Scene: The Ocean's Edge
Celestial floated above the ocean with her wings glittering like galaxies. Her hair was braided in a goddess-level messy bun that screamed, "I don't have time for this nonsense."
Celestial (thinking):
Trial? Pfft. Kill monsters, solve a puzzle, pass a test, claim a godly anklet. Easy. I've literally been executed before. What's this compared to public betrayal?
She landed on the shore of a glowing island that looked suspiciously like it was designed by a Pininterest mermaid. Suddenly, the ocean foamed—and a massive crab monster the size of a palace clawed its way out of the water.
Celestial:
"Bro. Are you the trial boss or someone's dinner?"
The crab screamed like a microwave about to explode and summoned a horde of angry sea monsters—octopus warriors, swordfish knights, even a soggy sea dragon with a bad attitude.
Celestial yawned and raised one hand.
"Fire Tempest."
FWOOSH.
Instant seafood boil. Monsters flew. One octopus tried to run away with his tentacles up.
Celestial (snorting):
"You really thought—never mind. Respect for trying."
Suddenly, the crab monster stood back up, now wearing a glittery golden helmet.
It roared: "FINAL FORM!"
She rolled her eyes:
"Oh please. You're just shinier."
Ten minutes later, she stood over the pile of crispy crab bits, hair messy and veil slightly singed.
Celestial:
"Alright, where's my anklet?"
A voice boomed from nowhere.
Trial System:
"Before the anklet is granted, solve this sacred riddle."
A glowing wall rose from the sand, etched with golden letters:
"I am taken from a mine, and shut in a wooden case, but used by many. What am I?"
Celestial blinked.
Celestial:
"Is this… a riddle or a Minekraft tutorial?"
She stared for ten seconds. Then she slapped the wall lightly.
Celestial:
"It's pencil. It's literally pencil. Can I go now?"
The wall glowed and disintegrated dramatically, like it had just been emotionally healed.
Trial System:
"Correct. Proceed."
A anklet with star decorated in the chains the Anklet of Aether floating above it. It shimmered, pulsing with celestial power. Celestial picked it up, smirking.
Celestial:
"Finally. About time someone acknowledged I'm the main character."
She put the anklet on. The moment it touched her ankle, her body lit up with radiant energy.
Then… her stomach growled. Loudly.
Celestial (deadpan):
"You'd think divine relics came with snacks."
She spread her wings and flew back to the academy, muttering about how divine trials never included lunch breaks.
Celestial (smirking)
"Two more to go "
