The gates opened for the taxi to go in, but the reporters were too stunned to follow them.
"Wow! You were awesome ma'am!" The taxi driver hailed, as he drove to a stop in front of the mansion's gate.
"I guess," Aveline replied.
She didn't know if what she did was awesome. She just knew she was tired of the press and their continuous harassment.
"Thank you for your time."
She paid extra, and still left a very generous tip.
"Thank you ma'am! Thank you so much!"
She waved him goodbye and walked to the gate.
The security officer opened the gate on seeing her.
"Welcome back ma'am," he said to her.
She smiled at him and walked in through the gate.
Aveline had barely taken a step, when she heard her name.
She lifted her head, her eyes widened on seeing everyone gathered.
But there was someone that caught her attention.
An angry Atlas, storming her way.
Confusion marred her forehead through wrinkled lines.
He stopped in front of her, and went completely crazy.
