The moment the girls entered the kitchen, the staff present didn't know what to do with themselves.
Some wouldn't stop greeting. Others pretended to be more busy than they actually were.
Then there was one.
"Congratulations, Mrs Aveline," Diana said.
The rest all turned to her in shock, as if she had lost her mind.
"What?" She argued with their shocked stares. "Sir Atlas is having two babies. Joanne confirmed it to me."
"And there you go blabbing it to everyone else," Riley said.
The happy smile on her face swiftly disappeared. "I'm sorry miss. I was just so happy about it."
Aveline giggled, and everyone's shocked face turned to her this time.
"It's fine, Riles. I'm aware of her closeness with Joanne. I just hope she hasn't been telling you all of my secrets?" She questioned playfully.
"Oh no ma'am. She would never do that. This was already a rumor in the house. She just confirmed it. Guys, tell her."
No one said anything. Aveline didn't mind it.
