Nadia Sinclair sensed a repeat of the last time almost all of the Sinclairs were gathered in one roof, and forbade it in her mind from happening again.
She walked up to the podium, and snatched the mic from Yasmin's hands.
"We're beginning the bidding now," she simply said.
"You heard her," Aveline said to both Atlas, and Riley. "Stop making a scene and crawl back to wherever you came from."
She began turning her gaze away from them, when something snapped in Atlas.
He grabbed her arm, and yanked her up.
"Are you crazy!" She screamed out.
Everyone's eyes went back to them. Gasps of shock echoed through the hall as they watched Atlas with eyes so razor sharp, it sent chills down their spines, dragging Aveline along with him.
He didn't stop. Didn't listen to her screaming for him to let go, until he was in a room where they could talk privately.
Only then did he let her go.
Aveline's hand slapped him across his face the moment he did.
