Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Born Again.

Amid the Endless Veil of Possibilities

Across the limitless expanse of time and reality—through timelines splintered like glass and dimensions layered like pages in an infinite book—one world was chosen.

A massive, radiant roulette wheel hovered in the void, spinning furiously. Colors bled into each other, streaking like auroras. The names of countless worlds—some well-known, others long-forgotten—flashed by in an endless stream of light.

Click. Click. Click... click.

The wheel slowed, the rhythmic ticking echoing like the heartbeat of the cosmos.

Then—silence.

It stopped.

"SOLO LEVELING"

Mart blinked in disbelief. "…Wait, hold on. Solo Leveling? Seriously?"

Hovering before him, the ROB—Random Omnipotent Being—pulsed with amusement, its ever-shifting form glowing like a living nebula.

"Haha! Yep. Too late to back out now. Have fun, kid!"

Before Mart could even form a proper protest, his vision shattered like glass, scattering into blinding white.

And then—nothing.

---

Everything felt… wrong.

There was no body. No air. No sound. Just warmth—oppressive, smothering—and an eerie sense of weightless drifting, like being suspended in thick, slow-moving water.

Where am I? What the hell's going on? Why can't I move?

Panic rose, but there was no breath to scream with, no limbs to flail. Only thoughts, sharp and panicked, trapped in silence.

Time unraveled. Seconds stretched into eternities.

Then, without warning, light exploded around him. Blinding, pure, overwhelming. Voices followed—muffled at first, like coming up from underwater.

Then clearer.

"Congratulations! He's a healthy baby boy!"

A piercing cry tore from him—not conscious, not deliberate, just raw instinct. He was crying.

Because he was a baby.

Through blurred, tear-streaked vision, he saw her.

A young woman, barely in her mid-twenties, radiant despite exhaustion, weeping with joy as she held him close to her chest. Her dark auburn hair clung to damp cheeks, and her eyes shimmered with uncontainable love.

"Yuna…" a voice said softly.

A tall man stepped forward—broad-shouldered, kind-eyed, with sharp Eastern features. He leaned down, gently pressing a kiss to her forehead.

"We did it," he whispered, voice thick with emotion.

Yuna smiled through her tears, gazing down at the tiny bundle in her arms.

"He's beautiful," she murmured. "Minho, let's name him… Seojun. Choi Seojun."

The man nodded. "Yeah… Seojun. It's perfect."

---

Somewhere Within That Newborn Mind

Mart's thoughts flickered like static on a broken screen—disjointed and hazy, but there.

Yuna… Minho… wait. These two... they're my parents?

He couldn't remember much—his past life as Martinez Gray was like a distant dream, blurred and fleeting—but something deep within him recognized this moment.

This is real.

A second chance.

And these two strangers—who held him with more love than he had ever known—were his beginning.

His true beginning.

---

Five Years Later

Time passed differently through the eyes of a child.

What felt like eons was merely five years.

Choi Seojun, once Martinez Gray, had grown into a curious, sharp-eyed boy with a spark that set him apart from his peers. Though most of his past-life memories remained submerged, fragments would surface from time to time—flashes of sarcasm, faint echoes of paranoia, instincts that felt too advanced for his age.

Even as a toddler, he had been different.

He learned to walk faster. His questions were more pointed. He climbed like a monkey, analyzed like a detective, and solved problems with an almost unnatural clarity. His parents saw only genius;they praised his gifts. But to Seojun, it felt like something older… deeper… was guiding him.

Bathed in moonlight streaming through his bedroom window, Seojun stared at the ceiling, his young mind unusually restless.

Then—it happened.

A soft chime echoed in his head, resonating like a ripple through his soul.

[SYSTEM INITIALIZING…]

Congratulations. Your custom system has been successfully activated.

His eyes flew open.

No way…

[Current World: SOLO LEVELING]

System Type: Anime/Manhwa/Novel Power Acquisition

World-Hopping Functionality: Locked

Starting Ability: Random Selection in Progress…

He sat up, heart pounding in his tiny chest. This wasn't a dream.

"The ROB… the reincarnation… It actually happened," he whispered.

[Random Ability Selected: Katakuri's Observation Haki — One Piece Universe]

Foresight ability granted. To obtain more powers, complete Quests or perform Sign-Ins.

He stared at the text floating before his eyes, breath caught in his throat.

Observation Haki… Katakuri? Wait—what's One Piece?

In an instant, knowledge flooded his mind. Scenes from another world—battles, training, hardship—became part of him. He saw Katakuri's discipline, his mastery over future sight, his pain and pride. It wasn't just data—it was experience.

"So… this ability lets me see a few seconds into the future?"

He grinned. "That's... kinda insane."

His heart raced with anticipation.

Then—a voice called out.

"Seojun! Sweetie, come help Mommy for a minute!"

Yuna's voice rang gently from the kitchen.

Blinking the glowing interface away, Seojun leapt out of bed.

"…Coming, Mom!"

And with that, the boy who once was Martinez Gray—now Choi Seojun—ran into the warmth of his second life, unaware of the dangers lurking in this new world.

Send Powerstones.

I'm still thinking, whether to make him and Sung Jinwoo similar in age or Jinwoo should be older.

Apparently at the start of the Solo Leveling canon, Jinwoo was 24.

Make your pick y'all.
