat. "I didn't say that." She got out quickly, her mind sobering up from the high.
"Yeah, and you also didn't exactly say anything otherwise." Sanemi sat up. It wasn't something he should be angry about… he wasn't angry at her, he was just hurt. And his damn emotions didn't know where else to channel it but to be pissed off about it.
"Sanemi, please." Giyuu gripped his arm tightly the moment he reached for his pants that were tossed at the side of the futon. "Just— just wait, please. This—this is difficult for me-"
"Difficult for you?" His volume was louder than he intended it to be, but how could he control it when he felt so insulted by that sentence. "It's difficult for you, yet I just found out the woman I fucking love doesn't love me back!"
"No, no, don't say that!" Giyuu kept a strong hold on his arm. He should rip his arm away, get dressed and storm out of his room to go anywhere else! Yet those damn blue eyes were pleading for him to stay… And he has become so weak towards them.
Sanemi groaned frustratedly into his hands, taking in a deep breath, he turned his attention back towards her. "What the fuck is this to you?"
"Wh-what..?" Giyuu was taken off guard by his question, her grip lightening now that it didn't appear that he'd bolt away.
He huffed frustratedly. "What is this to you?" Sanemi batted his hand between the two of them. "Because this isn't just to pass the fucking time to me. I'm not—I'm not fucking doing all this with you just because you're conveniently around. I want to fucking court you, I want you to be my wife. To fucking paint you gold on the days you can't see how beautiful you are. And I need you to tell me if that was a fruitless endeavor of a fantasy I was having by myself!" Because he truly thought she somewhat felt the same. Could she have still believed what she had at the onsen all those months ago when she thought she wasn't worthy of being a bride? Had he done such a poor job expressing how he felt to her?
"I-I want that too!" Giyuu shouted louder than he's heard her speak in quite some time. "I want that too. I truly want to be your bride, your wife. I want to stay with you and only you, Sanemi. Please believe me." Her hand clutched onto his arm once more, he felt a slight tremor under her palm.
All anger in his expression dropped as his brows knitted softly. "…But you don't love me." How could she want all of that yet not share the depth of his affection towards her.
"Stop saying that I don't!"
"Because you're not even pretending to say you do! Or that maybe you could one day!" Sanemi snapped, ready to jerk his arm away, but Giyuu quickly sat up straighter, keeping him in the futon.
"I can't! Damnit, Sanemi! I—I want to, but I can't!" Giyuu shouted once more, feeding off of Sanemi's frustrations.
"Why not?!" None of this made any sense to him! Giyuu was such a straightforward person! Both and all that met her fucking knew that! If you asked her if she liked something she'd tell you yes or no. It was black or white with her! She shouldn't be stuck in the middle of something so important! Either she loves him or she doesn't!
"Because I don't want you to leave me! If I say it then you'll be gone!" Her nails dug painfully in his arm. "Please! Please don't make me say it, I need you to stay." The nail marks were close to drawing blood, her hand was shaking around his arm.
Sanemi stared silently at her for a moment, her expression becoming raw and open for the first time since he's ever known her. "Giyuu." There was a shift watching her desperate expression. "Giyuu, I don't understand." He shifted, placing his hand over her trembling one, ensuring her he wasn't going to leave just yet. "Please… Please just fucking help me understand this. I don't know how you fucking think majority of the time. Why would I leave you if you told me you loved me? If anything— that'll get me to stay!" He managed to pry her fingers off his arm and hold her hand, she immediately squeezed it tightly.
Giyuu took a shuddering breath, mentally preparing herself for something unpleasant. "I… I want to be your bride, I want to marry you… I want to be your wife, live with you and have your children one day." Her grip began trembling yet she didn't release his hand. "B-but I can't do that with you from your grave… I need you here to do all of that."
She didn't mean he'd separate from her…
When Giyuu said he'd leave her… She meant he'd die…
"…Why would I die if you said you loved me?" Sanemi needed to understand, he held her hand tightly, his other reaching out to gently massage up and down her bare shoulder. Her eyes were beginning to look glossy, making his chest squeeze in a terrible way.
"Because everyone else I ever said it to did…" She didn't allow him to question it before she already began to list it out. "I told my parents I loved them… both died of a sudden illness." Giyuu took in a shuddering breath, eyes filling with unshed tears. It wasn't like when she was overwhelmed with sex, this a terrible reason for tears to be in her eyes. "M-my sister… I'd tell Tsutako every single day that I loved her, even multiple times a day! And she—and she still got eaten." She didn't need to say by what, Sanemi already knew… "I told—" Giyuu's voice broke, the unshed tears finally running down her cheek, swallowing the lump in her throat as she attempted to push through. "The—the night before my final selection… I-I told Sabito I loved him… And he was the only one that died on that mountain!" Her jaw clenched, hand shaking as she held onto Sanemi's as an anchor. "So I can't, I can't say that to you! B-because I need you to stay with me! I-I can't marry you and-and be your wife with your children if you're dead! I…I can't burden you like that…"
Sanemi sighed softly, his hand that was massaging her upper arm and shoulder trailed to caress her jaw, using his thumb to gently brushed away the few tears she managed to shed for him. "I feel like you should know I'm far too stubborn to die." He leaned in to kiss her cheek, kissing away her salty tears before parting just enough from her to gaze upon her shocked expression. He'd laugh at how owl-like she looked if this topic wasn't so serious. "I won't make you say you love me… Until you can say it freely, I'll say it enough for the both of us." Sanemi pressed a single kiss to her lips. "I love you, Yuu."
Giyuu didn't respond verbally, this time he didn't expect her to. Her lips trembled into a tight line as she nodded her head over and over. Sanemi gave a small breathless chuckle, taking Giyuu into his arms. She melted easily, burying her wet face against the crook of his neck. How silly it was that the only times he's ever seen tears in her eyes were when she was overstimulated and the first time he told her he loved her.
He brought the two back down on the bed, allowing Giyuu to rest against him. Sanemi took hold of Giyuu's left hand, rubbing the finger next to her pinky. "I'll get you a ring in the morning…" He could feel Giyuu's heart picking up once more against his chest.
"I—I don't want to lose it…" She managed to get out, the fear of losing something so sentimental adding to her rare moment of weakness. Afterall, with the intensity of how she trains, it was easy to imagine it falling off without her knowledge. She didn't want that. Giyuu hadn't cried in years… of course Sanemi would be the one to make it happen… it felt like she couldn't stop the faucets running from her eyes. Yet with the tears flowing freely, she felt lighter.
Humming, Sanemi gazed at her fingers, the faded scars littering her knuckles giving him a lovely idea. "Alright." He brought her hand up to his mouth, kissing her ring finger kindly before parting his lips and taking her finger into his mouth. Before she could respond or even think to rip her hand away, Sanemi bit down. Of course not to bite off her finger or cause permanent damage! Giyuu flinched and grunted at the sudden pain, yet still didn't yank away, determined to see whatever this was through. He turned her hand to shift her finger in his mouth to bite it once more. Releasing her finger and pulling her hand back, around her finger, just breaking enough skin, there was a ring of teeth marks. "This will have to do for now until I get you one."
Giyuu held her hand in front of her face… a swell of devotion filling her chest. Quickly reaching for Sanemi's left hand, Giyuu took hold of his ring finger, copying what her lover had done and biting down just hard enough for the bite to break the surface of skin and hopefully a scar will appear. Sanemi hardly winced, quite used to breaking open his own skin. However when she released his finger he was able to see it for himself… A wound never made him feel so warm, perhaps it was because this wasn't from battle…
It was a permanent reminder of their commitment to each other.
