Chapter 7. Spell practice class, three main spells of wizards

Sorry, I was just about to plant magical herbs, and I had to put some rot, so the smell was a bit pungent.

Brock realized he must have hurt his neighbor, so he quickly apologized.

Given the behavior, the girl on the contrary could not really get angry. She muttered, 'Next time you rot the fertilizer, don't do it in the dorm.'

After saying that, the girl turned around, opened the next door, and entered.

'Someone lives next door now,' Brock said a little surprised.

The Guton Academy of Wizards has mixed dormitories.

Dormitories are provided to first- or third-year students.

But not everyone prefers to live in a dormitory.

Noble wizards, finding the academy's dormitories too cramped, often decide to return home.

So there are actually quite a few empty rooms in the dorm building.

Brock has been at the Academy for six months, and it was the first time he saw his neighbor.

Back in his room, Brock used the Dust Removal Spell to air it out. After cleaning, it's time for class.

Today was Friday, and the wizard's students in the classroom were a little restless.

Chester was on the table, 'I really want to go home.'

Brock smiled: these wizard students probably had similar feelings to those felt by boarding school students in his past life when they finally got to Friday.

They were looking forward to coming home.

When it was time for class, ninth-grade head Jus stood up and said,

'Those who broke through to the Wizard's Apprentice level, follow me to the practice area for a hands-on magic class. The rest of us stay in the classroom to meditate.'

As soon as he finished speaking, five or six of the wizard's noble students from the front row stood up and followed observer Juice to the training ground.

The rest of the people were full of envy.

When can I do spells too?

Chester had a clear longing in his eyes. He was about to talk to Brock when he saw him get up.

'What? You can't go to the bathroom during class...

At that moment, Chester suddenly realized it, wide-eyed, watching Brock follow a group of the wizard's noble disciples.

There was a slight excitement in the classroom.

All the students looked at Brock with disbelief.

In the first year, at the age of eleven or twelve, only those with noble families and sufficient resources to raise them could become a wizard.

So, in the classroom, all those eligible to attend practical magic classes were nobles.

But even among the nobility, not everyone was a genius.

Among the noble disciples of the wizards in the front row, only six really broke into the realm of the disciples and had the ability to cast spells.

Now Brock, a commoner, has surpassed all his commoner classmates and even some nobles!

It made all the wizard students in the whole class unwittingly look at Brock's back.

Some were shocked.

Some were suspicious.

Head Juice, a tall and thin young man, Brocka remarked, was a little surprised, but said nothing.

What is fake will not become a reality.

A characteristic feature of the wizard's student is the ability to cast basic spells.

If he couldn't even cast spells, the teacher would surely have sent him back to meditation classes.

So Juice just took the ninth graders to the training ground, as usual.

Brock followed them without saying a word.

It was impossible to hide his abilities.

Brock now had to stay at the Academy.

So he had to show his talent as much as possible and strive for everything!

Soon, about seventy students of the wizard arrived at the training ground one by one.

They were no strangers to each other, grouping together in small groups of three or five and communicating with each other.

The nobility circle was small.

The wizards present, with the exception of Brock, were either nobles or descendants of wizards considered high-ranking members of the Emerald City.

So most of these wizard students knew each other.

Brock just stood still without getting into conversations.

Don't force yourself into circles you don't belong to.

Otherwise, you may think you're brothers to others, but in reality, they just see you as a clown.

'She's here too,' Brock watched the magic students silently, and suddenly saw a familiar figure.

It was Brock's neighbor.

A white-haired, blue-eyed young girl.

At that moment, she also noticed Brock, and after their glances met, she turned away, ignoring him.

Brock didn't care; he wasn't a show-off and didn't worry about seeing a girl.

In about five or six minutes.

An elderly teacher with a weathered face slowly approached the training ground. She looked around, staring at Brock for a moment, and then said,

Practice the three main magic spells individually.

After finishing talking, the teacher went straight to Brock.

Hello, Miss Cecily, my name is Brock. Brock bowed slightly.

'Brock? Don't you have a last name? - The teacher was a bit puzzled.

Brock replied, 'Miss Cecily, I don't know who my parents are, so I don't have a last name.'

After being relocated to this world, Brock grew up in the Marquis Mark's orphanage, originally having only a nickname, not a proper name.

When Marquis Mark spotted Brock and asked his name,

Brock took a name from a past life.

When Brock heard his answer, the teacher's gaze softened slightly as sharp as a hawk. She said,

'I'm a teacher of practical magic. From now on, you can call me Miss Cecily.'

Introducing herself, a teacher named Cecily, a determined old woman, immediately got down to business and said,

Considering you're a newbie, I'll personally teach you the three main magic spells of this course.

The so-called three main spells of the wizard are:

See also. The Wizard's Hand, Mind Acceleration, and Magic Shield.

Cecily said slowly.

The Wizard's Hand is the most common spell in the wizard's life. It is equivalent to the third hand of a wizard capable of helping him in battle, experimentation, and daily life.

As she spoke, Cecily's thoughts moved slightly, and the weeds on the training ground suddenly took off the roots. Their leaves swirled and wrapped around Cecily.

Cecily reached out, and the algae leaves gathered at her palm, breathing and exhaling, expanding and contracting as if they had life.

'It's the Wizard's Hand effect: managing objects with intent.'

Immediately after that, Cecily demonstrated to Brock the ability to Accelerate Thought and Magic Shield.

Their action was similar to their names.

Accelerating thinking can improve memory and thinking speed.

A magic shield can create a barrier to defend against attacks.

The Magic Shield, the Magical Shield, as the most basic spells of the wizard, have a wide range of applications.

So they're all called the three main magic spells.

These are fundamental skills for all wizards.

After Cecily introduced them to Brock, she took a set of textbooks out of her vault and handed them to Brock.

'First, try it yourself. If you have any questions, you can ask them to me anytime.'

Thank you, Miss Cecily.

Brock took the textbooks with both hands, thanked her, and then opened them to read.

It was just a regular spell book, no spell scheme.

Looking at it quickly, Brock went straight to the 'Accelerating the Mind' section.

The acceleration of the mind can be counted among the three main spells along with the Wizard's Hand and the Magic Shield.

It was because of his ability to speed up thinking that he had an unimaginable effect in combat, exploration, and study.

Wizards who mastered the Acceleration of Thought had far higher learning efficiency than ordinary people.

And that was exactly the ability Brock aspired to the most.
