"Hey, you two? What was that sound I heard–"
Aveline and Nadia dashed past the greedy guard, and bolted out the main gate.
They jumped into the back of the taxi.
"Drive!" Aveline ordered, as she reached for her phone in her purse.
She dialled officer Ben's number immediately.
He answered on the first ring. "Are you okay, Ave darling?"
"Remember the address of Zara Mustafa you gave me? I need you to go there now. She's dead, and it's bad, Ben. It's really, really bad!" She ended the call.
The driver braked, and the car jerked into a stop.
"What are you doing? Drive!" Nadia said to him.
"She just said someone is dead. I don't want to commit any crime." He trembled.
"Just drive okay? You're not committing any crime. Go!" Aveline ordered.
The driver, although afraid, did as she commanded.
He sped up, as he drove off again.
"Where are we headed?" Nadia questioned Aveline frantically.
"To the police station to make a report, of course. Officer Ben's police station."
