Chapter 10 - memories of the past II

As Luna grew older, the memories of the accident still lingered. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something wasn't right. When she turned 19, Luna decided to investigate the accident that had changed her family's life forever. She dug deep, gathering information and piecing together the events of that fateful day.

And then, she stumbled upon a shocking truth: the car accident was not an accident at all. It was orchestrated by her uncle's wife, who had a grudge against her family. This revelation only added to the family's pain and mistrust.

Luna sat in her apartment, she couldn't help but wonder what her uncle and his family were planning next. She felt a sense of unease and fear, knowing that the dispute was far from over. Luna stood up, walked to the window, and looked out, her mind racing with thoughts of the past and present. She knew she had to be vigilant to protect herself and her family.

Despite her emotional turmoil, Luna knew she had to eat something. She hadn't eaten all day, and the thought of wasting the food she had prepared was unbearable. She had worked hard to earn the money to buy the ingredients, so she forced herself to eat a plate of food. The flavors were actually quite comforting since she had cooked it herself, and it seemed to appease her growling stomach.

After finishing her meal, she washed the dishes, the warm water and soap providing a small sense of comfort. The mundane task was a welcome distraction from her racing thoughts. As she scrubbed and rinsed each dish, she felt a sense of accomplishment wash over her.

Then, she went to bed. As she lay there, she couldn't fall asleep, her mind still racing. She tossed and turned, unable to shake off the uneasy feeling in her stomach. Her brain refused to quiet down, making it hard for her to relax. The silence of the night seemed to amplify her thoughts, making it impossible for her to drift off to sleep.

The darkness of the room seemed to close in around her, and Luna felt like she was suffocating under the weight of her own thoughts. She tried to calm her mind, focusing on her breathing.
